We moved my father-in-law into Sunrise a few months ago and am very glad we did. They’ve been great, no complaints. Very friendly and helpful, an excellent place for my father-in-law to live out his life.

My mother has lived at Sunrise Montgomery Village for about 10 weeks now. I live about 30 mins away and see her once or twice a week. She loves her apartment, which is the perfect size for 1 person. The food is terrific. She enjoys the activities and loves that her apartment is cleaned weekly. She’s making friends and tells me how happy she is every time I see her.

We moved my Mom into Quincy Place in June 2024. She has been very happy there and has made some friends already. She really likes the food there and enjoys sitting outside and people watching. The best part is that the staff is very nice and knows each resident by name. They will check on them if they haven’t seen them at their usual times.

This place was everything they said they were and more. The staff and residents welcomed my father with open arms. As visiting family we were also welcomed by all and kept informed of events as they transpired. Even the sales and management team get involved with the residents. Driving the bus, serving a meal, a snack or a beverage. Or simply assisting someone to the dining room or back to their apartment. They were compassionate in their care and always supported our needs.

The care was top notch. The staff caring and responsive. Would have been nice to have more lectures or intellectual type activities in addition to music and crafts. Mother is blind so crafts weren't easy. A bigger meeting room would be nice, the smallish dining area would make something like a lecture challenging but it was the primary activity area.

Our mother rapidly bonded with her care-givers and neighbors in the Sunrise of Louisville Community. She received truly wonderful care in the last months of her life--a level of care that we, her sons, were incapable of providing on our own. We shall always be so very grateful to the whole Sunrise Community.

Mom moved out the end of April, due to health reason...but she really enjoyed her stay. Staff was wonderful, helpful, treated Mom great.. I highly recommend Holiday Hills Estates to others looking.

The staff is outstanding. From admin to Healthcare to mobility, all are knowledgeable, caring, and professional. It is a bit pricey, but for everything that you get, it is worth it!

Upon my various impromptu arrivals my Mother was either sleep in a bed or chair. I never saw interaction or activities. Mom's clothes were missing and never retrieved. She got her hair done once in 30 days. I had to call because her clothes weren't laundered on the designated day. After my call, the next day the laundry was done. I provided a month's worth of diapers that were gone in two weeks. I am still looking for a minimum of two weeks respite care. The cost far exceeds the ability to relax on an 8 day vacation. Or even a mental break. I saw no specific memory care provided that was built into the cost. I understand specialized staff. My vacation in June where I paid someone to join us and paid them a salary was far more reasonable for three people and Mom actually enjoyed it.

From the staff, who are kind, helpful, loving, caring, skilled and so compassionate, to the facility which is so clean, smells great, full of varied activities, attentive to the residents’ needs, to the wonderful and varied food selection that Dad says is great, Stratford is wonderful! When we first brought our dad to Stratford, we ran into family members of other residents. They raved about everything above. My siblings and I said to each other “can this really be as wonderful as everyone says?” The answer is YES! To all the families who are making this huge decision for their mom or dad, please know that you couldn’t do better for your loved one.

From my first dat at Sunrise, I have enjoyed my fellow residents. There is always someone to talk to or play a game with. I can even be the catalyst that puts a smile on someone's face when they are down. I love the "new look."

Nurses and care managers are kind and patient with mom. Mom isn't easy! She has a lovely big room with lots of windows and is quite content.

After many difficult experiences with other elder care facilities, we are grateful to have found sunrise of morris plains. They are committed to providing the best care to those who have done so much for others, our aging and now vulnerable loved ones.

Across the board, I just can't say enough glowing words to describe my experience with Wayland Sunrise thus far. I moved my Dad into Wayland Sunrise in May 2024. He's bound to a wheelchair and he's suffering significant cognitive decline. It's been such a relief to have such a thoughtful team looking over him, and it's been great to see him socializing a bit with other residents; he was previously living alone. Thank you so much: [names removed], and all of the other folks who are helping. I wish I could remember more of the names.

I was going to move mom but she has been so well cared for and improved every time from serious issues there care and understanding is awesome.

My daughter’s father-in-law was in and she and her husband like the place very much. It’s clean, friendly people and they took care of [name removed] needs and medical assistance that he needed. I highly recommend sunrise for anyone that is looking for a place for their elderly or someone in need of being taken care of that can’t take care of themselves.

I am a private caregiver for a resident of 20 months so I see first hand what goes on from day to day. I have nothing but good things to say, from Miriam at the front desk to Dorothy, a care manager of almost 20 years. Everyone here goes above and beyond to ensure the residents have the best care and experience possible.

The grounds set the stage for a well appointed facility. Things were happening with with activities and the staff members I met seen to be really dedicated to giving the residents the best experience possible.
