Sunrise Senior Living

I loved it there, they gave her wonderful care. The facility is very small and a more intimate atmosphere. Everyone was great from the cleaning staff to the General Manager, [name removed] who was very easy to talk too and work with. The nursing staff was wonderful, my mom was in Troy Beaumont a few times and staff from Sunrise visited her every time. The activities were good and they make a point to get everyone involved. Just a great place. Also about every 6 months, Sunrise of Troy does a very nice memorial program for those that have passed. It was so touching, with pictures and special comments. It was so nice, it was a few months after my mom passed and it touched me deeply.

We had been through a rough year with trying to get my husband settled someplace where he felt safe and most importantly, cared for. Sunrise has provided a home for him and for me when I am there to visit. My husband is the calmest he has been in a very long time. We don’t like to find ourselves in a situation where our spouse needs more care than we can provide. It is a very difficult situation but when I cannot be with him, I no longer fret about how he is being cared for. The staff is very engaging and caring and very responsive. There will always be issues but when you have people who care, the solutions come quickly!

We looked for assisted living for our mom as it became difficult to care for her at home. Our mom loves her room. The staff is very attentive to her needs. The food is good with a variety of options. There are many activities offered, but our mom chooses not to participate. The facility is very clean. Highly recommend!

My aunt was taken care of from day one of her arrival at Sunrise. I would recommend to anyone. The staff is friendly and extremely attentive to all residents. They made the effort to get to know me as well as my aunt. They were all lovely.

They staff are very helpful and caring. The apartment sizes and amenities offered here are excellent. I would absolutely recommend Courtyard at Lakewood and already have.

Sunrise Of Orange is a amazing facility. I have yet to meet a staff member who isn't loving ,considerate, patient, and positive. They go out of their way to be compassionate to the residents. I've noticed that the positive interaction of the staff has reflected on the residents- They interact in a positive way - smiling, and helping each other.

What we really liked about the Sunrise of Henderson community is that the staff helped my mother in law very well & were great until the very end when she passed.

So I recently went to the Mount Vernon location to see into the 30 day trial of the assisted-living program for my mom. I was referred from the [removed]. [name removed] has been a godsend and made the whole process so easy for me. She clearly loves her job and the residents there as is evident by the way they light up when seeing her. I have had some not great experiences at facilities in the past and it is so nice to see someone who cares the way she does I am truly sooooo appreciative for everything she has done for me and her assistance. I hope Sunrise knows how lucky they are to have her there representing Sunrise as a whole Thank you [name removed] for everything. You are an angel my friend

Sunrise of Metairie is an excellent assisted living facility. It is clean, and the staff members are very helpful and friendly. I am happy with all the help that has been given to my parents moving in to the facility. I recommend Sunrise of Metairie for anyone needing senior living.

This is a wonderful and loving and supportive place that took great care of my husband. I highly recommend this place. The staff really was genuine and got attached to my sweet husband. And he loved them too.

I give a 5 for all categories. I know the place is expensive, but I can't compare overall value vs. cost to other places because I don't have any other experience with other places.

I love the place. My father is happy there. I would definitely recommend it.

We appreciated how they went above and beyond to get her assessed. She was unable to come in for the assessment and they had a staff member go out to her house and complete the assessment. The intake team did a great job updating us on where we were in the admission process. I was concerned about the room her friends picked out for her, since I am in Georgia and she is in Virginia, the staff took the time and gave me a FaceTime tour of her room, floor and facility amenities. I like that they encourage the residents to get out of bed and interact during meal times and reinforce connectivity. I appreciate that the dining area and food presentation is reminiscent of a fine dining restaurant. Her friends are able to eat meals with her during their visits. I like that if there is an issue or concern, I am notified immediately. They do a great job with communicating changes and requests to the family members.

My Dad has been happy there and we feel it is very homey. The staff all know him and address him by name. The support staff are excellent- very caring. We like that S/R Madison is a smaller facility. Yes, we would recommend.

The place is great. I'm very happy with it.I would definitely recommend it. It's some place I can see myself living.The staff is great. The food is delicious and there's a choice of things at each meal. My husband can be difficult, but they handle him nicely.It's a big relief to have him in a safe, very comfortable place.

My husband passed away this past October but prior to that he was cared for by an outstanding staff at Sunrise of Troy. He was unable to stay at home so Sunrise offered the next best alternative. He was always clean, well-fed and supervised so that I could rest more easily.

My mom has been at Sunrise for over a year now and has faced several physical medical challenges. It has been beneficial that Sunrise has the caregiver staffing and levels of caregiver service that they have been able to accommodate her when she has required a higher level of care until she is able to get back on her feet. She had to go to a skilled nursing facility for a bit and could not wait to get back to Sunrise. My mom feels a special closeness with the director because they both share a background of having been raised on farms. He is an all-around good fellow who has a great commitment to his facility. We appreciate the staff at all levels from the Nursing and Staff Coordinators to Facilities and individual caregivers. Everyone is easily accessible. The caregivers that we have met are personable and care about my Mom.

Our tour of the facility was very nice. Great property, nice people, and our guide [name removed] was very knowledgeable of the building and the elder care in general. [name removed] , the director, even spoke to us at length, which we really appreciated. None of the other facilities we have looked at did the director take the time to meet us, we really appreciated that! 10/10 would recommend

The facility is clean, well lit and well kept. The staff is polite, helpful and compassionate. My parents feel that this would definitely be the place to retire and would be very happy there. [names removed] were so informative and compassionate on the tour of the community. The staff there respects the dignity of each person there, and everyone I encountered during my visit was kind and did their job well.

I would highly recommend this facility. We've been very happy with everything except the 10% increase on the first anniversary and another upcoming on the 2nd. It seems excessive. But we're happy with our choice. My uncle is content.
