Sunrise Senior Living

I help my aunt to transition from her home to Sunrise Senior Living with the help of [name removed] from the management team there. [name removed] is extremely caring, professional, knowledgeable and has excellent communication skills. She took time to get to know my aunt as a resident by going to her room to check on her, thereby, addressing any concerns she had to make her comfortable. The entire team at Sunrise Senior Living at Mt. Vernon is friendly and all seems to work together as a team to benefit the resident. They offer many social activities to meet outings for the residents as well. My aunt experienced a challenge that required her to get physical outside the center and Sadia Ali went to see her and brought her a very nice blanket. It made my aunt feel so loved. Lastly, Sunrise works very closely with Mt. Vernon Hospital, especially with their physical therapy program. I highly recommend this facility to to clients selecting a special place to put their love ones.

, I would highly recommend Sunrise Babylon. The people at Sunrise welcomed her and were very patient with her. She has resolved now to accept this lovely place as her new home, and she seems content once again. My mom needs a lot of care in general, and they are very good with her and her needs.

My mother has been at sunrise for a little over a year. She has dementia and resides on the memory care floor. The care givers are always so attentive to all my mothers needs. Their patience and kindness towards her and our entire family is beyond anything we have ever experienced from other care facilities. [names removed] are wonderful and special people. They have made a tough decision an absolute right one and we all have comfort knowing our mom is loved.

After touring multiple facilities Sunrise of Marlboro could not have made us happier. Our first impression of sunrise was that it was a place that my mother-in-law would be able to enjoy activities with other senior women. The staff that we had met seemed like they genuinely loved their jobs. The dining area and menus were better than we expected. These are just a few of the things that made us choose Sunrise of Marlboro.

My mother has lived at Sunrise of McLean Village for nearly a year and I have only great things to say about the facility and the team that supports her. Everything is brand new and lovely. The team is incredibly responsive and kind. I often see them joking with my mom and visiting her a little extra just because. Her apartment is very nice, and the supporting services are excellent and varied. There are a lot of social and outings as well. Overall a very positive experience!

Both our Grandmother and now our Great aunt have been/are residents. Very good experience. Visits on Sundays include many times live entertainment and accommodations to have lunch or dinner with our loved one. Special thanks to Hendride Nicolas for dinnner accommodations for a last minute visit it was very much appreciated!

I’m more than pleased with my experience touring at Sunrise, from the thoroughness of the intake process and tour with [name removed]. And the quality and compassion of care with [name removed] assessment for my husband. Finding a place that would meet all my husband’s needs was a long and stressful process. My first visit to Sunrise I knew that I had finally found a caring and home-like place. The staff have been amazing! I’ve greatly appreciated the extra care they have given my husband. I’ve also been impressed of the communication on a weekly basis.

I am extremely comfortable after touring Sunrise of Metairie. The kindness, compassion and helpfulness of the staff is hard to find. I have toured Multiple Communities in the last few months and there is hands down no comparison. I appreciate all the staff for treating my Mom and I the way that I would treat her. Communication I have had with Polly the nurse director is super. The tour with LJ made my decision to choose Sunrise feel complete. Food varieties are wonderful and the place is spotless.

My wife and I are very happy here at Sunrise Wilton. The staff make it. They know each resident, and they go out of the way to be certain your needs—and wants—are met. My wife has special health requirements and two very caring aides have stepped up to meet those needs. They quickly become “friends” as well as caregivers. The chef does the same thing along with providing balanced meals for everyone. Entertainment and the daily schedule of activities help round out each week. We highly recommend Sunrise.

Beautiful community and very welcoming environment. All staff from the care partners, to culinary, to housekeeping, to nursing, to administration are professional and courteous and always making their residents know how important they are. I would highly recommend Sunrise to anyone looking for assisted living or memory care residency.

Sunrise at Old Tappan is a great place. It is just what I was looking for. It suits my current and future needs perfectly. Sunrise is a little pricey but I knew that. I hope that I can maintain my health at the present level so I can keep the “care level” at a minimum. The staff is wonderful, the food simple but excellent and there are just enough activities to keep me interested. I knew many of the other residents would have some mental impairment but as long as you keep your sense of humor and desire to help others, you can deal with it. I especially appreciate that professional medical care is readily available and that all residents are checked on frequently.

What our family likes the most about the Sunrise of New Drop is the quality of care given to the residents and we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Everyone is very helpful. The only issue that my sister has is that she does need a high level of care, and it sometimes takes awhile to get someone to her room when she calls. All of the management staff that I spoke to initially were exceptionally helpful and concerned about my sister, especially [name removed]. They went above and beyond to help her.

Sunrise is a wonderful, homey place away from our home. They treat are residents with much love and care. Residents Can be as involved in all activities as they want. many activities are provided each week

Mom has been at Sunrise almost a year now. All of the caretakers/nurses/med techs and staff have been a pleasure to work with! Everyone we have dealt with has been kind, patient and understanding. We are very glad that we found such a wonderful place that meets all of Mom’s needs.

I would recommend Sunrise of North Hills. Though my loved one does complain often about the quality of the food. The biggest problem that I have had is getting the Sunrise doctor to call me back and communicate after she sees my loved one. There is a nice girl in the Wellness Center though, that calls me each month to tell me that my loved one is doing well independently.

My loved one is currently a resident at Sunrise of Annapolis and most everything has been great for him at this facility. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff and care services are also great. I highly recommend Sunrise of Annapolis to others.

The staff at Sunrise at River Road was very friendly and great to work with. I ate there a few times and the food was good, with lots of choices at each meal. As for the activities, we knew there was no pool/aqua, but the other plusses outweighed that one missing feature.

I would like to preface this survey by letting you know that my Mom passed away on[date removed] . It was rather quick, but they were wonderful! The hospice group that they work with was awesome and very attentive. The Huntington staff would quietly check in on us and provided a cart that had coffee, tea, juice, soda, fruit and light snacks. The overall experience would be a 10++. I can't say enough about Huntington. The entire process from the very beginning until the end was positive. Always clean and never any "weird" smells. Everyone always had smiles. She was not always an easy resident, but they learned how to smooth out the ruffled feathers. Each mealtime offered 3 different options and they would accommodate when needed. Always had events or little projects going. Not going to lie....it is an expensive facility, but my Mom was very well taken care of. The piece of mind alone is something you can't put a price on ��
