The staff members are very nice, there has been no mistreatment, but this entire process has been an eye opener for our family. At our initial move in the cost was cheaper than another community but now we are experiencing add on costs. They charge for every single pill your loved one needs to take. They also charge if our loved one needs "redirecting" sometimes our loved one needs help getting back to their room and they will charge for that. It kind of seems like high way robbery.

At the time of our visit there was a room available that was in the price range that our loved one could afford. Their apartment is spacious and we do think the value for cost is fair.

During our virtual tour, the room appeared to be little small. This wasn't going to meet our needs from a care standpoint for our loved one.

I went by myself for this tour and did the rapid covid test that they needed me to do. I waited 20 minutes and then they came out and told me I would not be able to enter the part of the facility my mom would be in because they had a covid outbreak. I feel like that could have been handled better and they could have been upfront before I drove up there and did the covid test and waited. I would have been fine with doing a virtual tour.

I have the smallest apartment, but it's fine for me. I'm happy with it overall. Privacy is one the reasons that I moved in. It's very quiet and private here. The cleaning lady only sometimes shows up. The staff has changed over twice since I've been here The ones we have now are pretty good, but before it was pretty bad. The food varies. Sometimes it's pretty good, sometimes pretty bad. I don't participate in a lot of the activities, but the other residents seem to be happy with them.

As long as your loved one was not a memory care needs resident, this would be a good community. The worse your loved one gets memory care wise, they may not be able to handle their symptoms. After a short amount of time, I had to move my loved one out of the community due to this.

We were not a big fan of the atmosphere inside of Sunrise, it was just not going to be the right fit. We did a virtual tour and the video/audio were not working properly.

Our family was able to do an in person tour and it was extremely limited due to the covid restrictions. However, we were able to see a replica apartment suite on the first floor that our loved one would of moved into, just on the second floor.

Too much like a nursing home for my parents. But [name removed]was great with the tour and discussion.

This wouldn't be my first stop. We are trying to work out the issues with the community.

I explained the concerns I had with my loved one prior to moving in. Sunrise said that they could care for these concerns. Now that my loved one is in the community, they said they didn't have enough staff to care for my loved one's concerns. I would had to hire an in-home care company to stay with my loved one. This has caused the family extra stress over the last several months. The director of memory care said that they have never had experienced a resident they were unable to handle. Then that director of memory care left. Now the memory care unit and administrative teams are passing me back and forth with where to seek answers. The activities for memory care isn't available. There are lots of activities available for the assisted living side. They is no "old person smell", and my loved one is changed each day. I know my loved one is being care for well.

I visited Sunrise on [date removed]. [Name removed] gave me a tour of the facility. It is a really cozy environment and pricing is also more moderate than some of the others.

I think the smallest room option that my mother would want here is a 1 bedroom configuration. After talking with my wife, I think this location is a benefit - its about a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk so, in the event that my mother really needs us to visit, its not a problem for us to pop over. I think the facility itself is alright, though its certainly expensive for the amenities offered (no pool, limited dining, some general purpose space) - its certainly the location that contributes more to the price IMO. Additionally, I don't think the the existing community residents are a good match for my mother - they are definitely more sedentary and it will remind her too much of a nursing home. All in all, there are better options at this price point.

I thought it was okay. It was an older facility and needed some updating. And logistically, it wasn’t convenient for our family. The people we met on our tour were good, but I think I got one who was new and not completely up to speed. He was filling in for someone else, and under the circumstances he did a nice job.

I chose Pueblo Regent at the time because of the price and convenience of the location to my daughter. The carpet throughout the building needs to be shoveled, the maintenance could use improvement as well. They remodeled my apartment before I moved in and the idea was good, but the workmanship was not good. It does suit me for what I need, it has all of the amenities that I was looking for. On rainy days the roof does leak in the dining room and they have not fixed it. The food does seem to be improving since I have been here.

We chose Sunrise of Sunnyvale at the time because it was my mother in laws first choice because she knew other people who were here. Everyone here is extremely nice, but it seems somewhat disorganized and I think that the nursing staff could use some improvement on communication to families. Due to our experience, we would not recommend them to others. We feel she is safe but it is just not the right fit for us.

We virtually toured this community and the tour was very good. The staff was very friendly and shared a lot of great information. The tour was well done and we got a good sense of the space provided. They answered all our questions also.

Nice area, but the traffic near the facility during the week and because of the mall isn't ideal. Facility as nice, but common areas seemed smaller than other facilities we visited. Our contact person was very thorough and answered all our questions.

I would recommend you search further especially for memory care. I started at one amount in a month and it almost quadrupled in the next. The staff seems to be fair in most aspects. The office staff is also good to work with.
