Staff are all very nice, food is average. Chef/assistant chef frequently stop by during meals for feedback and meet regularly with residents. The kitchen appears very small so maybe what they can do is limited. Some parts of the building, like the courtyard and carpets need cleaning and maintenance which is depressing. They have a log book for maintenance requests and maybe they're relying on that.

The upper staff is very unorganized. It is very hard to get ahold of anybody to get answers to questions. The dining experience is very inefficient. You can be sitting there for an hour before they even take your order.

Well to give you an example of what happened today, we were supposed to have trivia at 2:00 p.m. on the second floor activity room. They changed the location to being outside and after several of us wield ourselves up from lunch downstairs on the first floor, we willed up to the second floor to the activity room for trivia, and it had been moved outside, when we were right downstairs on the first floor and could have went right outside. Very inconsiderate not to use the loudspeaker system to announce that they had changed the location. That's just one example of the poor things that happen around here

The Cleanliness is good. Friendliness is good with front desk and crn. Activities are okay but seems misleading from what they "sold" us on. Dining I get the most complaints from my mom on. Takes too long, they don't help her get to the dining room all the time. They are short staffed. Only bath is once a week. Laundry isn't great so I bring her laundry here to do. Price is way too high.

They charged is for a month after my fil passed away 12K. Left a sour taste in my mouth. Wasn't like they had to fill the room. My mother-in-law was still there. The billing department is very unorganized. I was on top of the nursing staff. They made a lot of mistakes with my father-in-law.

The facility is lovely and the administrative and sales staff bend over backwards to see that guests (residents and their families) feel welcome.

My dad is overall happy there but the dining situation is not great. He often does not get the food he ordered if he gets anything at all. They also frequently have internet issues.

People there are great. Our problem was more with lack of staff and corporate leadership. The meals were a trial for my parents. They waited a long time to give their order and a long time to get their meal which was often not warm. The hours for breakfast were too early for my dad. The activities are geared toward memory, movement, social interaction and entertainment. I thought they were excellent. Unfortunately, my parents thought they were for "old people" and wouldn't participate.

Most is ok, but if the dining room was a restaurant, I would not go there. Service is slow. The chef does try to fix food we'd like but I don't care for it often. Breakfast is usually good. Once no one showed up till late for the kitchen and once no one showed up till lunch. They have a no hire on so now one of the servers is on maternity leave they can't hire to fill in. In [date removed] I will move. There is another place that is supposed to be better. Wish I knew before. The manager that interview me and showed me the build some things either he deceived or lied about. I want people to know. They should talk to people that live there to get a better idea about the place

Mgmt was very responsive to questions, where they fall short is having someone ensure new resident transition goes smoothly, they also need to ensure everyone from care givers to food staff are aware of and implement policies and procedures as communicated to residents, this issue causes quite a few issues for some residents.

I found the staff to be very friendly and once you did get a hold of them, they were very informative about what was going on with my father-in-law. The activities manager was always checking in to see if my father-in-law wanted to participate, which I really appreciated! Also, once again when we could get a hold of an administrator, they did their best to fix any problems that we were having. The facility itself is very bright and welcoming and very clean. My father-in-law had one of the bigger suites and it was always very clean and they did take his laundry on time. Always felt he was well taken care of that way. Also, I forgot that when we were there, the maintenance was not great. That was another transition they were going through. It took us three weeks just to get a light put in and we finally ended up doing it ourselves. I think they've corrected that by getting a new maintenance manager.

The residents are very friendly. The staff for the most part are so-so. Some are kind and caring while some are down right rude. Upper management doesn't listen to your concerns and are only overly friendly when they are showing an apartment to rent or corporate is here. The chief operator is a downright liar and only tells you what he thinks you want to hear and nothing gets resolved. The company that now operates the facility is Sky Active Living Center and they also call it The Greeley Place in Greeley CO They charge extra for every thing and are dollaring the elderly to death. Some residents are on a limited income and preferential treatment is given to the ones who have lots of money.

Nursing staff & aids are short staff and cranky. My mother waited "12" days to get her first shower. What we were told when we signed up does not match up to what services she actually gets

Make sure you have a clear understanding of costs pertaining to your loved one(ie. personal care level/ medicines)

Tv and Wi-Fi are not available in certain areas of the facility. The food is too dry.

I’m satisfied overall with Sunrise but I want to point out a few items that family’s should be aware of. Many of the reviews you see listed are for the assisted living community which is completely different from the memory care community. My review is from the memory care unit. The patient care giver ratio was not high enough. They were short staffed many times and I would have to call to get attention for my mother. I would advise anyone moving a family member there to put a camera in the room to watch all activities. There are some really wonderful caregivers and there are some that are only there for a paycheck. I was very vocal after finding my mom in her recliner all night drenched in urine and also when she fell out bed and was left for over 45 minutes. Management did address the situation and promised to do a better job at training personnel. This is my only experience with a senior loving facility and honestly I expected better service for the price.

It is a good option for the budget minded. They are in the process of enhancing security. The food is generally tasty although not top shelf ingredients. This is an independent contractor to help those needing assistance to/from their room, laundry and showering at an extra cost. The building is older but they do a pretty good job of keeping common areas clean and inviting. Underground parking for those with a vehicle.

Some of the staff were wondering and caring. Others not so much. I found the executive director to be rather harsh at times. The facilities are very nice themselves, but they definitely do better with people in independent living than those who need lots of help.

My father was mostly bed ridden, so their goal is to get you up everyday , however in my opinion they are not prepared to offer the level of care my father needed. I was there everyday to make sure he was taken care of. if you are capable of walking, feeding yourself, and joining activities it is a wonderful place. Very clean and beautiful environment.
