They staff is very friendly. They truly care about the people that live in the facility. It always smells like fresh cookies when I walk in. Staff is tenured.

I had a great experience and gained lots of information at the facility. I liked the look and feel. Everyone greeted me as I walked around. The place smelled good and was clean. Overall I think this is a great option.

My mom moved into Sunrise less than three weeks ago. I've been greatly impressed with the entire staff. They care about my mother and provide her with so many services, such as help in bathing, getting dressed, eating in the dining hall, going to events, and so on. They respond quickly to any assistance that she needs. Sunrise is a beautiful place, both inside and out. I'm glad we have mom living there.

What we like the most about Sunrise of Basking Ridge is the nice people and good nursing care. We would recommend this community to other families.

My mom loves the Sunrise community. We are all very happy with the physical therapy she is receiving and the progress she has made thus far. May I also say that [name removed] at A Place for Mom was remarkable in helping us during a very stressful time and I will always be grateful for her help. The facility is charming and comfortable. More importantly, the staff is very attentive. From our very first meeting with [name removed], the staff has gone above and beyond to help my mom be her best.

Great for all categories. It was at the top of my mother in law's list when looking at options. [name removed] not only met with me and my husband, but also took time to talk with my sister in law out of state. The facility is comfortable and has a lot of activities for my mother in law.

The facility is clean, but the dining furniture looks a bit worn. They are very friendly and everyone is addressed by name. The administrative staff is very attentive. Wish there were more selections for food and extended times for residents to have their meals.

We toured many places when searching for memory care facility. Brighton Gardens of Mountainside not only checked all of our boxes but truly felt like a community. From the staff, to the residents, we knew that my godmother would be cared for and flourish here.

I work for a hospice company and have had great interactions with the staff every time I visit a patient. Everyone communicates and is responsive. Place is always clean and the residents look very happy.

I came in last week to take a look around and was impressed by the informative tour. [name removed] was amazing at giving my family resources. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for and assisted living.

I toured this facility for my mother and everyone was so helpful. They were so empathetic to my situation. I plan to move my mother in February. Great place! Great people!

If you have old parents or relatives who need constant care, and you are constantly at work and cannot be with them – you can use the services of Sunrise Reminiscence. Here they are surrounded by attention, kindness, and affection. They will be warm, clean, and fed. The reminiscence wing is always clean, comfortable, no smell. I am very grateful to the entire team for their hard work, patience, kindness, affection.

When I toured I was met with friendly smiling faces. [name removed] was very helpful and provided many resources. [name removed] spent time with my brother and I. This is not the easiest transition and they made everything so easy.

5 for ALL!! My dad really likes it there. It's clean. Always activities going on. However, if he wants to just stay in his room for a bit, he could do that too. Someone's always checking on him. The people there are very friendly and helpful. He gets PT and OT to help him with walking using his walker, and toileting and dressing himself. Dad really likes the food there. Everyone is reminded of when meals are. And the dining room is always clean. Considering all that he receives there, the price is reasonable for a memory care resident. That being said, an active living center is not an inexpensive place to live. I've toured many active living centers and this one has really stood out.

I loved Brighton Gardens in Saddle River NJ. My Aunt was there for one year in a small, one bedroom apartment. She moved because she did not like the food at all and they only offered bus service once a week to the same supermarket. There were no planned trip anywhere else. She is now at a more active and expensive facility in a bigger room. They have a indoor pool and a full gym at the new place. I would rate it a 5, but I did not eat there. She would probably rate it a 4. They did ALL of her laundry, cleaned her room once a week, they made her bed and took our her trash every day, called me if she fell (which she did a few times) and they walked her small toy poodle which lived there with her when it was too cold or very rainy. Everyone I interacted with was kind and pleasant. I did not want her to move. Also they just finished a massive renovation so the place looks brand new. It is beautiful!! Also they have a resident dog that lives there named [name removed]and a beautiful fish tank. I think these 2 features make it much more homey and appealing for residents. The Director's name is [name removed] and she is AMAZING. Like I said I did not want my Aunt to leave there. It wasn't my choice. Grounds are beautiful and very well maintained too. My mom just moved into Quincy Place from her own apt in IL, and we daily feel that it was the right decision to move her here. The home health agency located within the apt building offers many plans for weekly care that can be as minimal as mealtime prompts or as maximal as is needed. The staff at Quincy Place are amazing, and my mom feels happy, engaged, and safe!
