Staff seems very nice, caring and helpful. Average age of residents is older then I thought it would be. Like the idea that they can most likely care for mom from present until hospice.

WOnderful location in Raleigh and very nice property. Parking is a big issue. If they had not saved a place for me as a vistor, I don't know where I would have parked. Rooms looked great. Met the chef, the rehab expert, and several other employees. Chatted with one lady who was very pleased as a resident. Did not meet with the person I was scheduled to, and had a tour from a great guy who was obviously the back up. Cost was a shocker, but as I visit more places maybe I will see they are right in line with other facilities.

[Name removed] showed us Sunrise. She was very warm and thorough. In fact everyone we saw was very warm and friendly. I think if we needed assisted living, it would be a good choice for us. The apartments were small but I guess if we are at the point of needing assistance, we probably wouldn’t need the space. At this point we will put it on a future hold.

Super staff, and nice facility. A smaller and more intimate location, provides a nice range of activities in a well-kept facility.

After a lengthy consideration, we decided that my husband's care/safety would be better in the R.E.M unit at Sunrise. Though it was a difficult decision to make, ultimately it was the right one. Initially my husband was the least impacted cognitively, however after a few months and a fall (broken hip) his cognition declined rapidly. It was somewhat depressing at first to see him in this environment, but we realized it was truly the best place for him. He had mobility and cognitive issues which were difficult to handle at home. The caregivers for the most part rose to the occasion and he was well cared for. If there was an area of concern, it was after dinner and on weekends when the usual team was not there. We hired a companion to fill the void when a family member was not there. The activities were limited and not particularly stimulating. The population of the unit was fairly impacted with residents who slept in their chairs a lot, but it would be better for those more aware to have more choices to participate in. Overall, we were happy with the care extended to my husband. The staff was very kind whenever my daughter and I were in the unit and when my husband passed away recently.

Friendly, sunny, clean setting. Full kitchen. Organized activities. Seems up-beat. Cable / WiFi included. May need further discussions to get comfortable they can meet high level of care.

The rooms were the same as the other Sunrise I visited. The rooms just seem a little on the dark side because of the layout. I received a very thorough tour of both the independent living area and the assisted living area. It is a very nice facility, and all the staff we passed or met were very friendly. I like that all caregivers have to go through a "Sunrise University" for training. Also, at the end of the tour, [name removed] worked up a sample estimate of the per day cost for my mother. This was the only place I visited that did this.

Enjoyed the community but not yet ready to commit to living in that type of home environment.

This is an absolutely beautiful facility. It is still relatively new, and I feel they may still be adjusting to staffing needs. I really liked that each resident wears their own personal medical alert pendant. My tour felt a little more superficial than other places I have toured, but that may have been because the coordinator I was supposed to meet with was tied up in a presentation that ran late. It happens. As much as I feel that this might be a good place for my mom, I dont think there is any way she could afford it.

Very clean and the staff is friendly. The amenities are great, I am impressed with their use of technology to ensure all of the staff have access to the residents info such as notes from the doctor, food restrictions, etc. The cost for medication management does not seem to be in line with the service making the overall cost out of reach for our needs

This was the first place I visited, so I really had nothing to which to compare it. The rooms did seem on the small size, and I dont think my mom would enjoy living in such a confined space. On the other hand, the facility was clean and bright. They also have a wide variety of activities and programs to keep the residents active and occupied. I'll have to wait and see what I think after I visit more facilities. Overall, a nice place, though.

Liked the Terrace Club option. Room was VERY small. Don't know how two people would work in it. Liked the Museum of Morristown classes, working with St. Hubert's, local schools. Might call back to see other room layouts if available.

Location was very convenient. Really liked the Sales Dir, Activities Dir. Met with a few residents. Would have liked this as an option. THEY DON'T TAKE MEDICAID. ELIMINATED.

Similar to Wayne. Room layout was ok. Sales Dir. was a sales person, seemed a little too eager.
