Sunrise Senior Living

Depending on the type of care you need, if you need minimal care this is a yes for communities. If you need additional care then you might check into other communities. The room sizes were great. They had different layouts for the rooms. The food was good.

Sunrise of Dix Hills looked to be the best one out of the other communities that we looked into. The room sizes are very spacious. The food here is good, they have pretty wide variety. I would recommend Sunrise of Dix Hills to a friend or family member.

It was a nice place for someone who is able to get around on their own. The rooms were fine. We had a bunch of unexpected problems with my loved one. They put our loved one in a different unit than what we expected. This didn't allow our loved one to be able to participate in activities or be able to see other residents. All my interactions were good, and the community was quick to reply to any concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to use this community in the future for another loved one.

We chose Sunrise of North Lynbrook because of the enhanced care that they offered. The room sizes were good. I have eaten here and the food was overall very good, it was a nice variety and pretty presentation. My favorite part about this community is the feel of the facility, it has beautiful grounds and structure. It is like living in a nice mansion. I would recommend this community and I have.

We chose Sunrise because they were quick to get my mother in and one of the only ones available. The room sizes are huge, I would say my mother has one of the best and biggest rooms. I have eaten here, the food is pretty good. They accommodate her dietary needs and have variety. I would recommend this community to a friend or family member.

The sunrise facility is more quaint. It seemed more like a large home in the way it was designed, fit for 60-70 people. It was a smaller facility and if you have a loved one who doesn't want to get lost in the numbers, this is a benefit. The rooms were a nice size. I would recommend Sunrise of Woodcliff.

We chose Sunrise of Madison because of the proximity to my house. The room sizes were lovely, my mother loved the room she was in. The staff was phenomenal when my mom passed. They allowed me to see her and the rest of the family on face time during the pandemic. One complaint I do have was the food. It was not fresh and sometimes you had to wait a half an hour for food and then it would be cold. The quality of food was also poor. I would recommend this facility with reservations. If you have someone who needs a lot of care, you may need to supplement your care with your own private aid.

The overall look of this community is a little dated but still nice, room sizes are about average. We picked this place for our loved one because we were familiar with Sunrise

The Sunrise of Westtown community has a very nice overall look to it. They have a different variety of rooms sizes to chose from, they are also pretty spacious. We really liked this community because it has a nice warm feeling to it.

We chose Brighton Gardens of Middletown because it was in our price range and close to my sisters home, so it was easier for her to get to. The room sizes were small. I have eaten there once, the food was average at best. I would recommend this facility because they seemed to do well during the pandemic. The case counts were low.

This is a good place. The food is excellent, and the rooms are nice. There was a negative experience with one of the nurses. My father has a mild dementia, and had trouble sleeping.

The facility is lovely, the management is great and very caring. They have done a super job during very trying times (COVID-19).

Get all the costs upfront. The room sizes and layout of the community are good. The food is average. Overall the staff does a good job at what they do. They have done a good job with Covid-19 keeping everyone safe. They have an outdoor space for residents to use.

We chose this community because it was close to where I live. I personally knew one of the doctors do house calls here as well so I knew who to reach out to. The room sizes are adequate. The food is average. My favorite thing about this facility is it has been there for a while so there is a lot of greenery and the staff goes the extra mile for their residents. I would recommend Sunrise at Fair Oaks.

They have bingo, bunco, exercising classes, book clubs. They have social activities. The food there is okay they try to accommodate to every residents. My mom has a two room suite, we liked the layout and the amount of space the get. It is an older facility, it could use a face lift. They have a nice outdoor area with a shaded patio. The staff was really helpful with taking my mom to her doctors appointments. The communication between staff, residents and their families is really great.

Service is good. Management rating is high.

The rooms at Brighton Gardens are nice, although they could be a little larger. They could have better WiFi service. They have bingo, movie night. They take the residents to the mall to go shopping. My mother does not really like the food, its not very flavorful. There could be more of a variety. The location is great, really close to where we live. We would recommend this to a family or friend.

We are very happy here. It is hard because we can not go in and visit. I have seen my mom every day, we are lucky she is on the first floor. My mom likes the food. The room size is great, I feel she has the best room in the place. They have outdoor areas for residents to use. I wish they could get outside more.

I think Sunrise Bloomingdale is a good place and cost-effective for good reliable care. My stepmom likes the food. The room sizes and layout of the community are good. They have outdoor space for residents to use.

We chose this community because of the cost as well as we compared it to many other communities. When we toured the facility, my mom liked and accepted it. It was also flexible in terms of you did not have to have a contract there, you pay rent and services and may leave whenever you like. She liked the views out the window. My mom did not participate of any activities, but there were a lot of them provided. They had things like trips to the grocery store, snack time, social hour, exercises,and movie night.
