Friendly, caring staff. Safe, clean community.

The staff have been pretty good and responsive overall. The facility is very clean and light and bright and airy. Staff are very friendly. Decent enough food - my dad complains that his food his never hot enough. I told him he should tell the chef since he walks around asking how everything is. My mom loves it. There are plenty of activities. My parents are finally getting out and being a bit more involved. It's very nice to see especially since the pandemic. I can analyze the costs theoretically, however up front the numbers can be a bit frightening. Again, if you break down every day costs of living it isn't too far off the norm. I have the peace knowing my mom and dad are safe.

I think it's great; they are taking great care of my loved one. I'm very, very pleased. I've had to downgrade on a few of the services, but like all other facilities they are having trouble getting staff. Understandably, when there aren't enough people some things don't happen as quickly as you'd wish. If you only have three caregivers when you really need four to five, it can take a little longer when a resident rings their bell for assistance. It's not unique to Sunrise, but they are doing the best they can. I've certainly been very, very pleased with the medical care my loved one is receiving.

We chose a different place because Sunrise was a little bit more run down, and the clientele were significantly older.

My loved ones living conditions have improved health wise. They really enjoy being there. They are happy and engaged with the community. Both there, physical and psychological health has improved. I have also, recommened this place to a few other people.

My aunt seems to be very happy and pleased with all offerings at Sunrise of East Meadow.

I like the atmosphere here. That's one of the reasons why we chose them. They have nice outdoor areas and lots of different sitting areas. The staff seem to be very friendly and caring. Cleanliness isn't perfect, but it's generally pretty clean. She seems happy with the food, and they give plentiful servings.

My loved one has made a few friends. They get along with the staff. They are very active and likes to walk. I would highly recommend this facility. Overall, I am very pleased, and it's give me a peace of mind.

Sunrise of Northville was a very nice and clean facility - we were impressed by what we saw. The floor plan is what was not going to work out for us. My loved one had just had a stroke and had a hard time getting around, so we needed a place that everything was going to be all on one level. The gal who showed us around was super nice and informative. If it were not for the 2 stories, we would have had no issue putting him here.

Her place is lovely and she has really adjusted well. The only complaint have heard from mom is the food, it is not great and needs more options. Fresher ingredients and healthier options.

Sunrise of Dublin is an amazing place that does not feel institutional at all. We are tired of the masking and testing protocols though and think that those need to be dropped.

The staff is good. It's expensive, but worth it. My loved one seems to enjoy it there. They takes good care of them, and interact well. They are always checking on lmy oved one, and is always engaging with him. In addition, they have been very responsive with emails and text message. I really appreciate A Place for Moms help.

The first impression Sunrise of Abington community just gave us that warm, welcoming and homey feeling to it. There was not fowl sterile odors at all the community was just very light and bright and the whole ambiance was just great. The staff members really genuinely care for the residents and based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

Sunrise of Mill Basin is a beautiful facility. The staff were nice but once they found out what I was able to pay, they did not even take me around for the tour since I could not afford it. She was helpful in letting me know some other places I could look at and gave me some advice and helped guide me on where to go so I appreciated that.

I like this place very much. I think the staff are very friendly and really focused on residents and want to help in any way. They call us by first name which is ideal. They help break the ice and by the 2nd and 3rd I felt very comfortable and felt I was recognized by staff. Food is very good - very abundant. Wonderful staff
