Sunrise Senior Living

Sunrise is a very friendly place, the people are great. I'm usually here about 5 days a week visiting so I know many people. I also like that's is a smaller footprint of a building than some of the very large places. It's very clean also. They could have more activities, if that's important to a person it might be something you consider.

I would definitely recommend them to family and friends!

I liked the place. It was a lot older and bigger. The Director of Sales, was attentive to questions. The rooms looked really big.

We picked this community because, cost was a big factor, the type of community and where it's located, and the outdoor spaces. There is lack of communication with the nursing staff. The variety of the food can improve and the taste as well.

A really good friend of ours had a loved one at the community for many years and with their health at times it made them a difficult patients, but the staff were able to handle and manage the care and for us that was a big deciding factor for our loved ones. Also Sunrise is a fireproof community so we like that our loved ones would not have to evacuate. From what we see of the activities calendar there seems to be a lot offered. There have been some silly bumps in the road but also there is a lot of nice things about this community.

We toured this facility and really liked it. My mom is old fashioned and really liked the warm, homelike feel. It was our top choice, however it's all private pay and they don't work with insurance. If they did, we would have definitely moved mom here.

They seem to be pretty good with activities. We picked this community because, it was much beter maintained, cleaner, and the staff seemed much better ran than other places. Overall,they were pretty good, and much beter than other facilites in the area. The people are very attentive. In addition, they had religious service ,that really worked well for my loved one, which was important.

We picked this community because of the large rooms and cost. I have been satisfied with everything. my advice to other families is, to look at several of the communities. Pricing is not the same at them.

This facility is good. My friend is a lot happier here than where she was before. The hairdresser is wonderful! My friend has gotten her hair done several times and it always looks nice. They seem to be doing a good job for her here all around. In the past, she's always talked about going home. She hasn't since she's been here. Not only that, but based on her comments and things recently, she seems to actually be accepting this as home. The staff is very friendly and nice and seem to be helpful. They always seem to make her smile here, which I notice and appreciate. She did mention that the food is always cold. They have a good PT program, which my friend uses and it's been great. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I toured this community. It's a lovely place. The only thing we didn't like was the outdoor space. The area for the residents isn't as large and quiet. That's something that was important to my loved one, no fault of the facility. It's in an urban area, so that's to be expected. Otherwise, it's a great place!

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the tour experience was great, we really liked what we saw but the reason we had to go against it was just the location and the price - it was just to far away and to expensive.

Positive: It is a friendly staff and they provide good care. They are conscientious and always there checking in. Negative: The food is not very good. Inadequate information of care during the sales process. They put my loved in a building inappropriate for him and that was not explained at the beginning.

So far it's going well. We've had no problems with the care. Everyone has been very welcoming, both the staff and the patients. My family member has adjusted very well. The food is okay at best, and they could do a little bit better with that. But the nursing staff is very good. They let me know when prescriptions are low and need to be filled. They check in and give progress reports. And I have been very happy with that.

They were a life saver for my mother! Literally!! We thought we were preparing for the end and things turned around so quickly once she got there. Especially after our horrible experience at a different community!! The sales lady I worked with was great! Helped me get my mother out of the horrible place she was at!! Everyone was super nice! Really loved the facility and her room.

Our families overall experience has been great. Our loved one is happy and feels apart of the community. The activities are a good mix of in house and field trips. The caregivers are polite and respectful. I feel like the entire staff know the residents and actually care for them. I am very pleased with my choice to move our loved one into Sunrise of Northville.

We had a very difficult time, my parents were very resistant to move. Sunrise of Paoli was the most willing to work with them and with me for that whole transition. [name removed] at A Place for Mom who worked with us was amazing. She got us through a very tough time. Overall I would recommend Sunrise to others.

I was very impressed with Sunrise of Montgomery Village. The manager I met with seemed very responsive. The staff were super friendly. It was very clear that the residents' caregiver experience was their priority. I don’t think I realized how important that piece of it was until we’ve had some occasional negative experiences at the place we chose. Looking back, we may have been happier with the caregiver experience at Sunrise. However, it seemed like a smaller facility with older, less active residents. It was a darker facility and felt like a more senior experience than the one we decided to go with.

The Sunrise of Troy community has been able to meet our loved ones needs and overall it just seems like a very nice and safe place to live. Our loved one is not the biggest fan of the quality of the meals but we think they are just fine. The environment overall is very friendly and based con our experience we would recommend Sunrise of Troy to other families.

I was not as impressed with Sunrise of Gilbert. The facility is older and it was too large for my loved one. The staff were all very friendly. The location is close to a lot of shopping so it is pretty busy. For some people that would be great, but for my loved one it was just not going to be the right fit.

We had a great tour experience with Sunrise of Willowbrook. The facility looked nice and the staff did a great job. They were good with their communication and follow up after the tour as well. We just found another facility that seemed to be better laid out for our loved ones needs.
