The place was good, and clean. However it just wasn't the right fit for us at the time.

I think that there could be improvement on retaining staff. There seems to be a shortage. Not sure if it's an industry problem but there's always a shortage. Safety was the number one reason to move my loved ones. Living alone, people do see who comes in and out of the house, as well as the times that frequent. I sleep better at night, knowing they are in an environment where someone is always around them. Aids were never reliable when they lived on their own, they showed up late or not at all. I know someone is always there to look after their needs.

I toured this community. They were under renovation during our tour, but it's a nice facility. I loved the house dog! They didn't have any Assisted Living openings when I toured.

This community was clean and neat. The community sits on a busy commercial road and the parking is difficult.

The medical staff were consistently top notch. They went above and beyond daily. The nurses proactively advocated for things to make my dad's last days better. The concierge are friendly, welcoming and know EVERY THING! The chef goes above and beyond to offer healthy, tasty choices that meet everyone's needs. The cleaning staff does a great job cleaning the rooms and inside the building. The grounds crew keeps the gardens beautiful. It is a bonus to have beautiful spaces to enjoy outside and thru the window. The care manager staff needs improvement. There were a few stars in that cast, but too often the care managers did not come when buzzed. At all. Several times the care managers just wouldn't come until you called the supervisor. If I wasn't there, no one came. My dad stopped using his buzzer because he couldn't get someone to come. The care managers need improvement. The care managers are not well supervised. The stars who go above and beyond are not recognized. Those care managers who do a fabulous job cannot do it all. And the slackers get away with too much.

We decided on Holiday Hills Estates over others that we looked at because it was the most affordable and after talking with everyone, they seemed to be the most friendly. My mom has a studio apartment and it is great and adequate for her needs. Overall it has been a good experience and we would recommend Holiday Hills Estates to others.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was an overall nice community and a nice tour experience

The friendliness of the residents and their happiness is something that really stood out to us, if we had to go back to Sunrise of West Bloomfield we would choose it again. Something that we were disappointed in but also understood due to staffing issues was their response time - something like getting our loved one in/out of bed or in a wheelchair took quick awhile. However based on the experience we had we would recommend them to other families.

We would definitely recommend Brighton Gardens. The daily care by the Brighton staff was excellent. But we were very disappointed by the care received from the independently owned hospice organization (Residential Hospice based in Downers Grove Il.) Watch out for separate and unexpected nurse practitioner charges from one of Brighton's employees.

My mom loves it here. It's a nice and small place. It's worked out really well for her. Unfortunately, due to rising monthly cost and level of care need, we're looking at having to move her to another facility, which they've been trying to help us with. I would recommend them to friends and family for assisted living.

I’ve lived here for a few years. They are very friendly here, activities are okay, wish they had a little more for winter time. I like the people here, residents and staff. I like everybody. Very friendly place and happy atmosphere.

I would tell others looking into Sunrise of Webb Gin for their loved ones to get medications, pharmacy and ot evaluation done in advance. Also bath and cleaning schedules. Visit often and stay awhile the first couple of weeks. You can adjust needs based on your loved ones needs. This is a great place, but just like anywhere else you need to be involved.

My experience at Sunrise has been a good one so far. The staff is friendly and helpful. They know myself and my immediate family members by name so I feel that my aunt is safe there. It's a good spot.

We picked this community because, they have a resident dog and cat. Also the rooms have natural light and the facility has a home feel. The floor plan is not set up that staff can see all living spaces. I've never been unhappy with the choice I made, I'm sorry I had to make it. The staff is very cooperative and helpful .

I had a good tour experience with Sunrise of Newton Square, the drawback for us was the price, it was too expensive.

I liked the options, that they had for the activites. We picked this community because, it was the only community that accepted my loved ones health issues. The staff was very kind. It was really clean. I was really happy with my loved one there. The nurses took awhile to ge to the residents. They need more staff, since they seem to be understaffed. They were really nice and super personable.

The people at Holiday Greely Place are fabulous. And the apartment fits my loved one's needs well. The staff have answered all of my question and have been very prompt.

This is a good facility. It's a little bit older, but once you get in the room it feels very homey. My loved one doesn't care for the food. The activities are very good, they do a great job. They have a good variety, including plant care, painting classes, embroidery, etc. Housekeeping does a good job. The only thing I don't really like is that the hallways are a bit narrow. It's kind of a tight fit and can be hard to navigate, especially with residents using wheelchairs or walkers. Overall, I would recommend them to family and friends.

The staff were very kind and supportive, and the facility is beautiful. They were only one of 3 facilities in the state to accept our loved one who was less than 55, and their decision to be flexible in this regard was life saving. She was warmly embraced. The services were so-so in that trash and room cleaning was not tended to as advertised. Meals were so-so and kitchen had difficulty with special orders. Care coordination was a challenge with extra care provision and hospice but improved once we (family) took the lead in bringing the parties together for coordination.
