Sunrise Senior Living

I have been very pleased with the quality of care, and the staff works well with the Hospice team who also care for Mom. The staff keeps Mom's apartment clean and neat, and she enjoys the social aspects of living in a senior community. We all thought that moving from her home to an Assisted Living community would be a difficult transition for Mom, but it has gone remarkably smoothly. She is very content.

I would recommend Sunrise on Old Meridian to other families.

Well she never stayed there but they did a bait & switch number on us. Quoted us a price for her care needs & wanted a deposit check but then after her review increased the price by $400! That was way off & of course they had deposited her check so we finally got our money back after I threatened to ruin them about 6 weeks later. It was a beautiful place but don't know about care there

They have a fairly new reminiscence care coordinator and the place needed work so she is making some progress towards better. They still have a ways to go. I feel that mom is safe and that is the most important thing me.

It was the only facility that I was able to get my loved one to. They pay attention to what's going on, and they try to keep my loved one engaged. I would recommend to other families, and I have.

Sunrise of Northville in Plymouth is a very friendly community of people. They have helped make my loved one feel comfortable and have helped me feel less worried about them, because they are safe and getting good care there and my loved one is happy. They need to improve on keeping my loved one's bathroom clean. I cleaned the mat in the shower, which should have been cleaned by them. My loved one raves about the food. They said there are always choices. I personally haven't shared a meal with my loved one there yet. The staff is very helpful. If they cannot answer a questions; they direct you to someone who can. I haven't had any problems with them.

This is a very nice facility. It's brand new and beautiful. Communication with the family is very good. The staff are very helpful and good about follow up when needed. The overall cleanliness of the facility is very good, but we've had some issues with cleanliness of my loved one's room. I think part of that was because they were short staffed and I know that's with every place. But it's getting better. The food is ok overall, some meals are great and some not so great. They seem to be better on the Assisted Living side. I've noticed that not all of the menu items that are available in the dining room/Assisted Living are available for the Memory Care residents. Overall, it's a very nice place. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.

I really like the staff. The meals are tasty and good, and there is a set time when the meals start. They encourage everyone to come down and socialize. The community is really strong, and they support each other. They are in the process of replacing the activities director. It is inexpensive compared to other places. We picked this facility because of the community interaction. It's a lot of safe freedom for my loved one. For the last four months, there has been a transitional issue, and there is a new general manager, and they are hiring new people. My loved one has help with her pet and medicine. It's a customized assisted living, which I really like.

We've had a very good experience overall. It's a very warm and inviting atmosphere, with a very homey appearance. It feels more like a big house, as opposed to a facility - it's not so clinical looking, which is a plus for older individuals. My only criticisms are that sometimes things aren't done as timely as they could be. And I think their medication management is too expensive.

I thought Sunrise of Abington was nice. It was a little more expensive though. And my dad preferred another place that was more veteran oriented.

I would recommend you check the community out to see if it would be a good fit for your loved one. The staff communication with the family is very good when we have questions or concerns. There are three meals and day served and there choices to choose from. There is flower arranging, music, church services, and more as some of the activities offered to the residents.

Sunrise has been great. My mom is doing very well there. The independence she has there and the ability to walk around an be social has been very good for her. We're very happy with Sunrise.

Sunrise has very professional and caring staff; and some staff that needs more supervision or training. The overall care is excellent and my mom raves about the food.

There is no complaints about the food. We picked this community, because of the refferals, they offered more personal care, and it was closer to my home. Everything is okay. I am pretty satisfied. They offer activities such as; card games, arts and craft and bingo. They have done well with the personal care. I would recommend to other families.

It was a beautiful facility. The value for the money was not there. My tour experience was good.

We were atrracted, to the staff and the reviews. I talked to people who had loved ones here. We picked this community, because they were proffessional, I liked the friendliness,and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. It seemed like a better fit for my loved one.The billing has been an issue, so it would be nice if they had a better system, and followed-up with phone calls. I would recommend to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and the guy gave a great tour but ultimately it was just not going to be the best fit for our loved one

We really enjoy the people there, the staff members are very caring and the administrative staff team has been wonderful. Most of the care givers have been great and we do feel that our loved one is well looked after and well cared for. They are making improvements to total remodel the community - it has caused some confusion for our loved one but it is all for the good of the community. The meals on the assisted living side were great, but when our loved one moved over to the memory care side they had more limited choice - which we do understand why.

We were very impressed with our tour experience at Sunrise Bon Air. The facility is absolutely beautiful - very nice. Unfortunately it just came down to the cost factor for us, it was more than we would be able to afford. They gave us a wonderful, informational tour though and did a great job showing us around and what all they had to offer.
