Sunrise Senior Living

The staff were very attentive to my wife. Very dedicated to helping. The facility was the right one for her needs. She was disabled and required the highest level of attention. In 18 months I think they had three changes in food staff. Consistency on offerings. All I can think of right now.

My loved one only stayed at Sunrise of Willowbrook for a little over 2 months before passing, but based off of the short experience, I would recommend this facility to others looking.

The facility never told the family that they had to supply all the furniture for the room until she moved in. Including the TV. They told the family that they had therapy. Well they do not. The facility is very nice. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The entire experience was terrific from tour to move in and continues now that mom calls Sunrise home. The staff is very very friendly. They are attentive to the residence needs and question's. It takes a while to get settled in but that is normal for the changes one goes through at this time in life. Every day things get better and the people at Sunrise do everything they can to assist in this transformation. We’re very happy.

Overall my loved one seems content but hasnt yet taken advantage of all it has to offer. She is disappointed with the food so means she cooks more and thus spends more for herself.

My loved one was previously a resident at Sunrise of West Bloomfield and the overall experience at this facility was good for him. The cleanliness and friendliness were good. The staff and care services were also good.

The care staff does seem to care. The administrative staff can sometimes be hard to reach. It is a beautiful facility and I think it would be hard to find a perfect facility. I would recommend it.

What our family likes the most about Sunrise of Bethesda community is the smaller number of residents which allows more personalized attention. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

A new manager of the dementia floor took over shortly after Mom moved in, so in all fairness, she did a great job of trying to correct some issues but still had a ways to go when Mom passed in April of last year. Plus-I felt Mom was safe and renovations were being made to update and brighten the overall look.

The location works great. It is close to family and close to friends. I sense they are understaffed. He knows he is home. I would and already have recommended Sunrise to others.

I would recommend Sunrise of Leawood to others. Unfortunately, there is no guide book for putting a loved one in assisted living, so don't be afraid to ask questions, speak up when you'd like to see something done differently. Everyone at the facility wants what's best for your loved one. [Name removed] and his team have always been super attentive to my questions and concerns.

We chose Sunrise of Grosse Pointe Woods because of the small size, proximity to friends and fa ily as well as the friendly staff. The facility is very intimate and friendly. Everyone is so kind. I think short-staffing is sometimes a problem like many other places, so response time can be slow as a result.

The friendliness of the staff gets a 5+. Quality of care rating is less than perfect because of the QUANTITY of it … (short staffed). Meals offer variety but occasionally over-cooked vegetables.. Activities are also varied but often spaced too close together time-wise so you don’t have a lot of time between them.

Holiday Highland Trail is a great place. My parents did ok there. I'm sad to say my parents passed away within 30 days of each other over a month ago. It's a great community and wonderful staff and residents. We would 100% recommend this community to other families.

He seems happy there. The unit is very nice. He's adjusting to the meals in the dining room and he attends some of the entertainment and lectures. That's all I know. He speaks highly of it. My son in law visits him regularly every few days.

My loved one was previously a resident at Sunrise of North Lynbrook and overall her experience at this facility was good, much better than things were at her previous facility. This facility was better suited for my loved one's level of care.

The video walk around was very good and provided a good overview of the community. I highly recommend this process if you’re unable to visit in person. The property is well maintained but it is older than some other communities.

Over all very pleasant. This is my home now. I thank the staff for putting up with my nonsense.

They really are very warm to my mom and understand her particular needs, especially with anxiety. I always know she's safe and they are very responsive.
