Staff was friendly and so were the other residents. Food was good. The rooms were clean and spacious

Because they didn't give us very good notice of the expenses. It had jumped up $[removed]without any discussion that's why we had to move them out. We definitely loved everything about the place. It just got too expensive

Everyone was very nice and supportive. The staff we encountered were kind. The biggest miss was the option to use the internal pharmacy. This option was not communicated to us which resulting in delayed meds for my MIL. She was in distress, disoriented, and did not pass peacefully. Having the meds on board might have made a difference.

It's one of the hardest times in your life. My mom was already pretty sick. The staff were mostly very nice. It was nice to visit, the person behind the desk always there to greet you etc. There were a few that stood out, [name removed] and [name removed] . Another woman that helped [name removed] . They were overly friendly to my mom in her last days!! The food wasn't great. [name removed] hosted a few lunches. Ordering takeout We had thanksgiving and Christmas, in one of the craft rooms. [name removed] attended. He sang to my mom. It was amazing.

The sunrise is nice and clean. We moved my friend in on a Friday (NOT A GOOD CHOICE). We were assured that he would not be "dumped" in his apartment and then ignored all weekend. Well?? that's exactly what they did! No one went up to show him around and no one went up to check in on him. Unfortunately his sons and myself were unavoidably elsewhere. Also- next time I help someone move into a senior community, there has to be a way to find out wheelchair population verses standing or walker population. THIS Sunrise may not be the best place for my friend.

The price and that they took accepted my uncle's dog to live there as well. Also, the proximity to where I live and the coziness of the property I'm closing on a house. I have no more time

The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a homey feeling when you enter the facility.

Visit the different places, we chose sunrise because they offered Hoyer lift, we didn't want to move mom again if she required more care. You all were so helpful setting up the appointments for me to visit the different places, thank you, it was very overwhelming.

Staff is great. Very clean. I do wish their were more activities for memory's care residents. But overall very goif place with nice people working here

Sunrise has a homey atmosphere, caring staff and engaging entertainment. I would recommend it.

Everyone was very helpful. The business office was slow providing information and feedback on questions. I would recommend them to others who are looking for a place for their loved one.

I have to say the people and the personal service at sunrise can't be beat. If you're only looking for the memory care, I would prefer inspire. But if someone just needs assisted living and they want to be in Manhattan, then sunrise is great. And you really can't fault either of them.

I highly recommend them to tour the facility. Its a lovely community which offers many options. My family and I loved it immediately when we walked in.

Our rating would have been a 5, but they raised rent excessively when the new owners took over. The dining was top shelf along with everyone that worked that area. Always clean and orderly.

They are organized and very kind and responsive. The rooms are big and the food is good. My mom says it's great food.

Things were rocky at the start but most everything negative has been fixed. Memory Care is wonderful and dad has settled he well. I still have trouble with those outside of memory care getting back to me. That would be my only concern.

Overall, the facility is fine. The staff and dining are also good. An areas that I'd like to see improved is: - better feedback from the staff on my mother's general well being. The only drawback that we are facing is that mother is not adapting very well to assisted living.

The sunrise community has been wonderful! The place is filled with light and painted in beautiful yellows. Very bright and happy. The problem is the cost. It's proving to be an unsustainable cost, more than what was predicted when we decided on Sunrise. We may have to move Mom into a smaller apartment.

Staff are friendly and attentive, leadership is prompt to respond to any concerns and the environmental maintenance staff does a fantastic job.

My husband was at Brighton gardens for respite while I had surgery. His room was quite nice....the assisted helpers were very nice. He stayed for three weeks and had PT and OT for a few days. He made one friend he always ate with and has visited back once or twice there.
