Staff is friendly and attentive. When Mom first moved in they helped her get accustomed to living in a new home. She hasn't participated in activities yet. Food I'd good with many options at each meal. Mom has a studio apartment which is small, but good for her due to her mobility issues. Bathroom is large with plenty of room for a wheelchair or walker and an assistant to help her.

I had to fight to get the refund when I left and I constantly had to remind the aides that I was entitled to one assisted shower per week. One time it was three weeks before I had my next shower. And I kept complaining about. Made a lot of friends easily enough.

4.5 for all. Great facility and highly recommend it. We love the sense of community. Everyone is so helpful, clean area, nurses and health care providers are on top of my mom's needs.

The food is bland, mediocre quality - for example, chicken vegetable soup was really an oily broth with a hint of a couple vegetables. I did complain to the head chef who apologized, but I haven't experienced much improvement. There are errors with orders (sandwiches not prepared as requested). The staff are lovely and do their best, but I'm unimpressed and my mother would prefer to buy food and eat in her apartment. Activities are a bit rote and very little has engaged my mother. More cultural activities and entertainment would be appreciated. Given the amount paid, I would expect higher quality of food and activities. The staff is pleasant.

Caregivers are great. Very caring and helpful, especially those in charge. Everyone knows your name - it's a very friendly facility. Food needs improvement - it's not the best. Great activities everyday including field trips.

What we like the most about the community is that they are very flexible and willing to make an individual treatment plan based on the person's needs. Wonderfully and kind staff. I would send my mom back in a heartbeat

The staff was great. Activities were good. Mom liked the place. Liked the residences there. Food was mostly good. The staff was just super kind and caring. Mom really liked everything about the place.

Overall, the experience has been positive someone having to move into any kind of senior community does so with some trepidation, but I think after a year it's been worked out well the food has been somewhat inconsistent. There's been some issue with personnel. There's a lot of turnover and recently I was up there visiting and it says dining hours are 5 to 7 and we were told at 6:30 they were closed and we could only get a to go box which we thought was wrong. The staff seems to be well mannered and polite all the time I don't have any problem with any of the help just seems there may be a little turnover.

Overall our family member is happy with Sunrise of Chesterfield. Sometimes a slow response to buzzer when needs assistance and some management staff is slow or don't respond to families requests. But, as I mentioned above Sunrise of Chesterfield has been a good experience so far.

Well, frankly, it was all a bit hectic. Dad passed away within the month. They were great getting him to the ER in a timely fashion (his heart was done, though)

I think the staff is very warm and welcoming, and provide a positive environment for the residence. Activities are adequate and they're generally is good participation. My mom is very active so she enjoys participating. Food is very good. My mom has no complaints. I have one suggestion for improvement There could be a closer and more proactive communication from the nursing staff to the family so that I know how she's progressing on certain medical issues. The facility is very clean and upscale.

We have found the staff at Sunrise Haverford to be kind and attentive to our family member who is in their memory care unit. They have created a really wonderful community for everybody on that unit.

The facility itself is good and the staff is responsive to us. Mom likes the staff and feels like they are very friendly and caring. My only criticism is that there was the clearest communication upfront regarding the contract and moving logistics.

Mom moved in October and passed at the end of January. Construction on the common area started the day before she moved in. It was supposed to take 3 weeks but was still unfinished when she died 4 months later. There was very poor communication from Sunrise on progress and status, causing a lot of frustration. I don't know if it contributed to Moms decline, but it certainly didn't help. On the flip side, the staff was top notch. Very caring, loving and considerate. I couldn't ask for a better group of humans to take care of my Mom. The director, [name removed] started in his role the day Mom moved in and was a rock star. Unfortunately I heard he left the business. The staff made a miserable situation bearable. And the sense of community among the other families and residents was very genuine and heart warming. The food seemed OK but Mom stopped eating and the construction limited the food options. One thing that was tacky was that the occasionally invited family to a breakfast but felt the need to charge $[removed] a head when we're already paying $[removed] a month.

The staff is amazing. Overworked, but patient, they each try to do the work of two. They are unfailingly kind and caring. The activities are not always to my taste but I go to them for social contact. Many of the residents will say that they are bored. But when they are asked what they would enjoy, they offer no suggestions except "Maybe something else". Not much to go on!!! The activities director does a wonderful job obtaining materials, but then the complainers don't show up. As far as the meals are concerned, the menus are varied and interesting. There are choices beyond the main entrees. Sometimes the meat could serve as sandal soles, but I doubt that is the fault of the chef. Sometimes the menu offers things that don't exist in the building. Desserts are especially prone to this problem. The waitstaff has improved significantly over the last few weeks. Now if the residents were more polite, meals would be more enjoyable. The waitstaff has names and I'm sure they are not named "Coffee here" or "I need hot water". A polite request with a name is the way you were taught. Age doesn't mean "forget your manners".

The staff was gracious and kind, cheerful and helpful! The facility was always in good repair and pleasant. There were occasional problems with the kitchen and dining room, but at this point those may have been resolved.

It is a beautiful facility, accommodations are nice, the caregiving staff is phenomenal. Seem to be somewhat short staffed as the care givers also have to work the dining room. Great activities. The nursing and medical side is less than desirable. Do not seem to want to provide services, not partnering with our hospice nurses, etc. Not communicative with the family at all. The facility had a Covid outbreak, the families were hearing about it from residents; when I asked the nurse, she would not even confirm. And the. Our father subsequently contracted Covid. Was not a good situation. We have given feedback to the executive director.

Would recommend to others. Building and rooms are kept very clean. People living there are well cared for most of the time. Have had a great deal of different management positions change. Been some good and some bad. Many staff changes some good and some bad. Time will tell who stays and who goes

Great people - easy to work with. Very accommodating. Staff is VERY friendly - everyone seems to know all the residents My father doesn't participate in the activities very much, but they have activities almost every day. Dining rooms are very clean, food is decent for the amount of people they have to care for.
