Sunrise Senior Living

Everything is taken care of and things are going well at Sunrise. So far, we haven't had any major issues here. We have no problems or complaints with the staff or the facility and things are gong fine.

Things are going well at Huntington Common. So far, we do not have any complaints about the staff or the facility there. It was A Place For Mom that told me about the facility and so far we are having a good experience there.

Plainview has exceptional staff to care for the residents and all their needs. The place is always so emaculate when I go down for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I enjoy my time here and I'm glad I picked this facility.

Sunrise of East Meadows deserves the 4 star they have received. Its provides top notch care to my grandmother and she would concur with me.

Overall, things are going well at Sunrise. The staff is very efficient and compassionate. The facility itself is always kept clean. The other residents here are also very friendly and easy to talk to. So far, this has been a good experience.

After touring several facilities in the area, we found Sunrise to most closely meet the needs of our loved one. The place is beautifully decorated and has a very homey atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The residents have a variety of activities to choose from and appear to be engaged. I would highly recommend considering this facility.

Was very impressed by the facilities. Rooms, amenities, medical services, employees. We looked at three facilities and Brighton was the best fit. As soon as we sell our parents' condo we are bringing them up north to spend their final years near us.

I like it just fine. The maintenance is good, and the people are nice. It's a really good place. I was at a Sunrise before, and it was nice, but the people here are different. They were nice there too, just different here. I like it.

Our mother received compassionate care at Sunrise of Chesterfield. We looked forward to being greeted by Duggan! The staff was friendly and clearly respected our mother and made us feel like she was the most important resident.

Wonderful, thats all we can say about the sunrise is its the place to be. The staff seems like they are truly confident in what they do and I want them to know how appreciative I am of them.

My husband was in need of short term rehab and Sunrise seemed like the best option. The staff is friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. Many have been employed for years (up to 10) which I feel is an excellent example of their dedication. The facility is only 12 years old. A physiotherapist is on staff along with an assistant, so most of the CCAC therapist visits are being saved until my husband is at home. Food is excellent and facilities are very clean. We had a different experience because of the short-term rehab stay and my husband did not participate in many activities, but something was always happening and other residents were enjoying themselves. Because it is a smaller facility than some, it felt more like a community. Thanks to A Place for Mom, I found the best place for my husband, who will be coming home soon after 8 weeks. Cost was a bit more than some, but I believe it was well worth the value. My husband has been very happy with his stay, which outweighs extra costs. Will definitely recommend to friends in need of an assisted living facility.

We have been satisfied with Sunrise. The atmosphere of the common area is homey. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to say hello. My dad is in the memory care unit. It can be challenging to care for residents that have memory issues and personality changes. They really strive to handle them with a smile and a kind word. I would name names, but everyone on the memory floor deserves kudos for the hard job and kind attitude they show my dad. Thanks

Sunrise is expensive, but for the level of care that they provide it is worth it. The staff is very caring and responsive to the residents. The facility itself is always clean and well maintained. There are a variety of activities for the residents to do. The food here is even good.

It's been fine so far. We haven't had any complaints about maintenance or the food, or anything like that. I would give them a 4.5 so far, nobody is perfect, but they are doing pretty good so far.

My loved one seems to be happy. I haven't had any complaints so far. The people are friendly and helpful. So far so good.

Sunrise is very nicely decorated and always cleaned well. The grounds are pretty too. The staff here is awesome and they are very attentive to the residents' needs. Activities are plentiful, so the Senior's do not get bored.

This facility is nice and spacious with lots of amenities, but it is very expensive. The staff is wonderful. They are very good with the residents. The food is excellent. They seem to repeat the same activities from week to week, but the residents do seem to enjoy them.

It is absolutely the people who have engaged with my loved one that makes this place shine. She adores the staff members and they are just phenomenal and have gone above and beyond. She is also very active since arrive at Sunrise and the consistency of the care is a life saver.

I'm very happy. The people are wonderful, very caring. It's more like a hotel, no funky smells. There is no dread to visit, the room is very nice. The food has been wonderful. They were in line price wise with other places of similar quality in the area.

Sunrise of Gurnee is going well. My father in law is there every single day. He said she is always dressed immaculately and well taken care of. I have not heard anything negative. My husband and I were there visiting for four days and the care was very good. Unfortunately the damage was done before she got here. She was over medicated. That was the source of the damage. She has gotten stronger since she has been here though. Sarah, the director is great. She is very hands on. They are doing a good job here.
