Sunrise Senior Living

My mother seems to like this place and has adjusted very well. This is a nice community with friendly residents. It took the staff a while to get my mother's TV and the doors to her room, but since then they have changed management and things are working out better. She loves the activities, she likes playing bingo and the ice cream socials. The meals are great and the food taste good. Everyone from the staff to the residents is very kind and I would recommend this community.

We toured two Sunrise locations, and ultimately ended up choosing one of them. This was one of the two we looked at, and the only reason we didn't choose them was location and availability. It was just as nice as the one we did move to.

The attitude of the employees is impressive, they are all friendly, and caring and seem happy to work there. The accommodations are nice, though some of the furniture could be updated. Parking is a little bit limited when the lot is full. The people have a command of what they do and they are somewhat knowledgeable. The food is pretty good, my loved one has even gained some weight back. Any issues are addressed and taken care of quickly. They are pretty good with their medication delivery. There could be a few more activities as far as in house in the afternoon, other than bingo, or T.V., or movies, some arts and crafts activities could be added. The activities person is wonderful, enthusiastic and upbeat. It impresses me that they are open to criticism and they don't get defensive.

Sunrise at FlatIrons made the process as uncomplicated as possible. They are good about getting everyone involved. The nursing staff, visiting Dr, etc, I get updates from everyone. Every time I'm there, they are involved in some activity.

Things are great for mother here at Sunrise we are very pleased with all the community has done for her. I would recommend it to family and friends it is a good place.

I have complete freedom to remain independent. I have enjoyed some of the MANY activities - am amazed at the frequency and variety, LOVE not having to cook, and the food is plentiful and good. People (both staff and residents) really care, without being overbearing. Parking is free and convenient.

Our mother came to Brighton Gardens with a chance of improving her health after her husband had died of cancer. That never happened and unfortunately my mothers health deteriorated rapidly -- at no fault of Brighton Gardens. The people couldn't have been more cordial and helpful to my Mom. They know how to deal with difficult situations and put my mind at ease knowing that Mom was getting the best help possible

I'd spent several months looking for an assisted living facility for a family member(because of circumstance there was a few month lag in between) I'd spoken to many places and looked at several too! I found Brighton Gardens of Saddle River to be very nice and clean. The people very friendly and helpful! Ultimately I found that this was the right choice for my family member!

We are really happy with everything they have done for us here at Brighton Grandens. They have been wonderful with all the help they have been giving us and helping out with my mother the staff is great. Great activities for the residents my mother loves going down for the sing a longs. The food is outstanding my brother and wife has gone and had dinner with her and they loved the food. Everything looks amazing I would recommend this community.

My father moved to Sunrise of Richmond for the time being and things are going well. He fits in pretty well there. He went on an outing today, he loves the activities they offer. Everybody there loves him. He loves the food, it is good. They do give a few selections to choose from to eat. Since he has been eating regularly, he has lost weight. They have an on site hair dresser so he is able to get his hair cut as needed and they also have someone come and cut his nails for him. This is a great place, the staff is great. The thing I love the most is it is all one level, feels like a home not a facility and is easy to get around. Therapy does go and work with him but my only complaint is there is no gym equipment for him to work on and to build strength. If he gets better we may move him to a more independent living place so he has more independence, but he is happy here for now. He is the youngest resident at 74, all others are over 80, and it would be nice to have more around his age, but we understand they cannot discriminate on age.

We're very satisfied with how things have turned out at Sunrise Senior Living of Dresher, we'd give them high marks across the board. It's a nice looking, clean place, and the people all seem friendly and professional.

I think they could be a little less pushy especially for those with financial discrepancies. It works for those that have a lot of moving parts, but I feel like they should they should take their time. The pressure, could be stopped. The facility and the people have been fine. The are very respectful on that part.

Once again a beautiful, tasty meal was served to the residents and their guests at the Valentine's Party on February 13. The dishes were varied and delicious. Thank you, Chef Floyd Stephen and your staff for such a nice party. As always, thank you to the love and care from all the staff and especially the "caregivers."

My cousin who is your resident receives excellent care from what I can surmise on my visits. Your nursing staff are so very competent. The PSW's assigned to her are patient and compassionate. While she may complain, that is a facet of her illness and the shock of being away from her home for the first time in 74 years, she does realize that she is safe and cared for.

I recently placed mother there and she likes it very much. It was difficult to convince her to move from her home but I think she will adjust well. The staff seems very friendly and attentive.

We have been very pleased so far with Sunrise of Cary. THey have a caring staff and my mother feels safe and happy.

The staff here is great. They are caring, attentive and engaged with the residents. The facility itself is very nice and it is always clean. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents active and having fun.

My mother will benefit from her life at Sunrise, in the opinion of my family and me. I was relieved she was admitted and am confident she will be engaged and have a better variety of activities and care that she needs in her condition.

We moved our mom into Brighton in December. She has initially started at a higher level of care and continues to improve. Mom is gaining strength, meeting new people and has had attentive and kind care givers. The facility has been wonderful in contacting me with questions or concerns as needed and has offered many resources to our family as we all go through this life-changing journey. We look forward to her continue to meet new people and to make all of Brighton her home and not just her apartment.

So far, things seem to be going well at Sunrise. The facility is nice, clean and smells fresh. The staff is nice and they seem to be competent at what they do. There are activities and the other residents are friendly.
