They have bingo and they have different games and socials during the week. They had a luau last week and that was good. They had people come in to perform. They had grandparent's day too. The food is okay. They offer low sodium options. I wish it wasn't as high, dollar-wise.

This might have been our top choice, cause it definitely had everything we were looking for. It would have been a little harder for us all to get to but it had every concievable amentiy that you could possibly want but the price was a factor there. I think they have a special program (garden/terrace something) that they suggested for us but we didn't know that there were extra fees involved and that kind of thing. I would bring my mom towards the end to these places and her dementia was getting to the point where she couldn't remember visiting this one. I feel if I had my druthers and it would have been just me making the decision I would have picked this one.

My mother-in-law and father-in-law were there for four years. They have since passed away but it was a wonderful place with a caring staff. It was excellent. I would recommend them any day of the week! The staff were really really friendly and they developed a relationship with all the residents there. When you walk in you felt like you were welcome. They took really good care of the residents.

That was beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous. I would have preferred that one but there were two major problems. First, it was too far for me. I needed it to be closer. Second, their beginning price was our other option's ending price so they were more expensive. But it was absolutely gorgeous!

I have already visited this property. I think it is too upscale for my mother. There is also a $12,500.00 buy in.

I wish it were a little less expesnive but things are going well. I like the way they rotate they're caregiver staff everyday so all of the staff gets to know everybody. They all know her and they all know me so when I walk in they all say hello to me or they make a comment like "she's having a good day" or "she had a bad day yesterday but today looks better". If you want to take a nap you take a nap in the common area unless you are feeling ill, you don't go to your room unless there's a good reason so you're a part of the community and that was a huge thing missing from her life. Here, she's with people all the time. They fold the napkins and stack the palcemats in the common area so if the residents offer to help they let them, it's a little bit of a challenging mind game for them in addition to all the other kinds of games and things they do 7 days a week, they're just as busy on Saturday and Sunday if not busier. There's a bistro area that's open 24 hours a day, they're always encouraging them to get a drink of water and they have a social hour everyday at 330 where they give them a snack.

I absolutely loved this facility. I saw nothing negative. Just have to figure out how to pay for it.

I like that there is consistent quality care and friendliness by all staff members. The place smells fresh and I like how they integrate all different levels of types of guests. They have younger more able people and then older, less mobile people and I like how they can all interact. I think it's inspiring for all of them. The location is good. They're walking distance to shopping and food and it's not on a busy street like some of the other ones I looked at. They're always helpful with special requests. Their menu is always changing in their restaurant.

Gorgeous facilities...very warm and inviting atmosphere. They way they have is decorated inside and out - it feels like a 'home' (and a very huge and nice home to boot!)

Nice and clean Close to house. Has tub for baths.

My mother-in-law fell while she was therea and layed on the floor most of the night. She's currently in rehab because of that. On the whole, I'm very pleased with the facility. The people are generally caring. The staff seem to take great interest in their clients. I would certianly recommend family members to go take a look at the facility and talk to the staff there. I'll be glad when my mother-in-law can get back to Solana and back to her routine.

Facility is spotless. All levels of care provided.

talked with activities director, saw several rooms , 2 bdrm seemed good, spacious rooms for residents upstairs for activities outside of their room. Not sure of pricing will have to follow up with costs etc...

Mom & I met w/ Susan on 8/29. Excellent facility. Saw 2 & 1 br units. Cost is higher. May be 'too institutional' for Mom at this point. 2nd option to Hertlin Place.

They had sofas on all the floors where we could sit with them and have a little privacy. They take them for rides. Even though my sister was on the alzheimer's floor she would go everywhere with them. They take them shopping, to the drug store, to church on sunday, book stores. It was just too expenive. If I could have afforded to keep her there I would have. It was always full of flowers and full of light.

I'm very satisfied with everything. I chose it because first, they do have alzheimers treatment there, second, it's close to my sister and easy for me to get to and third, if my mom needs some help we can move her to assisted living and we can move my father into alzheimers down the road if he needs it and we won't have to make another move. They're getting older and everything new is another problem. They're used to the people, they're used to the food and its really good. I've eaten there a couple of times but the one thing my mom complains about is that they don't serve neough veggies, but my moms a veggie freak. It's very well prepared, its always hot, the people that serve are awesome, actually, the whole staff is awesome. They have a bunch of activities but my parents don't like to do to much, but everyday they have an activity or a social, they're always busy.

My parents are participating in activites and that's very good because before they were very isolated, they were ready to go to a place like this. I was the one to do it, both of them use walkers so I had to look at places and it got to the point where I was desperate and I didn't see anything that really resonated with me. When I got here it felt right, I literally had tears in my eyes. It's a very pleasant environment, very homie and there's lots of activites for people to get involved in. They know people by name, they know me by name and it's like you're apart of a family. It's always kind of distrupting when you're leaving what's familiar to you, it may have taken my father longer but he's found people that have similar interests and i got so excited when he told me my mom was going out to lunch with some ladies.

They were incredibly wonderful! They're expensive but they're worth what you pay. My mother-in-law passed away too soon to really get involved in the activities but from what we saw they were doing every day, they were good. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking. They were flexible and gave us multiple options for room size. They couldn't have been better to us. We have a very large family and they accommodated not just my mom with first class service but anyone and everyone that came to visit her. One day they were supposed to have cookies and when we got there they were all gone. My kids were so upset and they put in another batch just for my kids. They even did their laundry! Some of those girls came in on their day off to see my mother. They were unbelieveably kind to us! It was like a family.

My father has been at Sunrise in Lynnfield since March, 2013. It has been a great experience. The staff, from the receptionist to the managers to the nurses to the kitchen staff are wonderful. It is a caring environment where they make a point of making residents and visitors feel welcome. The staff truly understands the issues of the elderly and they administer care and direction in a very supportive way.

I think the place is phenomenal. It's a friendly and wonderful community. At first my mother was extremely apprehensive about going there and it took her a few weeks to settle in but now she loves it. She loves the activities like bingo and bunco and they take them on field trips. My mother has gone on several of those. She's happy, she's smiling, and she's sociable which she was not before Sunrise.
