Sunrise Senior Living

She likes the place. While she was there she has gotten sick a few times and things that did not happen at other places. The one issue I have is that they expect way too much of the staff. They are responsible not only for the residents but they have to do the meal service. Someone may have to wait for service because the staff are waiting on tables. It's not a long wait, but it's a wait. I don't think they are understaffed, just stretched a little thin. The staff is very caring they are very nice people they are very responsive. This is more of a corporate entity and the issue seems to be a corporate one. They only have a nurse until 5 and then a med tech comes in, but they seem very responsive. They could do more with the activities department. They remember your name, and get to know you. It's a good facility I would just like to see them have a little more help.

We needed to find a place for my brother in a hurry and after some research, to include some guidance from " A Place For Mom" we decided to try Sunrise Senior Living at Mill Basin to see how they would work out. The facility looks like a lovely Victorian Mansion on the outside.We were able to get him a modest studio with a lovely view. He has laundry service and room cleaning once a week. The food I am told is good with many choices. Thus far after 2 1/2 months my brother is feeling much better and is quite content. He enjoys taking walks along the water, located on the facility grounds.The staff is caring and easy to communicate with. His medications are monitored and he has assistance with his special needs, both for an additional charge. There are many pleasant activities available for the residents if they choose to participate as well as occasional outings if they choose to go. Thus far, Sunrise has exceeded our expectations.

We're very impressed with Sunrise so far. The care on the floor is 24/7, and they have a very good caregiver to resident ratio. It was very clean, and the staff have all been very friendly and helpful. The food is good, as well. They had an available room that was the size that we wanted, and the price was a bit less expensive than other similar options that we looked at. So far we're very happy with their service.

Love the place, they are great! There aren't as many activities as the last place she was in. They take very good care of her, at the last place she would have the same clothes two or three days in a row. They cut her nails and paint them and her hair is nice. When you walk in you don't see any activity going on, maybe they are all in the back where the art room is. The reminicing department seems to be very good with keeping the residents busy and engaged. If your loved one needs to be taken care of and if you have the money I recommend the Sunrise.

I really wanted to find somewhere high end for my Dad, and I was willing to pay for it, and so far I am very happy with Sunrise of Lynnfield. We really did a lot of research, we wanted somewhere that was a "community", somewhere to keep him active and social. Sunrise has all sorts of activities, day trips, events, etc, which is great. It's a beautiful, clean facility, and the staff are amazing, I'd give them 7 of 5 if I could! They keep the families up to date with a monthly care report card, which I thought is a nice touch. It's been a great experience, and Dad is really happy here.

We toured quite a few locations looking for options for my brother and sister, and Sunrise was what we picked in the end. They're doing a great job with everything and my brother and sister seem to be enjoying it there.

I like it a lot. The staff is wonderful. The facility is great, no complaints. They have the option of physical therapy right there. The people are lovely. The food is a little iffy sometimes but overall I would say it's great!.

My mother-in-law is settling in great here. It's a very nice community, the staff are friendly and it is very clean. They do have a wide variety of activities, but I wasn't as impressed with them compared to a different community that my father is it. The do provide different sorts of care, but they charge for every little thing, it would be nice to at least get a basic check-in at no charge, some small amount of service.

So far they've been great, and Mom is enjoying it. It's got a very homey feel, more personal and less like a "facility". We liked that there were a lot of smaller rooms for socializing rather than one big gathering room like some communities we saw had. The staff are great, I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! They also have plenty of activities, and it is in a quiet enough area of town that Mom can take walks, like she likes to do.

So far we are very happy with Sunrise. One thing that struck me when I visited was how clean it was! It's also very easy for us to get to, which was a big plus. The staff are very very friend and caring, and Mom seems to be doing great now that she is settling in. The food also looked good, when I've visited!

We are extremely happy. They have been extremely helpful, if we've had any questions they have been wonderfully helpful and addressed them right away. I don't have any complaints.

Sunrise is great! Everytime I go there the staff is very friendly. My aunt is happy and really does speak very favorably and highly about them across the board. I do beleive Sunrise is doing everything they said they would do and I am very happy. Our needs are being met and they do have a lot of activities to do. My aunt goes down for breakfast and doesn't go back up until dinner. It feels like you are walking into the lobby of a busy hotel. Angie was the best! She was a really big part of why we chose them.

It's been so much better than the place he was before. The staff is wonderful the ratio of staff to patients is very good. Overall we've been pretty happy and he has improved since moving here.

We've had nothing but good experiences with this community. It's a very beautiful place, with a pleasant atmosphere.The staff are wonderful, they are very friendly and treat the residents like family. They have always called me immediately if there's been any issues, I really like how they keep the family members involved. My Dad is a very picky eater, and they worked hard to with me to figure out a menu for him that he enjoyed, and he is doing so much better now that he is eating well. For the price they are one of the best!

We were very happy with the community. We loved the decor, and the staff were fantastic, very attentive and caring, they were available to help my sister day and night. We also heard the food was good, although we did not get a chance to try it ourselves. The only complaint I have is that I've had some trouble getting in touch with the billing or accounts receivable department when I wanted to check the status of a payment.

I was very, very satisfied. They kept my brother very clean he was always clean and dressed when his friend came to visit. They provided pretty close to 24 hour care. They had very good care services, and would bring his medicine to him and wouldn't leave him alone once he was in his chair since he was prone to falling. They did offer activities, but he didn't really participate. Janine kept calling me and was always so pleasant. When it came time to find a place, I remembered that.

It's been great so far! The place is outstanding, very homey the grounds are beautiful, but inside it's very cool because it is set like a gigantic living room and they have a kitchen, and when you are sitting at the kitchen table they put a window there so it feels as if you are looking out the window at home but you are looking at the common area of the community. They call us for anything that goes on, if she's not feeling well they call us right away sometimes they bang their arms and they don't even know it and they get a little swelling and they call us immediately. The dining area looks like a restaurant. They could be a little less expensive. They have more attendents per patients than the last place. It looks like a resort.

I really can't think of anything negative to say about them! The staff in particular are great, they're very friendly and helpful. One thing that I really liked was how accommodating they are with the food, when I visited I saw them making different things for residents who didn't like that nights selections. They also helped set up the phone and cable for the room, which was a big relief for me. Another thing I like is that the residents are more active and mobile than some of the communities I visited, which was a better environment for my Mom, who is more active herself.

Sunrise is a place I would consider. There was a lot of activity as soon as you walked in the door. They take pets also. I had a tour with Jason

My Mom is really happy here, and seems to be doing much better since she moved in! There are so many activities and things to do that I can only seem to get ahold of her right before breakfast or bed, and that is just what I wanted for her. The rooms are bright and sunny, and the community is homey and easy to navigate I also like that there are many different visiting physicians and physical therapy services, so a lot of options there. It is a bit expensive, and the food could be better, but those seem to be common complaints for senior living in general.
