Sunrise Senior Living

They are fabulous and have been very accommodating. They get a six out of five if you ask me! The staff is friendly and they are clean. They are just wonderful! I can't think of a bad thing to say about them!

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for our loved one. Sunrise was a very nice looking community, and was one of the options we were seriously considering for our loved one. We ended up choosing another location that was a bit more focused on dementia care.

She is very happy. Some things get charged on a daily basis that aren't used on a daily basis. If we bring something to their attention they are quick to rectify the situation. She loves the food, she thinks it's a five star restaurant for every meal. There isn't really anything off hand I can think of that can be improved. They are well maintained.

We needed to find a new assisted living facility for our Mom, who needed a higher level of care. Tammy Singer from 'A Place For Mom' recommended we carefully consider Sunrise Senior Living. We made an appointment with Maria and Tasha from Sunrise of North Lynbrook, toured the facility and decided this is where Mom belongs. Maria and Tasha took care of all the administrative details and we were able to move Mom in within a week. When we visit, Mom is always with other seniors, either watching a movie, being entertained by a musician or playing a game. No matter what direction you turn, there is always staff. You are greeted when you enter the facility, and there are staff members assisting residents. Mom is happy at Sunrise of North Lynbrook. She has a wonderful suite mate, the food is good, and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. My siblings and I don't worry about Mom, as we know she is in good hands at Sunrise of North Lynbrook.

Sunrise of Naperville North is a very friendly, clean and attentive home. When mom moved there she did not understand why she could not return to her own home after coming out of the hospital. The staff at sunrise was very good about this transition and helped the family understand how they could best support this change. Services are customized to the need of your parent and you are charge accordingly. When your parent needs a lot of care this is not cheep. However, the home scales the services up and down as needed. The staff knows everyone by name and the food is good.

They are very, very tidy, the grounds, the rooms, and regular maintenece too, not only the common areas but the residents rooms as well. The staff is wonderful and very friendly, they are one of the big reasons why I chose them. There is something going on everyday. They have a combination of physical activities as well as trivia games. The food would be a 4.5, she seems to eat pretty well. I think there is a really detailed contracting process to explain everything, it would be nice if it was more clear of what is included in the care packages up front. It's important to go at a couple different times day and really look around and get a feel for the level of the residents to make sure your loved ones will fit in.

Really nice facility. It was like being in a family-like atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the people there looked satisfied. When asked how is the food? one resident replied 'its very good' which is important to my mother. It had a nice gardening area which is utilized by the residents.

They have a chef that has been there 16 years, and the soux chef has been there something like 13 years, so the longevity of the employees speaks volumes, and the food is really good. I like their ambassador program, where some of the older residents show the newer ones around. I also like that it's pretty small, with only about a hundred people so they are a little more personal.

I thought Sunrise was a wonderful place and the people were great. Unfortunately, my loved one was only able to stay there for one week when a medical emergency caused him to go to the hospital. After the hospital stay, his needs were more than could be met by the staff at Sunrise. However, I would highly recommend Sunrise to anyone looking for an assisted-living facility where people truly care for you and your family!

We only used them for a short time, but they were wonderful to work with, I would give them a 6 out of 5 if I could! The care situation for my loved one was somewhat unusual for them, but they were more than happy to work with us and find a solution that worked out well for everyone, which I really appreciated.

The memory care floor is excellent and individualized. I got very good individualized information and help.

The staff and community is a dream come true. Pam and the staff at Sunrise listened and gave us the perfect solution we needed for our 89 year old mother. They treat our loved one with respect and dignity. She has a safe, independent, caring and beautiful new home. We all have a peace of mind. Thank you.

We didn't really hear about the community fee until we were just about ready to sign. Sometimes the calendar or what they have scheduled changes. I like the manager he will keep me informed of whats going on, and how she is doing. I like that they pour coffee and tea for the residents, and are able to kind of check in with them in a discreet way, but will be able to notice if anything is off. They have an older age group than I would have hoped for.

Too much money and price will increase as she changes

We have just moved our loved one to Sunrise and she loves it! One of the things that influenced our decision to suggest that she live there is the genuine caring communicated by the staff. We are so happy that she is finding Cresskill an interesting and lovely place to live.

Overall they do a great job here! My loved one is in the memory care unit, and all of the staff there are very friendly and professional. They provide excellent care, and are always prompt about notifying me about any issues or changes in behavior. They were also helpful in helping us find a new physician, since unfortunately the person my loved one had been using for years did not make house calls to this facility. One area I'd like to see them improve on are the activities for the memory care patients. I understand it can be difficult to find activities that are appropriate for the wide range of memory care patients they work with, but my loved ones says she spends a lot of time just sitting around watching TV.

I would give the food a four. The transportation doesn't accommodate a wheelchair, that was a little unexpected. It's a nice place. I have heard people whose parents were there say they loved it. When I chose it I went with my gut and I am so glad I did.

They do a great job here! The staff are all amazing friendly, and do a wonderful job caring for the residents. They really get to know everyone on a personal level, and you can tell they think of it more than just work. The facility itself is always very clean and well kept, and we're more than happy with the care and the activities provided.

So far they're doing a great job here, it's been a very good place for my loved one. It's a beautiful facility, and it is always well kept and clean. Everyone who has gone to visit her always remarks on how lovely the place is. My aunt has really enjoyed all of the choices she has when it comes to meals and activities. The employees have all be very friendly and helpful, and they really went out of their way to help her transition to this new environment and get her settled in.

This was a community we looked into when looking into options for our loved one. This was a very nice looking facility, and the staff were all very friendly and professional. We eventually decided that Mom was not in need of assisted living care at this point, but if she was this would probably be the facility we choose for her.
