Bedford Court staff made my mom's transition an easy experience. ALL of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We made requests to have changes to meet my mom's needs such as lowering the mailbox and shelving in her closets and everything was done prior to her arrival. The dining area is lovely and inviting. My mom likes the food and the variety of choices! She's indicated that they don't salt the food but let you add to your taste and needs, which is great! There are plenty of activities going on and if your favorite isn't there, you can sign up and invite others to play. My mother loved meeting all of the directors of each department such as engineering, activities, housekeeping, etc. who came up individually in ten minute intervals to meet and greet Mom and explain the services available to her. As Mom has met the residents who have been here from 4 months to 10+ years, they have all expressed how happy they are with their choice to live in Bedford Court. My mom also loves the fact that having a strip-shopping mall just a short walking distance, even with her walker, to the post office, bank, Giant, and other stores to browse makes her feel independent without driving. But Bedford Court does offer their van to take its residence anywhere within a five mile radius. At Bedford Court doctors such as a dermatologist, podiatrist, etc. are available in the building with office appointments. Also a bank, hair stylist, and manicurist are also available in the building on certain days. Plus, services such as weekly removal and washing of towels and sheets, biweekly apartment cleaning, maintenance of heating/air conditioning and appliances are all included in living there. Plus, the lifeline necklace or push buttons in the apartment make me feel that someone is always there if my m needs them. This too, is included as a resident!

To date, we have been very pleased with the care our mom has been getting at Sunrise of Fort Worth. Our family members are impressed by the landscaping when they first arrive on the premises. Also, the size of the community is what we were looking for when we started looking for a place for mom. Sunrise was the first community toured and after touring many communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area none compared to Sunrise for our mom. The people in charge of caring for mom are are always loving toward her and when we ask her if she needs anything she says no that she is being very well taken care of. She also comments that they feed her well and she seems to enjoy all they serve her. Mom has always enjoyed working in the yard and taking care of her flowers. Now she sits in her room looking out her window enjoying the beautiful landscaping at Sunrise. We are very fortunate that mom has been in good health all her life and continues to require little medical attention. What little medical attention she requires, Sunrise is seeing that she gets it. Sunrise is truly a place for mom.

It's been a wonderful experience. It was a little tough waiting to get in, but once we were there, it's been super. It was in a good location for us. The foliage was very pleasant and it had a sunny, positive atmosphere. The facilities are outstanding. The staff, everyone, they incorporate him into all the activities. They are just wonderful!

The value depends on what the person individually needs, but they evaluate you on a monthly basis, if you get better, and need less, the price can come down, I think it's a great value. They had a memorial day entertainment, a singer, they had a barbecue set up in the courtyard, and for the residents that needed help, they had the staff waiting on them. They are going on a trip to Atlantic City, you have to have your own money. The food is terrific, the burgers are delicious, you have a menu and alternate menu, it's not like being in the cafeteria, it's like going to a restaurant. I believe it's very nice. I don't have any complaints at all. They do the laundry once a week. The people are great.

The Memory Care Floor is clean, food is terrific and the staff are friendly. My mother is enjoying the activities and the sun deck.

I liked this one best, but it is expensive. Great tour and enjoyed lunch with residents.

Warm, nurturing staff. Everyone is friendly and welcoming which speaks volumes about how happy the staff is so you know the residents will be treated well. True team mentality so everyone helps and you never hear..."I'll get your aide" or "I'm not your aide". The facility is clean and open windows and fresh air are encouraged. Food is fresh, served hot, and has lots of variety. Medical staff is caring and on top of what the individual resident needs. Activities to keep the residents minds and bodies active are none stop. Sunrise keeps the resident's enjoying a higher quality of life.

It was a great experience from start to finish. My mother (age 90) only needed respite care while I was out of the country. I really liked it when I first visited so I brought my mother. She agreed it was very nice so we started the paperwork to get her accepted. Everyone was so helpful & friendly. The residents seemed happy & healthy which spoke volumes. My mother stayed for 19 days & really enjoyed her time there. When I picked her up she looked great. She has all good things to say about Sunrise of Fort Worth. We both do.

I felt like they were very caring and honest with us. As our loved one was only there for 20 days they even refunded us money. They were extremely honest and caring. The day my loved one passed they were so caring and kind. It was just the best experience it could be.

We love this place for my mother. It was a very easy transition for her. The staff are so kind, caring, loving and helpful. My mom stays very busy with all the great activites they have. We highly recommend it.

Great location and facility.

Good location, and a place where we felt comfort in knowing the [removed] ratio is determined by care level vs. number of residents needing care. We liked the pets on site & that he could be in a companionship room. The cost is higher than the others.

Though we only have 2 months experience here (and will be moving my relative out soon to a location closer to us), we have to say that we have been very impressed with the care that she has been given. From the administrator, to the nurses, to the PT, to the dining room help, to those cleaning the rooms, we have been more than pleased with the personal care and concern we have seen. And we have often seen this care towards us also, the ones making the hard decisions and going down a new path with our elderly. They have listened and sympathized and shared their wisdom with us.

Overall it's going well. They keep the community clean and the staff is friendly. I am having a little bit of an issue getting information, and a return call, so their response has been slow, almost a month. We haven't had any complaints about food or laundry. I can't think of anything else that could be improved or done better, except getting back to me faster.

I can't explain why- but this was my favorite property that I toured. I love that their assisted living apartments have balconies or patios plus doorbells- very nice touch! Also, Buttercup (facility dog) is nice!

I love everything about Sunrise, especially how warm and hospitable the staff is. Amy Burfitt led the tour, and she was just wonderful. She was very informative and was able to answer all of my questions. She is actually at Sunrise of La Jolla now, but that isn't a deterrent from La Costa. The building is clean and well-kept, the care services offered are top-notch, and they offer lots of great activities. I highly recommend it!

Great tour with Sarah. I learned a lot! It's close to church, so we can bring him there on Sundays. Clean, friendly staff. Great activities, encourage visitors and family involvement.... Also went to Sunrise Carmichael. Very noisy in dining area but it was dinner time. Especially dog. Other pets around too. (I'd have to check with R. If he likes pets around.) They have 3 separate 'communities. Close to work for breaks..

Beautiful settings; on Innova Fairfax grounds; very pleasant surrounding. Presentation - entrance - very inviting; beautiful entrance. Interior - just what we were looking for but have fear of renovations; carpet I had envisioned has recently been replaced with neutral beige carpet. It is nice but nothing special. This place is all about special and for the price it should have more elegance that neutral standard budget cutting shortcuts. Food - Top notch! Met Chef Eric; most food made from scratch; resident faces mostly with smiles and dinning room full. Nice to see. Veronica - reception - 1st impression - WONDERFUL! Valerie - informative, pleasant, appears to have priorities in order - residents vice corporation. Would like to learn more about upcoming renovations.

I’d give the community a five overall. We are happy with the cleanliness of the community. It’s a good experience.
