Sunrise Senior Living

Sunrise made the last year of my husband's life so enjoyable. They treated him like a caring family. There were so many activities that he really enjoyed. The best is how all residents would go to eat in a restaurant style room and there was a menu The food was excellent. I am so glad I could afford this wonderful place. Amazing staff, great place. Overall highly recommend...[name removed] and [name removed]in memory care we're caring and so kind. My mom loved them! Food was good too, nutritional meals. Absolutely recommend. It's clean, well run, lots of activities, hair salon, nails done and very caring staff in all areas

This is the best place I have ever seen. All the folks working here and I do mean all the folks are friendly and knowledgeable. The place is kept super clean without that antiseptic smell. The food while not gourmet is still seasoned good and cooked to perfection. I made a joke yesterday which was a joke but true. I said did someone pass out happy pills cause all the employees are so friendly. This is the model of what senior living should be. This place finally makes me happy I am a senior citizen. Thank you for introducing me to it. All the staff are friendly. I have family members that are not as nice as the staff here. The assortment of activities is phenomenal. The place is kept clean and bright. The cost is not outrageous when you compare it to what you are getting. My biggest compliment is they don't make you feel old and worthless.

My mother moved in about a month ago. She is happy with her apartment (studio), she says the food is hot or miss but she just loves the dining experience. She's like a new woman there - she's made friends quickly, she says people are happy there! The staff has treated her well. She's already signed up for and is taking classes at the senior center across the street and at the library which is with in walking distance. She says there's always something going on which makes her happy. She needed to be around people her age and also needed folks checking up on her from time to time, amd she gets that at Greeley Place. It's affordable on her teacher's retirement too - she's not blowing her whole paycheck on rent there. She is discovering that Greeley is a really cool place to live.

The facility was very clean and modern/updated and the staff was very friendly.

It feels like home. I would recommend to others.

I have suggested several people move here, and I haven’t regretted it once. This is the only assisted living you want in Wayland to move your loved one to. From the administration staff to the CNA’s I trust them deeply and thankful for everything they do

The staff is super friendly and easy to get in touch with. The dining facilities are so cute and my Daddy loves the food. We had to move my mother in to a room with him pretty suddenly and the staff handled the entire thing. Moved all the furniture and everything.

The facility is first-rate, and all the staff we interacted with were very cordial and competent. But regarding "quality of care" it came as a surprise that the in-house medical staff was not equipped to do much more than administer Rx meds. Everything else required calling in someone else or a trip to the hospital. On our initial tour we were assured that Sunrise could handle everything at every stage, from basic elderly health care to hospice.

The place was very comfortable and my husband was happy. But his condition deteriorated very rapidly. It was a struggle to get the care staff to understand and adapt accordingly.

They really have a dream team at Sunrise San Mateo. Cheerful, present, welcoming. My sister was visiting from the east coast and they knew her name and resident, like within 3 hours. They make a great, positive effort.

Everything at Sunrise was great. My dad wants to go there when it's his turn. Facility was the least "clinical" of the options we looked at. It felt more like home with the way it was appointed. Staff was always attentive and kind. Very responsive when medical intervention was required. Worked with us to transition to hospice care when needed to get specific pieces of equipment covered under Medicare than her long term insurance policy.

My mother spent a year at Bay Village. She has dementia, and had just come off an especially difficult cancer treatment and a feeding tube. The staff did an amazing job helping her try to eat by mouth again (in the memory care side) and her health allowed her to move to the assisted living side. She made good friends and enjoyed the happy hours and playing the grand piano. The facility is beautiful and clean. Many residents have spent several years there. The administrators work hard to keep the families accommodated and happy. We were grateful to the staff for making this feel like home for our Mom.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Sunrise of Buckhead. The staff have been very caring and supportive!

My dad entere the higher functioning memory care section and later moved to the lower functioning section. Having TWO levels of memory care was ideal for my dad. It was great that one person was in charge of both sections—she was very caring, competent and kind. I feel SO blessed that we visited Sunrise and that there was an opening for my father—we didn’t have but a few days to decide on a place. The care at Sunrise was all I could have asked for and I felt the cost was appropriate—not overpriced. Sunrise staff was always very responsive, helpful and respectful. Highly recommended! (I had an in-law at two different facilities and my father at one other—-all three rated from adequate to dismal)

1. Overall experience was very good -- to excellent 2. Cleanliness was superb. 3. Friendliness -- stellar and importantly, 4) Quality of care was excellent 5) The administrative staff were helpful -- the front desk people were stellar. 6) Food -- fine. Nothing fancy but good choices and reliable. 7) Activities -- we didn't use these options but there were many per day-- the local insider daily paper was very informative and fun. 8) Value -- high... The caring and highly invested staff from cleaners to the medical team made being there excellent.

We've really liked Huntcliff. The staff is friendly and helpful. The building is nice with lots of spaces to sit outside of the rooms. My mom is in reminiscence care which is on the top floor, much better than being in a basement or locked side wing. It's more expensive than we wanted to pay, but we toured places that cost more and were not as nice. After 1 year of care, we're still happy there

You can truly tell the staff know their residents well. When I toured this community it was clear the residents are happy and well cared for. While it’s not time for me to move into assisted living yet, I feel confident saying this will be my top choice when it is time.

We were in search of a facility that provides Memory Care/Assisted living services for our Mother. She has been struggling with mobility and is in need of physical therapy. To be honest; We were unsure that we would find a facility that could address all of her dietary and medical concerns. I was able to schedule a tour with [name removed] on the same day that I initially called. Walking into Sunrise felt like entering a Retreat resort. This facility has everything!!!!!! Quite frankly we should have looked into care at this facility 18 months ago.

When the resident presses their button for help, someone comes within 5 minutes or sooner. Any time we've had a question or concern it's been handled right away.
