I can't say enough about the loving, attentive staff that cared for my mom for the 5 months she resided at Brighton Gardens. Unfortunately, my mother's health was declining rapidly when she moved in, and we agreed with her care providers that she would be better served in the Alzheimer's unit where the staff patient relationship is more personalized. The staff members who cared for her in both wings were thoughtful and knowledgeable, and they were always available to answer our questions as we chartered this new territory as a family. They were kind beyond words, and they continually sought to improve our mom's quality of life. Staff members took the time to help me and my siblings support our mother from the start to the end of her life and we are forever appreciative and grateful. Thank you so much to everyone at BG!

It's been wonderful. It's been great. He is totally happy there. Everything we experienced was wonderful. We knew they had a good reputation, and it was in an ideal location. It's been a good experience.

Outstanding staff and administration. Everyone very helpful and concerned about residents well being. There is a good esprir de corps about the place where others places we visited (and lived) had polluted admin environments. Only concern: for a place that allows pets, one would think that there would be some pet care options (for a fee, of course) for those physically unable to do some of the basics, such as litter box cleaning. Otherwise, we are thrilled and very comforted by the care our folks are receiving.

Things are going great since moving my Mom to Sunrise Senior Living. She is adjusting as well as can be expected. This community is great, I would definitely recommend this place. Everybody I have come across there has been great and my mom likes the staff as well, they keep an eye on her. Any time I have gone to visit they have always been very friendly. Everytime I'm there, they are doing something: playing bingo, cards, doing the ladys' nails, something is going on. She is on the third floor so I have to go through the first floor and they are always doing activities down there as well, it is very active. I have eaten the food and it's not gourmet but my mom likes it and that is what is important. There is a big outside open porch area for the residents to enjoy the sun when the weather is warm.

My mother has adjusted amazingly to community she really loves it! She is doing very well at Brighton Gradens it is a very nice place to move to. It is a very clean looking community never had any concerns with that and it looks super nice on top of that. The has been really helpful with everything they really helped my mother adjust well with the move there. She has made new friends and even tried some new activities and that is very nice for her. They have been very accommodating with everything we are really happy with this community.

My sister has dementia and she was in another facility in another state and we were not happy with her care. She was moved to Long Island and is presently in Sunrise in Glen Cove. The difference in her care is unbelievable. She is always clean, the staff is friendly, and we feel very comfortable leaving her there. My sister is not an easy resident to care for and the staff never complains to us and everybody treats her with respect. Our family is very pleased with this facility.

I really like this place. The layout is easy to navigate and all one level. Lovely courtyard in center for walking or sitting. Residents look nicely groomed. Staff seems friendly

The staff at Sunrise on Vernier is truly caring. They are kind, competent, and attentive. From day one, I knew that my dad was in good hands. I was really worried about having to put him in a facility, but I have no regrets. He is receiving the best care possible, short of actually being at home. I would highly recommend Sunrise to anyone looking for a place for their loved one to call home when the demands imposed by their condition make staying at home impossible.

Sunrise of Mill Basin services are excellent. My mother is in a safe, caring, and friendly environment. She is now enjoying a significantly better quality of life than she had in her home. The associated medical care was instrumental in discovering a potentially fatal health problem, Attention to my mother's condition allowed for immediate action to rectify her condition. My mother is comfortable and tells her friends how happy she is now living at Sunrise of Mill Basin.

Our mom has received exceptionally friendly, highly personal service in the beautiful environment which Sunrise provides. The peace of mind in knowing that all her needs are met in such a caring, respectful, lovely senior living community is invaluable. The staff are all compassionate and thoughtful, dedicated, wonderful people and our family feels truly blessed to be part of such a caring community.

Very clean. Everyone was very friendly. Clients in the memory care unit were actively engaged and they were just getting ready to go out for lunch. We were very impressed

Our family member has been at Sunrise of Naperville on Chicago Avenue for two weeks now. She moved there following a hospital stay. We visited Sunrise on a Tuesday and worked with Chris, Director of Sales, who was able to assist us and facilitate move in that Saturday. When we arrived at Sunrise, we were greeted by the concierge and a friendly dog. Our loved one really likes dogs, so this was a big hit. There is a great team effort that makes this community very welcoming and comfortable. After just two weeks, we would definitely recommend this community.

Things are going very well. We are really happy with it. It is a nice place for her. The only thing that we were disappointed with was the price. We were hoping to find something that was considerably less. That probably has to do with her level of care. The food is good and she is happy there. Maybe having other choices would have been nice as far as A Place For Mom referring us. All three choices provided were Sunrise, but it is a lovely place.

I just went to tour the community and I really hate that I didn't go back but I want to maintain my independence as long as I can. When they picked me up for a tour they sent a limo! I felt like a big shot! Since my friend is a resident of the community I was able to enjoy a meal with him while on my tour which was nice. The staff was very pleasant and when I am ready that will be the place for me.

Absolutely lovely environment with great outdoor space probably not suitable for my Mom due to her injuries.

The care at the level we needed was not available everywhere, and Sunrise has done a great job. The attitudes of the staff are wonderful making every day so much more pleasant. The food is great. I believe we picked the best place for us.

I have no complaints about Sunrise. They have been wonderful and accommodating my mother and all her needs. Everything has been going perfect,the staff is very friendly and nice no complaints there. The community is really nice and clean I haven't had any concern regarding that. It's a very nice place to go when you get to that point when need assistance. My mother has adjusted well and have not complained about anything there. They have everything there to help and make senior's comfortable there.

There aren't enough stars for the staff at Huntcliff Summitt. We moved my father to the facility following a hospitalization in NC. He has Parkinson's as well as dementia. Managing his conditions is a challenge, to say the least. Huntcliff has accommodated his needs in every way possible. Erin, took time from her Christmas holiday with family to perform an initial evaluation of my father in the hospital prior to his discharge. The on-call physician, Dr. Figiel, visited Huntcliff upon our request and performed a careful and thorough evaluation of my father's mental status. His nurse practitioner subsequently picked up on a serious error in my father's medication (made during his previous hospitalization) and made adjustments. Staff made us immediately aware of any changes in my father's behavior. Every employee from the front desk, to the med techs, to the care managers were warm, friendly, and accommodating. Ashley, in memory care has been my father's advocate, even during his more difficult periods. I have always felt that they have his best interests at heart. I highly recommend this facility.

Things are going wonderful. Things have worked out very well. It has been a very positive experience and things are working out great. So far, we do not have any problems or complaints with Sunrise.

My Aunt moved into Sunrise after havign an accident that caused her to need more care. Sunrise has been wonderful! They are very individualized in their care plans and the staff is very friendly.
