Sunrise Senior Living

We found Brighton Gardens staff personable, caring and transparent in customer relations. The environment is cheerful, clean and comfortable. We chose Brighton Gardens for our mom based on their focus on honoring individual client preferences. We see this reflected consistently, as her choices are always honored. Brighton Gardens was our first choice in making comparisons for overall care, with factors such as living space, response time and meal options, being critical components for us. We are very pleased with our decision to move mom to Brighton Gardens.

We spoke with Toni on a few occasions as we were looking into places. She was on the ball and called me often. Some places just never followed up with us, but Toni stayed in contact. They were a little more upscale of a place than was a good fit for us, but when we let Toni know we had gone with another place, she was gracious and happy for us, and even reassured us that we would be in good hands.

So far it's very nice. So far no complaints about food or staff or anything. They have been pretty pleasant. We chose it because of the ones we looked at it was the nicest.

We're very happy with Brighton Gardens, they're an excellent facility! The staff here is wonderful. They're friendly, professional, and from the people we asked most of them are long time employees that are happy with the work they do! The facility itself is clean and well kept, and even our loved one who is somewhat of a neat freak is happy with it. It's a nice place, and definitely worth a look if you're looking into care in the area!

My dad's experience has been great at Sunrise. They were ready for him with relatively short notice and they took very good care of him while he was there. Dad still felt like he had his independence, but he had the confidence of knowing help was available if he needed it. Sunrise was a very clean facility and the food was good as well.

My mom has only been a resident for around a month, but I feel that the Sunrise Has been a fantastic place for mom. The staff is very friendly and attentive to mom's needs. The residence is always clean. They have activities ever day, which is a huge plus in keeping mom socially engaged with the other residents. The neighborhoods are a great place for our family to gather when we go to visit. The care givers are top notch! I feel it's a great value for the care my mom has been receiving.

When we went there to visit on time I saw all these people moving around, wheeling up here and moving down there. The mobility that the residents had was amazing. They all seemed happy to be there.

They do a great job here. The staff is compassionate and friendly. The facility is always clean and well maintained and the residents here seem to be very happy. Overall, this has been a very good experience.

They think they do a sufficient job there. Their very attentive with their residents and they have it well under control. I think they are doing a great job here.

This is the place for Moms! All moms love it here and it is the place for everyones mother to be safe and happy.

Nice place

Things are going fine. The staff does a very good job there. So far, we do not have any complaints.

We recently settled Mary [removed] (mother/mother-in-law) in as one of your newest residents at Sunrise at Woodcliff Lake. The words that first come to mind are warm and welcoming. Both in regards to the staff and the physical setting. Julie [removed] was incredible. Dealing with a very narrow time limit. (10 days which included two weekends plus the Christmas holiday. ....which brought it down to less than four days) she put it all together seamlessly. Amazing. Christine (activities, etc) was also there at every turn. Answering any question and getting Mary involved with the life of Woodcliff immediately. Bob from maintenance was on the spot hanging pictures and helping with phone installation. The entire experience was so comforting at a difficult time. There aren't adequate words to express our appreciation. We could not be happier that we found Sunrise at Woodcliff Lake.

It's expensive but I have no complaints. They only clean the rooms weekly which is standard; by the end of the seven days, cleaning is really needed. It is a beautiful place and everyone has been super friendly and tried to meet our needs and requests 100%. Lots of activities both onsite and "field trips." Food choices at meals. We are waiting on a smaller unit to become available as we are paying for a two bedroom which is more than is needed. Caretakers are very responsive. Nurse practitioner available onsite with appt, RN on staff. Transportation to appts offered, hair salon on site. Really no complaints at all.

My husband has not been there very long. I think they could improve when people first arrive and move in there they could be more attentive to them.

Sunrise is a very cheerful and friendly place. The staff is totally dedicated to making the living experience for their residents as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. There are many activities, many friendly residents, excellent care and very nice rooms. I would recommend it very highly,

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Sunrise of Shelby! It's a very nice place! The staff is friendly and professional, and there is always someone around when you need them. The facility is clean and well kept, and it's just the right size for Mom, some of the places we looked at were just too big for her to be able to get around.

The apartments are not modern enough. The food could be more specialized to fit the more specific diets. Otherwise that is the only thing I am unhappy about. It is a pretty nice facility. It's a good place.

The care services they provide is very good. The friendliness of the staff is overwhelming. They are very nice and friendly. The activities are good when you participate. They offer several activities.
