I am happy with the care of this community. My parents were taken care of very well at this community. They both liked the meals. My mom loves the activities that are offered. The community is clean and the staff is so helpful. I would recommend the care and value of this community to other families

I loved this place. This place is very beautiful and had such a welcoming feeling. Extremely clean and the residents and staff all seemed to be very happy. My only concern is the being able to afford the monthly payment until the VA benefit kicks in.

We like this community for the great care. He is offered all the activities, but he has not been active yet. The other residents are happy and it makes us know that it would be a good place. He also had friends that lived there and it has been an excellent choice. We highly recommend the care of this community.

I'm staying here temporarily for rehab services and it has been good so far.They do offer activities but I haven't participated in them yet. I really appreciate my housekeeper, she does an excellent job. The entire staff is friendly. They recently got a new chef in the kitchen and the food is improving. They've made some really good meals.

We selected this facility and it seems to be a great place with a good philosophy.

The Sunrise at West Essex has been a positive experience for my mother. The staff is good to her, and as far as things like the cleanliness and meals, these are very good as well. I am happy we were able to find a good fit for her.

This being a very unsettling time, we have found this assisted living facility a wonderful solution to our problems. All staff are extremely friendly and always available to help. Cleanliness couldn't be better. Food and snacks are wonderful! They have a big variety of activities for both passive and active participants. A nice variety of rooms available. We feel greatful for this facility and staff. Staff is extremely supportive and have very good resident management skills. Definitely a 5 rating

Affordable and well-staffed. It was done within a couple of days... even though he arrived on Christmas Eve. Very pleased!

Very nice place and the managers are very nice, no regrets. They have a lot of activities, they have so many I have no time to rest. They have many activities in the evening. The food is alright, they have many choices, the chef is wonderful. The clean very well.

This is a good community and we are happy with the cleanliness. The staff are great and there is a good atmosphere and it is very uplifting with a good feeling. The other residents seemed like they like being there and it gave a great feeling. The other residents informed me that they liked being there and were happy with the community. They have the nice patio and are allowed to the family dog. I am happy knowing that this community is a good home for my mom. I have recommended this community for the care and the value to other families.

This is ca great place for my mom. We do like the staff. We are happy with the cleanliness of this community inside and out. The meals are good, but seem like they have better food on the first floor. We do like that she is involved with a lot of the good activities for her and she is just adjusting to the move here. We would recommend the care and the value of this community to other families.

Beautiful place....staffing ratio's are more in line with our comfort level.

My parents have lived here for 3 months after moving here from a similar facility in florida. Having spent much time in long term care facilities in both Florida and new York, I have to say I've been very pleased with the care my parents are receiving at Sunrise on Providence. My parents receive different levels of care where my father is mainly independent while my mother requires more hands on care. I have been there at many different times on both weekdays and weekends and have been generally impressed with the care and respect I've seen all residents get. The place is kept clean and inviting and all staff from maintainence to caregivers, nurses and even executive staff go out of their way to help and care for the residents. The food is pretty good for an institution and they try to involve residents in activities. When something isn't right, they make a prompt effort to fix it. I feel that they genuinely care about the residents, and though I usually visit a couple times a week, was very pleased to find my parents well cared for when I was away for several weeks.

The Sunrise has been wonderful. My mother is still getting used to the place but I really like the attention she is getting from the staff. They have wonderful desserts. I am very proud of my mother because she has joined in the daily activities and has even joined a committee.

This was a nice community when I had a tour of it. It was a suitable place for the care that was needed for a respite. However the minimum for a stay was 2 weeks. I was looking for just a week.

Personal care for my mother reignighted the spark In her voice. She loves it there and therefore we are very pleased with all aspects of what they do at Sunrise.

It was a trying time for my brother and me and both [Removed] and [Removed] helped make the move for my mother very easy. They really helped to make her feel welcome in her new community.
