We toured this community. We liked the staff who were nice and friendly. The staff are very caring. I liked the lunch that we were served on the tour and the menu was also nice with a good variety of healthy meals. They do offer activities for the residents. This community seemed alittle hard to find and we were afraid that guest would have a hard time finding this location to visit. We would recommend the community for the services of care and value to others .

He's very, very happy. He is doing wonderful. I love the facility I really do. I'm happy. It's very clean, and I never get complaints about the food, or anything like that. It really is very nice.

I would like to express our deepest appreciation towards Sunrise’s help with my mother- law. Under your guidance and leadership, your team of caretakers, nurses, and food service and personnel have provided excellent services to my mother-in law. She has indicated to me that she would not go any other place other than Sunrise.

Ever since my mother moved into your facility, a little more than three years ago, she had nothing but praises. The pleasant personality of the staff, the delicious meals, particularly the people who served her meals, and the harmonious living environment made a lasting memory for her.

Sunrise Senior Living of Haverford is the perfect place for my parents unfortunately it's more than our budget.

I like the care here at this community. The staff was nice to my mom and she seemed to like the care that was outstanding. The community and we were happy with the nice atmosphere. We would hight recommend this community for the care of a loved one and the excellent value

The staff are friendly and respond to our questions quickly. Mom likes the food and some of the daily activities. This is a smaller community and they keep it well taken care of. I would recommend this community.

This community is smaller than some of the other communities in the area. The staff are wonderful. They have many long term staff members. They are personable, professional and treat my wife very well. The food is very good they offer a good selection and a private dining room if you would like to have a private family meal. They offer a lot of activities including yoga. They have a nice veranda patio and walking paths. This community is very nice and I would highly recommend it.

Dad is doing well and Mom is slowly adjusting. We chose this location for several reasons and room size is definitely one of them! The staff is really easy to talk with and they answer all my questions. They have alot of activities and slowly but surely Mom is taking part in the ones she likes. Mom does think's the food could be a little better but it's pretty good. I would recommend this place.

I do not live in the same state as our loved one but I do get information from my brother in law. My father in law seems to have adjusted well. The last time we saw him, he seemed happier than we have seen him in a while. They do take him and wheel him to places rot participate by observing which is what makes him happy. I would absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking, we have had a good experience besides a small issue in the beginning, but that was resolved fairly quickly.

It's been a great fit for my grandmother. They are a great organization. The staff are helping her with her dementia and she is getting what she needs. I would recommend this community.

We were very happy with the care at this community. The staff were always nice and caring to my father. We were happy to know that he was in a clean community. The menu was very good and i enjoying having a meal with him. They offered him activites to participate in and he enjoyed alot of them. We would highly recommend this community for the great care and value for a loved one.

My mother loves this community, and I'am very pleased with all they have done for us. It is truly a great facility for her, and her needs. I know she is safe, and in good hands. They do a very good job keeping track of her. If she wants to leave she just has to sign out. The staff is attentive, and kind. Everything is working out very well for us in this facility, and I would recommend it.

My mother lived at Sunrise at North Hills from October 2016-June 2017. Positive: Overall, it was a great place for her to live and reacclimate after a brain injury. The facility is beautiful, well-kept, and has a positive energy about it. They always have fresh flowers on display and the community Labrador, Tilly, always greets you at the door. They have therapy services on-site and an abundance of activities all day long. My mother was able to have her small dog and even take him to the activities. All of the staff have good intentions and are very friendly. They have difficult jobs and they do them with a smile on their faces. Suggestions for Improvement: The Med Techs and LPNs at Sunrise at North Hills are absolutely wonderful, but the facility would greatly benefit from having more RNs on hand. RNs possess the level of education necessary to assess and manage more complicated illnesses such as Type 1 Diabetes. The staff failed to recognize their improper use of insulin needles and my mother’s subsequent symptoms of Diabetic Ketoacidosis, a serious and potentially life-threatening complication of Diabetes. Fortunately, I am a nurse and live nearby, so I was able to recognize the severity of the situation and take her to the hospital, but that was the duty of the Sunrise staff. They eventually learned to manage her Diabetes and did so very well for many months afterwards, but the ordeal was stressful, expensive, and avoidable. Therefore, I would highly recommend Sunrise at North Hills for loved ones with easily manageable chronic illnesses, minor disabilities, or those in need of respite stays.

This place is beautiful, clean, friendly, organized...everything you could want. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for when caring for a loved one. Mom lives in the MemoryCare floor and is doing very well considering her condition. She was living at another facility, which we were not at all pleased with, so we have some basis for our ratings. I gave the activities only 4 stars because I have not been there when mom has activities, although have had seen very good/even great activities for those residents whose dementia is not as progressed. The staff is particularly wonderful. Mom has already bonded with [Removed] and our family has started forming relationships with others. They are present, efficient with their work and always ready to lend a hand when needed.

Had a tour of the facility - it was very clean and bright. Saw the residents having lunch in both the assisted living and the memory care units and also having activities. Both of the bedrooms that I saw were brightly decorated. staff was extremely friendly.

My mother was a resident here for over 2 years. Our family cannot say enough good things about this facility. Yes, it is expensive but your family member is so well taken care of.

The community for my husband is outstanding. The staff are so attentive to his care. The community is very clean. I like knowing that the staff are trainned to help him at all times. They offer a nice menu and we would recommend this community for the care of a loved one.
