Sunrise Senior Living

My mom is at this community and she is liking the care from the staff. We like knowing that the community is clean and she is please with the menu. They have activities that are offered to the residents. We would recommend the care from this community to other families for good care for the value of a loved one.

This is a beautiful, well maintained facility with nice amenities. It is reasonably priced compared to other facilities. I was impressed that the staff (even the maintenance folks) greeted residents by name. The only downside is that the waiting list for independent living is 1-2 years. Rent includes a daily continental breakfast plus one additional daily meal. Unused meals are forfeited.

My loved one is doing beautifully, we are blown over because we never expected her to be this happy, she is thrilled. This community has been everything we were looking for, they offer high-quality care, they are a place we feel comfortable with, but also we like that the location is where we could stop by often. I think this particular community is very active and engage with the residents, they always know us when we stop by.

I toured this community for good care. We toured and liked the staff who were caring and comforting. The menu looked appealing and they offer a nice list of activities that are offered. I like the care from this community. The staff are so nice and always caring. They go out of their way to make sure that they are attentive. The menu is outstanding and she is happy with being able to be involved with the activites. I feel good knowing that she is in good care. I recommend this community for other families.

Very informative staff and friendly. outside grounds were very nice, facility seemed very clean, no bad smells, staff knew all the residences.

So far everything is working out well for my cousin with her move to this community. From what her son tells me, she is safe, and receiving good care. The staff is good, they have been attentive, and helpful overall. We do feel she is in good hands at this community.

I can not say enough about the staff at this community as they are friendly, courteous and helpful. They offer daily activities and dad is just starting to participate in some of them. The food is wonderful the community is well maintained and clean. This community is in a good location for us and is a good cost. The community had a good reputation according to some people we spoke to that had loved ones that lived there and I would recommend this community.

This is a top notch facility. Lovely accommodations, professionally run, beautifully decorated.

I had a very good tour of Sunrise of Park Ridge. The lady that took me around was very helpful and friendly, she did everything to make us comfortable. When my mother is ready to move, I am sure Sunrise will be one of our top choices.

The most important reason for this high rating is that Mom is happy and active.

Sunrise of Jacksonville is an excellent operation! The staff is very good. They are sure to keep residents busy and engaged on a day-to-day basis. My loved one enjoys the meals that she receives, and she looks forward to them every day. We are all very happy with this facility!

I was very impressed with the facility and staff at Sunrise Reston. Probably the most impressive fact is the length of tenure many (+60%) of the staff is over 5 years with a significant percentage over 10 years.

My sister and brother-in-law moved to Sunrise within the last months. She to recover from a broken hip and he because his mobility issues were beyond what she could handle with her own recovery. He moved from an extremely bad Windsor facility and was very happy in his bright room at Sunrise overlooking the river. They were both pleased with the care they experienced at Sunrise. Unfortunately he suffered complications from a stroke and passed away on Friday. The staff have been caring, comforting and compassionate with my sister. She is overwhelmed with their understanding and concern for her well being. We travelled to Windsor and spent time at Sunrise with my sister. We were invited to have lunch with her while in Windsor and enjoyed our meals together. The staff were kind and considerate. We were impressed with their caring ways and thank them most sincerely for helping us through a difficult time. We are encouraging our sister to remain at Sunrise until her hip is completely healed so she will continue to receive excellent care and balanced meals.

Everything is above average. Great!

We had originally looked at this Sunrise location before we decided another location was more convenient for visiting. I'm very impressed by both Sunrise locations.

We are very pleased with my mother's move here! She's attending quite a few things which really shocked me because she was always the type of person who kept to herself. She's going to the many events they hold and has even made friends. I was there for dinner and it was good. They offered several options and a nice three-course meal. The community is definitely very clean. I can't think of anything negative about the community.
