I took a tour of this facility when I was looking for a place for my loved one. The lady that gave me a tour was very personable and everyone knew who she was. I was really impressed with everything. They have a lot of activities and they’re all listed in different areas. What I always want to make sure of, from my loved one’s perspective, is that she gets vegetables and things like that and from what I could tell, they serve healthy options like turkey breast and fish. Other than that, it seemed like a pretty set menu.

Sunrise at Cherry Creek has been great so far. I think the personal attention that my aunt had been getting has been very impressive. They have been looking at every detail to try to help her function as highly as possible, and they take assessment s of even the smallest things. They are very thorough, keeping the residents engaged and never allowing my aunt to sit in her room by herself. The staff is also very respectful of her privacy and dignity. Her room is just beautiful. It feels like a little apartment with is big widows and bright look. She’s able to keep her clothes and jewelry there, she can display her pictures, and she can have her plats there too. Sunrise has just been a lifesaver for us, and I would recommend this community to others.

When my sister and I were looking for a place for my brother-in-law, we wound up touring this facility and eventually moved him in. The facility itself is brand new and is from an Australian company that, from my understanding, only has a few facilities within the US. They have a whole different view of memory care and how to get people back to their former selves and it’s really been great. Because it’s so new, there aren’t that many residents living there at the moment so the care is a bit more hands on. They’re still hiring staff, too, but the staff that is there has been very helpful to my sister and she’s been happy with how things are being handled. The rooms are a good size and they all open into a courtyard so my brother-in-law has a nice view of that. The bathroom doesn’t have a door and the bed is situated right near it in case the residents wake up in the middle of the night and need to get to the restroom quickly. My sister has had a number of people that have come to visit her husband and they’ve all been very impressed as well with what they’ve seen. The activities director is quite creative. She had the residents make bowls once and I thought that was great. There’s lots of exercise classes available to keep everyone moving, there’s solitaire, brain games, and even in October they had kids come over from the local schools to trick or treat! Honestly, whoever put this together was creative from the beginning. The staff is keeping everything pretty clean and I haven’t seen anything bad or had any complaints. My sister has eaten there a few times and there isn’t anything really remarkable about it, but she has made the comment that they really try to accommodate everyone. I would definitely recommend them!

We are so happy we found this community for dad. He love it here and there are a lot of men here so he's making friends. The staff is caring and attentive. It is a brand new community so it always nice and clean. The dining area is nice and food is great. They have like a walking path outside and every floor has a patio are. He love the activities like going out for bus rides and exercises there is also a Happy Hour. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

I went on a tour here and everything went really well. The staff was nice and friendly. They answered all of my questions. It was clean and tidy. Looked wonderful and it was a little misleading to me. They quoted me one price and we scheduled to move my dad in and then 2 weeks away the added the price of the medicine and he started out with 6 after their review it went from 6 to 10 meds and 2,500 dollars more. So I had to go with other accommodations.

The staff here really treats you like family. They try to do everything for you and if you have an issue they will do their best to resolve it as soon as the can. I always tell my husband that I want to be here. It’s just so wonderful that I already referred other people to this community. My best friend is there and she is very happy and comfortable. They staff is very communicative and keep you in the know of everything. This location is just two minutes away from my home so it made it very convenient for me to pick her up and take her to jazzercise, which she loves. They also offer yoga on site. My friend was not a fan of it because you mainly sit and do extended poses. The other activities that they offer would be posted on a sheet near the concierge desk so you can see what is happening on site. They also have transportation services that would take residents to Walmart, to restaurants, outings, and just different kinds of places. The food there is absolutely wonderful and I was so impressed by it. I am able to eat with my friend as well for a small price. I enjoy the menu, they change it daily. They have breakfast specials every morning and for lunch and supper it’s a sit down restaurant setting. It is very nice. Housekeeping keeps the facility very nice and clean. They do my friends laundry once a week on Mondays and they take out the trash every day. They make her bed every morning and they change her sheets once a week along with her laundry. My friend was also able to keep her dog. I’m sure that they have weight restrictions for certain animal, but the staff team came over and met the dog and said that it was fine.

We toured this community for my Aunt and Uncle. This was not a locked facility and we were afraid my Aunt would try to leave all the time.It was nice and clean. The staff was helpful with all the questions. But we had to go elsewhere.

The staff here are very responsive, personable, and very communicative. When I go in they greet me by name and they really try to make you feel at home. If I call, I am always up to date with everything. Everyone on their team (from custodial workers, chefs, and people on their administrative team) will learn all of their residents’ names. I was very impressed with the facility and how everything is nicely appointed. The care team does very well with trying to fit in the residents very nicely. It seems that it was the perfect size while looking for a place for my in laws. You don’t have that feeling of being in a big hotel or a small location where they don’t have any activities; it just seemed like a perfect size of not feeling of being lost in a crowd. The other residents there are fabulous. After my father in law passed it was just my mother in law there. She would go into the dining area and start eating, where all of a sudden another group of people will flag her down and say “come sit with us!” My mother will always have people to sit with. Everyone looks out for each other, they would always look for someone else to eat with, no one would have to be a lone, and everyone’s very welcoming. Overall the residents get that independent living but they have people that check in on them just in case anything happens or they need anything. They also have fun activities. They have this thing called thirsty Thursdays where at 3:00pm they would go for cocktails. They also have events monthly that would focus on different countries. It would be followed by lectures about the country to they would watch related movies. And any day that you would like a family member to come or friends you can get a guest pass for them.

We are very happy with the community.The staff is very caring and attentive.Since my dad has moved in their he has done very well. My sisters are very comfortable with everything related to the staff and facility.The community is very clean, the food is excellent, and they have numerous activities, but my dad is not a big activity person. I would not want that to go against the facility, because there is plenty of opportunity for him to do things.

This community was very nice and clean.The staff was really accomadating with questions we had. It only had 2 levels of care and I was afraid something may got wrong with dad and I don't want him to be moved again if something were to happen. So we had to go with another community.

We really like this one, but are trying not to do Rapid City.

Lakewood Estates is by far my favorite of the places I visited while looking for a place for my dad. [Removed], who helped me initially, was super informative, and we instantly had a good report. She walked us through the process, and helped us feel immediately at ease. Everyone here has been beyond helpful. The food is really good. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the food. They have a lot of options, and really reasonable portions sizes. It’s very clean here, and they have so many activities from movie nights, to exercise classes, to outings. I have been so pleased with Lakewood Estates. I would definitely recommend it.

We got really good vibes when we came here. The staff here are attentive, happy and caring. They have doctor's that come to this facility which is convenient. They keep everything clean and tidy. Mom has a patio which she loves to grow tomatoes so its perfect for her. The activities are so much fun like Oktoberfest, Happy Hour and just had a costume party with all the families it was a blast. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

Decor was very nice and inviting. Residents seemed very friendly. Rooms seemed a bit small for a couple. I like that you don't have to change rooms if care level changes.

[Removed] was incredible, from start to finish. As soon as she got my info from the site, I had a call and email. She even was emailing me back and 9pm! During our emails, I decided to cancel my Denver tours and Make the trek to Greeley. We are in love! What a perfect place for my dad! [Removed] is a rockstar. We didn’t plan on pulling the trigger the 1st day, but we did!

Sunrise of Madison is a BEAUTIFUL place. People and environment are very comforting. I would recommend it to everyone. [Removed]and staff are friendly and informative. Rooms are clean and staff very involved.

Love the home feel and the staff - decided to move our brother on first visit

This facility is 1st class but it comes with a price tag. I chose this place because my mom is only 2 miles away and I can see her every day. All of the staff treats my mom incredibly well. They always go above and beyond expectations to make her feel better. Sometimes it’s just getting her some more water bottles to going out and buying her extra things like diapers or sheets. They’re always phenomenal and very friendly. The amount of attention they give my mom and the courtesy they show her is amazing. They serve 3 meals a day and they are good portions that look nutritious. If you don’t like the main option that they offer, there are other things for you to pick from. The staff checks in on her often and also offer snacks in-between meals if she needs it. Her room is decent in size and they take out the trash every day. One service they also offer is laundry to which they do 2 times a week. They also offer activities like movies, yoga, piano, going to the hairdresser, and they take my mom on walks outside. I would really recommend this facility to the families who would be able to afford it.

My mom chose Sugar Valley because it was the best available. It’s close to where we live, it has the most amenities available, and it’s a great value. The staff is easy to communicate with and there’s an overall friendly atmosphere. There are no needs that go unmet, everything is taken care of and clean, it’s totally independent living, and everything there is perfect. The housekeeping comes in twice a week to change linens and vacuum, you’re in charge of doing your own laundry, and there’s a facilities guy that will take care of anything wrong in your apartment. He’s very johnny-on-the-spot and there very quickly. Activities wise, they have anything and everything you want. There are scheduled activities as well as dances, parties, and transportation is provided with a driver and you don’t have to worry about a mile limit. The other residents are very friendly and welcoming. For what you pay, this place is a good value and I would recommend it to others looking for independent living.
