Very nice facility. Just a few residents. Wonderful dining facilities, but I think it might be out of my price range.

Very impressed and feel they could take care of her at the right level.

Our favorite option so far. Very homey environment and staff have been there a long time. Good room size. Limited work out room, but they do have a walking club.

Enjoyed meeting [name removed] for the first time (have spoken on the phone a few times). I like the layout. The semi private rooms would work for us. The dining room layout is quite good. Some issues with ease of getting to the facility, i.e., traffic patterns on GA 141 make entry to facility "tricky." In addition, not much visitor parking.

Sunrise has been an answer to our prayers. My aunt, who is an internationally recognized researcher on the brain at Columbia University tragically is inflicted with dementia. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff, the excellent care, and essentially any other superlative my aunt his receiving at Sunrise Vernier. The entire small community is devoted to helping residents with memory loss enjoy the best life possible. I spend a lot of time visiting and I'm always so relieved to see my aunt and the other residents being treated with such care and dignity and a homey, clean and beautiful atmosphere. Many thanks to [name removed] from A Place for Mom for taking the time to fully understand my aunt's needs and diligently locating a perfect match for us. Thanks to all the amazing staff members at Sunrise Vernier and special thanks to [names removed].

Sunrise Bethesda is wonderful...supporting both the client and the family. We are so fortunate to have the Sunrise experience, from our initial meeting to becoming part of the Sunrise family, from excellent caregiving to on site nursing and doctor visits, from daily meals to special monthly brunches...Sunrise meets all our needs in the most professional manner. They go above and beyond for all those in their care!

I ran into medical issues and needed respite care for my mother while I dealt with them. Brighton Gardens is wonderful, and were very accommodating. They have a warm friendly atmosphere. I knew it was the right place for my mother when I saw how genuinely happy the employees were in their jobs. My picky best friend was even stunned to find she liked it - it met her high standards for cleanliness, friendliness and layout. I cannot say enough great things about this facility. Even Mom, who desperately did not want to go, was surprised to find how much she liked being there!

Very nice facility. Hosted by Director of Sales, [name removed], I was able to tour multiple areas and rooms, and see residents involved in numerous activities. Wasn't able to get a firm cost estimate, as services tend to be level of care-related, kind of an ala carte basis. Hope to have a firm number soon. Sunrise is definitely on our "strong possibility" list. Thank you, [name removed], for your kind attention.

The smiles on the resident's faces was worth it! My daughter and I have had the opportunity to volunteer at Sunrise of Frisco and what a great experience for both of us. The residents were so very nice— the facility clean and welcoming and the staff is professional and friendly. I'm glad we had the opportunity to volunteer and feel rewarded by the smiles of appreciation.

My mother in law lived at Sunrise of Frisco for 5.5 years and passed away in April. She received the best care and always felt loved and respected. The staff treated her like one of the family, giving her a sense of purpose and worth. We are so grateful for Sunrise of Frisco.

Our mom has been a resident at sunrise in Buffalo grove for the past two years. Our experience has been more than exceptional. She loves her caretakers, her friends, the food and activities. [Name removed], the chef, prepares amazing meals with great presentation. [Name removed], plans wonderful parties and events. [Name removed], plans outings and activities as well for every level of care. The facility is spotless and always smells if either popcorn, chocolate or apple pie! We couldn’t be more happy of the choice we made for our mom. She is “happy as a clam!” It is a great value as well! It’s like living in a bed and breakfast! We all enjoy attending the activities with mom! Thanks sunrise!

A gorgeous fairly new facility, looks like a vacation resort lodge. lots of activities happening and nice amenities. Nice meal options too.

In mid summer my mother became extremely ill in her hometown of TR NJ and after a lengthy hospitalization and rehab we were forced to make the difficult decision to relocate her up to CT near us. My mother had no input in the selection due to her illness and because we told the rehab facility we were not interested in leaving her in NJ they decided to discharge her with little notice to our family. [Name removed] was extremely accommodating and met my sister and I on a Sunday. He arranged for someone from Sunrise to observe and document her condition at the NJ rehab and jumped hoops to help us move her quickly. Yes, there are a few unfavorable reviews we saw on the web but we checked the DPH licensing web and checked on things like service or health violations as part of our decision to move mom to BG. They bent a rule and let us move her on a holiday weekend since we had to get her in sooner when the NJ facility gave us two days notice of a discharge date of Friday before labor day. As my mother has improved, she has come to consider this her home with new friends. The staff have been kind and considerate of her recovery and care. They give her choices in her wardrobe selection and activities since she is wheelchair bound at this point. She loves her meals and feels happy, much happier as time passes, [name removed], the ED has answered each and every question that we come up with, is very responsive and the receptionists are so helpful. We decided at the 11th hour of closing up her house to bring up her kitty after the first month who is also elderly and the staff has been wonderful with [name removed]. I hope in considering choosing BG you will visit and check all sources, talk to staff and tour the facility. You will see for yourself that many factors go into a big decision with what is best for your parent or family member. We have found all the staff to be courteous and considerate and right down to the Director of Facilities, who responds quickly to complaints if any. The fact that Mom is close to myself, my two other siblings and we can see she is happy is a bonus. That and the friends I have made with other resident's family members. For our family it is a win win all the way around. And, then....let me tell you all about [name removed]........

Like their counterpart in Bethesda, this Sunrise facility had really good vibes. I appreciated the levels of care being offered there even though priced much more than others that I have visited. I would highly recommend this for someone who has the income to support such a move.
