Sunrise Senior Living

MY mom has lived in this community for 2.5 years. She stared in Assisted living and in now in memory care. Through every phase, the incredible staff has gone above and beyond to keep my mom happy and safe. The atmosphere is very warm and homelike. Senior staff is always available to resolve any concerns. I'm thrilled I chose Sunrise of Highland Park for my mom!

I am very happy living here. Management is great, they do everything to see that I am happy and need for nothing. At my age I would not want to live anywhere else. I thank them for everything.

The community was very helpful and very good to our family and our loved one. The food was enjoyed by loved one. I was able to eat with my loved one a few times and I enjoyed the food as well. Some of the activities that I saw were available for residents were lectures, games, and other activities for residents to participate in.

My mom was a resident at Sunrise for almost 5 years. In that time, the staff became a second family. They cared for and loved my mom like we did! There isn’t one thing I could have asked them to do better because her care was always second to none. As a daughter of a parent with dementia, I also always felt supported by the staff, they always had time to talk and answer my questions in a kind and caring way.

My mom was a resident at Sunrise in Marlboro, NJ for almost 5 years. The staff became a second family. The care they all provided to my mom was second to none. No matter how busy they were, the staff always made time to talk with me and my sister and never made us feel rushed. They genuinely cared for all of us. I highly recommend that any family looking for a senior living community to take a tour of Sunrise. We took a tour about a year before our mom moved in and she, too was totally impressed so when the time came, she is the one who said it was time. Leaving her home of 58 years was not easy for any of us but the warm greeting she received at Sunrise followed by the excellent care made every day a blessing!

I had a hard time with the idea of leaving my home of over 30 years. But I knew I didn't want to keep living alone, maintaining this big house. Everyone at Bear Canyon made me feel so welcome, and they take good care of me. If you are thinking about moving, don't wait too long. You will be happier if you move while you can still enjoy it.

I have lived here for about 3 years, and I love it. You will love it too. It is easy to make new friends here, and the staff go above and beyond for everyone.

We are so very happy with Sunrise! the "care Manager" system they have is out of this world. My father has the same caregiver and has a great friendship with his care manger where he is doing things for them that he wouldn't do for me at home, its amazing the effort they put into his care. the building is a great facility and the management team has been so caring and respectful. i am pleased with out choice.

So very happy we decided to pick Sunrise! the care that is offered is amazing, my father has built connections with his "Care Manager" and is willing to do things that he refused to do at home. I am so grateful for everything they have helped me with! I will only refer Sunrise to my friends. great job!

Stratford is a good place. My loved one has been happy here. The staff is attentive and kind to the residents. My loved one thinks the food is ok. The room is nice and has two windows that look over a courtyard. The room has a private bathroom for the resident.

We chose Sunrise of Webster because the facility was nice and at the end of the day, they demonstrated an understanding on dementia. Their vision and execution aligned. I know that he is safe here, his falls have decreased and his medications are working. The best part about the community so far has been that the staff members take their job seriously and have had very few incidences of COVID. If they take everything this seriously, then I know they are keeping my dad safe. I would recommend.

I feel comfortable here. All of the staff is helpful and accommodating. The community is very nice. If you have any issues, the General Manager listens to you and gets taken care of. Everybody has been very helpful, even though the virus has limited things. I've enjoyed meeting people in the dining room and taking walks around the community.

We chose Sunrise of new City because of the location, it would be close so we could visit. His room size here is very good. My dad seems to be very happy with the food. The best part about the community so far would be the staff members, my dad speaks very highly of them. They started window visits in July and they recently started face to face visits in the breezeway of the facility. I would recommend it.

We looked at quite a few other facilities, they had the best value for your money, the friendliness staff, and we liked the amenities they had to offer. The facility is just now starting to open up and she is starting to meet people which is very nice since we have not been able to visit. Overall, we have had a great experience with Sunrise of Gilbert so far.

We chose Sunrise of Buffalo Grove because there was a combination of professionalism in the facility and a lot of personal interaction on a more intimate scale. This is a smaller setting than some of the other facilities that we saw. I would say the best part about my fathers stay here was the personnel. They immediately engaged my father to take care of his needs. They appeared to have each others backs to make sure everything is taken care of for their residents. It was a more home-like setting. They have a facility dog that goes up and sits with the residents. I would recommend this community.

I would tell my friends that it is a good place to be. The community is a very responsive team. My dad seems to be very happy there. We are able to have window visits. The room is a good size for my dad, and has everything he needs in there.

My mother has lived at Greeley Place for 2 years. She absolutely LOVES that she has an independent lifestyle here. If she needs any assistance, the OUTSTANDING STAFF is more than happy to offer her the help she needs. She sincerely appreciates that her meals are prepared fresh daily, that her mail is delivered here, that she can get her hair done at the salon on site, that she use the library, that she can do exercises in the Recreation room and that she can play games and do crafts in the Activity Room. Greeley Place is very conveniently located within walking distance to the Recreation Center (Gym), the Adult Activity Center (Senior Center) and the Union Colony Civic Center DIRECTLY across the street! What is most important to my Mother is this community, which includes both the residents and the employees here, is the feeling of "Caring" and "Family" that she experiences on a daily basis.

They are an excellent community, and I would recommend them. The food was enjoyed by my loving one. The rooms are very nice. The staff was excellent. We had been at another community prior and it was night and day.

We moved mom in during Covid which was a bit difficult, however, Bear Canyon made the procedure as easy as possible. We can visit mom anytime. She lives close to stores, doctors, restaurants, and museums. There are nice sidewalks around the complex on which to walk. The food is good and the people are friendly. Transportation is provided for the residents to doctor appointments and grocery stores.

When we decided to look into assisted living for our Dad, we looked all over and found Bear Canyon, and knew immediately that this was it!!!
