Sunrise Senior Living

Sunrise of Louisville is very clean and overall they did a great job. We were able to be there day they day our loved one passed and they were just great. This facility was absolutely wonderful it was clearly top notch. The lady who runs the place is exceptional along with her staff. Five stars all around, it was meant for us and it was just top top notch!

Their approach is very much like a Montessori approach for children, but for adults. I like that they try to pair up the people that have similar strengths, and then as they transition into decline, they put them with what they call the gems. I like that this allows them to hang onto whatever skill level they are at for the longest period of time. They do it right here. The cost is in line with everybody else. But they just do it right. With Covid, they went above and beyond keeping us informed. Not overly informed, not underinformed, just right. They kept the residents super safe and went above and beyond state guidelines. They brought in their own company to clean and administer Covid tests regularly. They were the first ones to get pulse oxygen monitors to measure not just temperatures but also pulse and oxygen rates to determine if they needed to get a resident into a hospital. We had an experience at a different community, and they were good, but not nearly as good as this place. Aspired Living assured us they would be able to transition our loved one from assisted living into memory care and make sure he was safe. They did so seamlessly, and I never once heard any frustration level from them. They kept him involved and active, as he preferred to be.

It was a great place for our loved one and everything was good up until the pandemic. He really took to one of his care givers, however he health started to decline and unfortunately they were just not equipped to handle that level of care.

I would say that the community was wonderful with my loved one. They were excellent with care. All the way around from Administration down to all the staff. They made sure my loved one was neat and clean and had his dignity. This was important to us and wanted to get his dignity back in his last few days.

They're very caring. Everyone you pass by speaks to you and says hello. I feel they could improve on little things. For instance, I had to clean my loved one's wheelchair one time. When I brought it to their attention, they agreed that shouldn't have happened. The administrative staff is very attentive, from the director down to the medical director of nursing. They always communicate with us anything regarding our loved one's care. The director is approachable, and if she sees me she'll ask how things are going for my loved one.

I thought the community was very good. I would recommend it if your loved one is able to mostly take care of themselves and doesn't need too much assistance. It's a really nice community. When we were allowed to visit, it was always very friendly, the people were really nice. The girls who worked there were great to me and my loved one. It was always clean there. As is the case everywhere, Covid did a lot of damage, keeping us from seeing it for what it really was. I think it would have been the absolute warmest, nicest place had it not been for Covid. But I would definitely recommend them. And things are already starting to get back to some sense of normalcy.

The friendliness of the staff members were a beyond a five we have nothing bad to say. The care services were excellent, this was such a good decision for our family we could not of been more happy.

There is a feeling of warmth here, you feel like you belong and part of a family. Everyone knows your name. Communication is very good and if they don't know the answer they find someone who does. I would recommend this community to others.

Our loved one is very a happy with the meals, there is a wide variety, they are hot, tasty and appetizing. The staff are definitely very nice and amazing and they are constantly checking in on our loved one. They treat her with kindness and respect. The activities have been restricted but they are trying to open back up the dining room with limited amount of people, and they are having movie nights with social distancing. All the residents who had the opportunity have been fully vaccinated. We do think the value is there, it is all inclusive. Our loved one is taking advantage of the on site services like physical and occupational therapy.

The community has several chefs and different sizes of rooms. They respond quickly when it come to any issues you may have. Activities seem to be starting back up now. They tried hard to make everyone feel cheerful during the holidays. I was very impressed with the visiting Drs. and medical team. I would recommend this community to others.

I would tell others we have been satisfied and they have good care here. The best part of the community is the knowledge the staff has. I wouldn't change anything about the community. The communication is excellent and the staff are responsive.

I was happy with the community. The people that were there were very friendly. I wasn't able to get in to my loved one due to the restrictions due to the pandemic. I feel if we were able to see our loved one in the community or outside, it might improve quality of life. They did allow window visits to see our loved one. They were always getting in touch with me to keep me updated on my loved one. They do have a medical team to help the residents out.

We chose Sunrise of Braintree because of the convenient location and I knew that once I moved him here he would not have to move again. Once he needs more care they can provide him whatever he will need which was important to me. They also had very few covid cases at the time unlike some others we looked into. They have been very attentive and helpful. They send me photos of activities he does and call me on the phone if there are any concerns of changes. I would recommend them to others looking.

We are able to do an in person tour, it was still restricted because of covid so we had to go through the side door. We were able to walk down the hallway and see one unit and what we did see of the community was very clean and overall really nice.

This community is more of an assisted living community and it did not fit our needs. The staff was very nice and they were prompt returning our calls

The staff is very nice and work very well together. The value is good and you get a lot for your money. The food is amazing and she wished she cook like that. The community has a van service and will take you to appointments. We are extremely happy. I would recommend this community to others.

Every person I have talked to has been helpful. They've all been knowledgeable, and if they couldn't answer me they got me to someone who could. They proactively reach out to me with updates, and they also Facetime with me. So I feel like they're showing what is going on as much as possible when I can't be there during Covid time. I feel like my loved one is extremely safe there. I would recommend them for sure.

I live out of state, but my family has been able to see the community is visit quite often and they say it is very clean. The staff members have really be great towards us, the care services are also really good our family has no complaints to say. The value is reasonable for the location it is in, and the staff has just been really decent towards out family.

We chose this facility because of the location. It was important to us that they do allow pets with rules and guidelines, so that was big for us. They are great with communication, we can set up facetimes when available, we can also do window visits. They are starting to let loved ones in as long as we have been vaccinated. They also send newsletters for updates inside the community and do a lot to keep families engaged. I think they truly care about their residents. I would absolutely recommend them.
