Sunrise Senior Living

It is a smaller facility so there was a more cozy feel to it. They invited one of the other residents to sit down and speak with me who was in a similar position so that gave me a good perspective on what my dad could anticipate.

My elderly mother suffered a stroke during heart surgery and the loss of her husband and house all within the same month. Can not explain enough what a nightmare this was for all but especially mom. We needed to find a clean safe home where mom could keep her independence yet have a hand if needed. We were so blessed with Sunrise of Rockville. Beginning with [name removed] their leasing agent who worked so thoughtfully and respectfully not only with mom but with us knowing everything we just went thru. She furthermore helped all involved get acquainted with head of nursing, made sure mom care was appropriate for her new needs due to stroke. Two months later still feeling so very blessed that mom is being so wonderfully cared for and the fact they do what they can to assist the family, like me who lives out of state. I highly recommend this facility. They truly came thru when my mom and the rest of us needed a hand.

My wife has Alzheimer's disease and has been at Sunrise of Rockville for almost 9 years, first in assisted living, then memory care. I've been very happy with how they've treated her and she has loved all the caregivers and staff, along with the activities when she could do them. She had some difficult times that they really helped her through. This was definitely a great place for her to be with her needs through the different stages and changes.

The community is brand new and designed very well. The community is beautiful and well taken care of. The staff is lovely and the community is well worth it. communication is good between the staff and the residence and keeps us update. I would recommend this community to others.

We have been so pleased, and from what we are able to see of the community it is spotless. The staff members are great, friendly, helpful and have great communication. Every time we call they have an answer from us, or reply back to us with an email. Our loved one is thriving there, and when we do see her she is always clean, hair done and wearing clean clothes.

This community is very good at providing assisted living and memory care. Communication is good between the staff and our family, they send emails and quickly return our calls. I would recommend this community to others. The community is not a big as others and I like that they seem to give more attention to our loved one.

We went to 5 other ones and Sunrise was beautiful,m it looked like a hotel .they seemed personable and we just thought it would be a good fit. Her room is very nice, they have a nice screen in porch and outside gardens for the residents in memory care. The director is good with communication and sends us emails with updates on what is going on. I think they are opening up the dining room soon and I cannot wait to go and eat with them, I have heard the food is good and chef prepared. If mom does not like what is being served, they will accommodate other things like PB&Js. They do have an app called smiles where you can see pictures and send them notes, but have the communication that way has been a little bit laxed. Overall, I would definitely recommend to others looking.

We were very pleased and felt comfortable with our loved one's care. We were always able to reach somebody. All in all, it was a good experience. The people there were caring. And we were able to reach somebody if we needed to.

The staff is very accommodating and it's a smaller community and I feel my loved one gets better attention. Communication is good and I receive updates 2-3 a week. I would recommend this community to others

So far [name removed] has been a wealth of knowledge about Sunrise and the journey of selecting a facility. He answered my questions clearly and informed us how mom's caregivers would take time to learn her abilities and work with her to help her have good days (& restful nights). He has availed himself when ever we have more to ask. [name removed] did a virtual tour today and was also a delight too speak to. Both of their personalities are great! You can tell they love what they do! Sunrise is on our list for sure, but worried that is will be out of budget :(

The staff is very responsive, via email or phone. They answer questions, and they call me anytime there's a concern. I've had a really good experience with the staff. My loved one doesn't need a lot at this point, but I'm glad she has the care she needs. So far I haven't been able to visit recently in person due to Covid, but I used to work with Sunrise through an education program, and it's a nice place.

There is nothing that I am not completely impressed with with Sunrise of Willowbrook. We chose this facility because of the convenient location and after looking at others, the staff members here were just so friendly and they continue to be that way. My aunt is so happy here. AS far as I know they are taking care of her wonderfully. They have been great with communication, they have an app you can download and they upload pictures of your loved ones and what they are up to. I would absolutely recommend them.

[name removed] was a great help in so many aspects of our search. Really passionate about her job and an asset to Sunrise SL.

We chose Sunrise at Canyon Crest because my mom required a higher level of care and they were able to provide that. The room sizes are average compared to what we looked at, for a single person they are more than adequate. They have been awesome with communication with everything going on, they send out newsletters and emails to keep families updates. If I ever call up there they are quick to answer. I think they are a little understaffed at times. Staff from top to bottom are the friendliest people I have encountered and I appreciate them. I can sleep at night knowing that my parents are well taken care of.

We chose Brighton Gardens because their willingness to take my husband on and work with him on his physical therapy, but this did not happen because of quarantine. The facility was very good with communication especially with everything that is going on. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

Our preliminary interview with [name removed] gave us a wealth of knowledge about Sunrise of Lafayette Hill, and made our decision to have our relative move into the facility an easy one. Move-in day, which required a number of communications with a local Hospital, eliminated the stress we sometimes found ourselves in. Upon arrival we were all greeted by the staff, who assured us they would take care of the physical and emotional needs of our relative. We remain extremely satisfied with this care, and the support they give our family.

From our first visit to Sunrise last year it was very welcoming and friendly. [name removed] answered all my questions and any concerns I had. The staff is very professional and always keeps me informed. My brother loves his room and also the food. I feel very confident that we made the right decision on selecting Sunrise to provide care for my brother

I’m more than pleased with my experience with Sunrise of Lafayette Hill from the thoroughness of the intake process to the quality of care and the facility itself. Finding a place that would meet all my husband’s needs was a long and stressful process but from my first visit to Sunrise I knew that I had finally found a caring and home-like place. I’ve never been disappointed. The real measure of quality has been how Sunrise has managed through this pandemic. The staff have been amazing! I’ve greatly appreciated the extra care they have given my husband. I’ve also been kept apprised of the situation on a weekly basis.

My mother passed away and my 94 year old father needed help with daily living tasks. Sunrise is located 5 minutes from our home so we investigated it and found it to be quite welcoming. The suites are configured in such a way that there is a front room, a short hall with the bath on one side and a kitchenette on the other and a backroom which he uses as his bedroom. The room are sized well so that all of the furniture that Dad brought from his home of 30 years fit comfortably. The staff is very attentive and kind. Additional visits from PT, OT, Speech Pathology, physician, dentist and podiatrist have been maintained even during Covid 19. The staff has done an admirable job with patient safety during Covid. Dad has felt well taken care of during his stay.

We just recently moved my mother and father in law into memory care at Belmont. We cannot say enough good things about all of the staff and facility. From the person at the front desk to the admin to the caregivers everyone has gone above and beyond to help make this a smooth transition. I have to also give extra praise to Christy and Sandy! These ladies are amazing. They truly are an advocate for the family and residents. They are always available to answer our questions and really helped us all through this process. We checked out several assisted living/memory care facilities and Belmont was hands down the best. It is clean and updated. The staff are all amazing. The caregivers and nurses really care and have taken wonderful care of both our parents. If we could give them 10 stars we wood! Thank you Belmont staff!
