Sunrise Senior Living

This was a very good tour and the facility was nice. The rooms however, were very tiny and too small for what I was looking for for my loved one.

They have done a really good job with my loved one and she has improved since she got there. Other family has also said that there loved one has also improved since she got there. My loved one thinks that everyone there is so nice, the residents as well as the staff. My loved one really likes the meals and is eating things that she hasn't had in a while. They do exercise, movies and bingo activities with the residents. My loved one has never said that she wishes she wasn't there and she is happy.

The size of the community and the overall cleanliness of it really stood out to our family. The staff members are extremely friendly and the number of workers there is great, the staff to resident ratio is on point. Unfortunately we do think the activities are still somewhat on hold.

This is a good community and my loved one is very happy here. She is doing really well better than she has done for years. This is going really well.

We had tours at several different communities, and they were all great. The folks at Sunrise of Abington did a great job with our tour. They answered all of our questions. Nothing was held back. They were very honest and forthright.

The activities would be much better but they are limited because of the covid restriction. Our first impression of Sunrise was that it seemed more homey, and that it is non institutional.

Sunrise at Silas Burke House is very clean and everyone is very friendly and helpful. It seems occasionally during dinner they are understaffed. Overall I would definitely recommend to others looking.

Sunrise Assisted Living in Carlsbad is an absolutely wonderful place! We've had our mother her for over a year and we have been extremely pleased with every thing about it. There is a warm, at-home feeling about the place due to the layout where the rooms are close to the front lounge and dining area, and due to the staff who know every resident by name and are always smiling, pleasant, helpful, and professional. Most of them have worked at Sunrise for many years and really seem dedicated to their jobs. The director, [name removed], is truly an exceptional guy. He has an easy-going, accessible demeanor and you feel like you can approach him at any time with questions or concerns. He keeps you very well informed through weekly newsletters, and he goes out of his way to connect with each resident and their family. We also love the app they have where we can see the daily schedule and we also get photo and video updates of our mother! We highly recommend it!

We chose Sunrise of Scottsdale because of the location as well as the room that was available that she would get. She has a 2 bedroom and she is very happy with the size and layout of it. The management really gives you a sense of caring. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

We like this facility but we wanted the city feel for our loved one. On that level we were not impressed. This was just not what we were looking for.

Everything from the moment I arrived until today has been especially pleasant for me. This facility is so very lovely inside and outside and maintained so beautifully. The activities have been fun and even interesting. However, it has been THE PEOPLE who are the best of all - the management, staff, and residents who have all been the reason for my pleasure at this special place and I am so grateful that my son and I have selected this place for me.

Our loved one is very happy with the meals and dining service she says they are very good. At first our loved one was not partaking in the activities and now she is starting to. We do think they are doing a great job incorporating different things everyday for the residents and always encouraging them to get involved.They did have a couple of cases of covid recently with vaccinated people, and the measures they took were extraordinary. They handled it amazingly, they shut everything down and lock down the residents and we know that is tough but they did not left anyone besides those four people test positive. It is expensive but we do feel that our loved one is well looked after, cared for, and clean which you cannot put a price on that.

I like the lay out of the community we picked better than Sunrise. It was still a good tour and facility it just was not what we were looking for.

Have been very impressed with management and staff. Well trained staff, they check on my family member periodically thru the day without having to be called. Management is very proactive in making sure policy and procedures are being followed. When notified of an issue management sees that the issue is addressed promptly. Facility is well kept.

I had the opportunity to work for the same company as your Executive Director, [name removed]. He is an asset to any organization. I have also been fortunate enough to work with both [name removed]and[name removed] They are consummate professionals. I would trust this team with my own Mother.

Sunrise of East Setauket provides outstanding personal care for my mother, who resides in their memory unit. The staff to resident ratio here is very good, allowing a high level of personal interaction and excellent familiarity her needs. They supervise hygiene, medication and weekly observation of her health condition, more so than your typical assisted living facility, placing this unit midway in the continuum between a nursing home and an assisted living program. The residents spend most of their waking hours in a community room where group activities and dining occur. These social interactions are a very effective approach to maintaining the overall health of the residents; I have seen how my mother enjoys and benefits from their social program. Their Activity Director leads songs, bakes food and brings enthusiasm and a big smile into their world 5 days a week: She is simply amazing. In sum, I feel good about my Mom’s placement here and strongly recommend Sunrise of East Setauket.

They are extremely friendly and supportive at this community. There is a lot of activities to do if you want to do it and participate. They also provide a lot of services for the community and residents.

We liked Sunrise of New City a lot. They were very helpful during our selection process. It is pricey, but it looks like you get what you pay for here.

We chose Sunrise because I was looking around and I heard from other people that Sunrise was a very good, clean, and caring facility. My uncle was here for 2 years and had a good experience with them. The room sizes here are really good. All of the staff are very friendly. I would recommend to others looking and already have.
