Sunrise Senior Living

We are very pleased with most everything that they have done at this community. I have nothing negative to say about them and they have been great with my loved one. I have not seen any activities at this time but with my loved one being in memory care I am not sure what all is offered.

This community looked awesome. It feels like you are walking into a casino for the elderly and the greeter is a dog. My feeling is that it was more for people that were more independent and did not need as much care as others.

Sunrise at Fleetwood is a great place for a loved one who needs some help with daily living. The staff is very caring, the food looks good and there are activities going on all day. My sister does not go back to her room until it is time for bed!

This community is friendly and clean. The staff are warm and welcoming. I think that they are struggling with staffing right now but it is just a sign of the times and it seems that everyone is going through this now. Whenever I have an issue and go to the staff they are always very open and accommodating. There were a lot of things that made this community just right for our loved one.

This is a good community for your loved one. it is expensive but it is good and works for our loved one. The staff with what we have needed so far have been very good with out loved one.

Sunrise of Sterling Canyon has been great. The staff here are very friendly and the facility is open and airy. My father in law is loving his experience here and has actually gained weight. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

Our tour at Sunrise of Frisco was very good. We ended up choosing a different facility with a unique program that was a combination of assisted living and memory care, kind of a memory care light, if you will. My mom was experiencing some memory issues but not enough for full-on memory care, which made it more difficult to find a place that was a good fit for her.

The staff members at Sunrise of Fair Oaks are very nice, helpful, caring and really cater to the residents needs. They also have a variety of meals for the residents to choose from.

We checked all Assisted Livings in Scottsdale, and we are blessed to have found the Belmont Village. As an owner of Dementia Care Units in MA, I can tell you, look no further. A great facility with a great team, couldn't ask for better.

My mother has lived in two other assisted livins prior to moving to Sunrise. We now know why Sunrise was recommended to us by so many people! Our sales person was top-notch, walked us through the process and eased our minds of another move for our mom. The caregivers treat our mother as if she is their own and they are now part of our family.

We had a wonderful tour with Sunrise Villa. The only downfall was the location, it was just too far for our family.

I’ve been pleased with all aspects of care at Sunrise of Cresskill. The staff has been consistently communicative and supportive of my father and his adult children. The atmosphere is cheerful and welcoming, and their ability to keep all residents safe and healthy during COVID is impressive.

This community is very much like home and everyone is very friendly. They seem to take very good care of the residents at this community. They have activities like word association, bingo, social hour and alcholic drinks. They also have a lot of karaoke for the residents to sing.

We thought Sunrise of Henderson was amazing. But it was very expensive. And it just felt a little colder and less personal than the community we chose.

Sunrise of Fleetwood is in a great location. It is a very nice facility and my loved one had a good experience for the short time that she was here.

We're happy with Sunrise. It's a clean facility. I think they're properly staffed, and the people there mean well. There are a lot of younger ladies working there as care assistants, and sometimes they rush a little perhaps. Their personalities come out in the way they do their job. Some get in and get it done, while some take a little more time and interact with my mom more gently. But I believe that variation in bedside manner would happen anywhere you go. It has been an adjustment for my mom, and it has taken some back and forth of them getting to know her and her needs, and her getting to know them. My mom also has dementia, so that's thrown some wrenches into her care. But everything has turned out well overall. My mom raves about how good the food is, which is a big plus. And she likes their coffee, which is important. She's chosen not to participate in activities or get involved with people there, although the staff does try to encourage her. It's a bit pricey for me, and the thing that struck me the most about their billing is they have this very sophisticated algorithm where every little thing that happens gets recorded, and the charges for those things are reflected each month. So the bill changes each month. My mom was combative with them early on when they were trying to do things for her. She was very anxious and uncooperative about the Hoyer lift, and because of that, they made sure she had two people to help instead of one, which costs more. But they've found ways to work around needing two people. We've talked about moving her to the memory unit, which they tell me is better suited to care for her needs. But her neurologist prescribed an anti-anxiety medication that seems to have mellowed Mom out and seems to be a good thing. She's not feeling as anxious about every little thing. I appreciated how willing Sunrise was to work with us to come up with different solutions rather than just push Mom up to that higher level of care. They have been really good at working with our primary doctor and specialists to handle her medication management through Kaiser Permanente. I feel very fortunate and blessed that we are able to cover the cost, which I know a lot of people cannot do.

We really liked Sunrise of Buckhead. They were our top choice had our loved one decided to stay in the Atlanta area. The staff was nice, and it was just a friendly community.

My mother was only here for a short time before she passed. The facility and staff were so welcoming and kind. We wish she could've had more time here.

The experience we have had so far as been exceptional. Every time we come to visit the community is always clean, tidy, well kept and organized. It has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere to it. The staff members are very helpful and professional as well as kind and supportive.

This community was my other top choice. It was very homey and a type of environment my loved one would have liked. The staff were also super friendly.
