Sunrise Senior Living

Sunrise is a lovely facility. The grounds are super nice and well kept and the inside has an upscale, fancy feel to it. They knew after we spoke with them that this was not going to be the right fit for dad and that they could not meet our budget, so we appreciated their honesty.

Our family had an in person tour and the staff who gave us the tour were just wonderful, they were full of information which we appreciated. However we just were not in love with this community as much as another we toured, but we still had a great experience.

Our tour at Sunrise of Smithtown was very good. I thought it was a very nice place. It was slightly newer and very clean. It was just a little more expensive than what we were looking for.

Our tour with Sunrise was great. The facility is very nice. The decor is fancier and more up to date. Staff were also very friendly.

Our family had an in person tour and we were very impressed, it is all one floor so easily accessible for the residents. The environment seemed to be very friendly. We really liked how they had a welcoming committee so some of the residents would take the new resident under their wings to help them adjust easier and we wish more communities did that.

I really enjoy living here it's great. I have a wonderful room, the people are very nice, [name removed] is so helpful so is [name removed] and the rest of the people that work here.

So happy that we moved both of my parents into Sunrise of Leawood. The previous assisted living facility was terrible and I was not sure of what to expect. Well Sunrise of Leawood gave me much needed piece of mind. My parents are active in the activities and look forward to the meals in the dining room. The apt is a good size for them. They have become stronger mentally and physically since arriving at Sunrise. Before I was getting calls in the middle of the night and going to the ER weekly. Since moving into Sunrise I have NOT had ONE INCIDENT. They are thriving in their 90's and I am thankful they are there. The staff is very happy, attentive and works well with everyone. THANK YOU SUNRISE!

After looking into many different facilities, Sunrise of Edina was the one that we all liked the best. I would definitely recommend the facility to others looking.

I am so pleased with the professional care my mother has received. She was so resistant at first but acclimated to the environment. Moving throughout the process has been seamless and everyone has been helpful and extremely accommodating. My family is very satisfied that my mother is taken such good care of and has all her needs met and attended too.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked it, the staff we met with were so nice. Everyone who we met with worked there for many years which was a big plus. However, the environment was just to busy, a lot of activities and commotion which we thought would be to overwhelming for our loved one.

Our virtual tour at Sunrise at La Costa was good. The woman who showed us around was lovely and very helpful. My loved one is just very aesthetics driven, and she chose a brand new place over this one, which was a little more dated.

We chose Holiday Hills Estates because of what they provided for the price and the staff members were very friendly. The facility itself is super bright and cheery. They have various sizes of apartments to choose from, she has one of the biggest studios available and it is a great size. I would recommend to others looking.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked this community we wanted our loved ones to move there, but at the time they did not want to move into assisted living. Also the location was a little to far from the primary family members.

Our tour was great and the facility was beautiful. If the location was a little bit closer to us, this would have definitely been our first choice.

We chose Sunrise of Decatur because of the convenient location of the facility as well as the price was right. The room sizes in memory care are nice size, they do offer shared and private rooms. I think it is a wonderful facility and would recommend them to others looking.

Our family had an in person tour and everything was really good if the community was a little bit closer of a drive this would of been our first choice. We really liked how the custom made the rooms to look like little communities. They also entertained the idea of our loved one being able to live on the assisted living side and not over on the memory care side.

Our family has had such a wonderful experience with Sunrise of Wayne, everything there is just top top notch we have no complaints. We love all the different activities that are offered and the community even has an app called Smile where you can see pictures of your loved one and different things going on which we love. Our loved one is a stickler for food and she has yet to complain so we have to think the meals are fantastic. The staff members are just so wonderful and compassionate. They go above and beyond not only for our loved one but for our family, they are always calling to give updates or just to say hi and check in.
