Sunrise Senior Living

I toured Sunrise of Newton and the tour itself was excellent. They gave me all of the information I needed and our tour guide was very great. When touring around, what you want is for someone to be candid about their facility, as well as providing you with all the information you need - and they were excellent in that regard. Our decision to choose another community was locational. There are 3 siblings who are all coming from 3 different places, and geographically the other community was more sustainable for us.

I have been very happy with Sunrise of Palos Park. The facility is extremely clean and everyone has been very friendly. They are having staffing issues just like everyone else - but they are doing their best. She really loves all of the activities that they have provided. She goes to bingo, exercise classes, she gets her hair and nails done, etc. They are very good about covid protocols and security seems to be great. All of the staff are helpful and have been responsive whenever I call. I would definitely recommend Sunrise to other families looking.

The community is set up nicely which we really liked

One thing that really stood out to us and what sort of sealed the deal for our family was just how willing the staff were able to work with us on such a short notice. We have not been there during the activities and we are not sure exactly what our loved ones participates in but we do know the have different things going on. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on our experience so far

They do have some skilled care and it has been great. I would tell others to be aware of what your loved ones needs are and spell it out for them - they may be able to accommodate you. Give the details rather than assuming that they wont be able to provide the care that you need. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of Lafayette Hill to others.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was amazing, it is a beautiful community. We really liked all the activities and socialization they have to offer - we felt if our loved ones health was a little better she would of been able to experience more of what they had to offer. However the pricing scheme was a little discouraging it seemed like there were cases where you could be nickel and dimed. The staff members though were extremely friendly and helpful.

The staff was exceptional. They got my mom up walking and the physical therapists were top notch as were the occupational therapists. The doctor and the nurses she was under the care of were great. We would definitely recommend Sunrise of Lower Makefield.

I have nothing but great things, to say about the community. I am very happy with my decision.

Sunrise of Decatur is a very welcoming community that looks more like resort living - it is very clean and no fowl odors at all. There are more activities then what our loved one can participate in so in terms of activities those are very good. We are very satisfied with the overall value that we are paying.

I am very happy with my experience at Sunrise at River Road. It it always clean and well kept and they are super conscious of infection control. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are thoughtful, patient and very kind and make us all feel at home. In my own case I have a history of fall and they are diligent about keeping me safe. There are plenty of scheduled activities each day so you are able to keep busy if you want to. My favorite thing to do is the word games. The food is chef prepared, I have not had a bite of food that I did not like - it is delicious and served warm and ready to eat daily. Overall it is a night and day difference from my last facility. I would and have highly recommended Sunrise to others that I know.

My loved one, loves the desserts, and the food is good. The food choices is great, and they have appetizers, entrees, and dessert. They take better care of my loved one. The staff is A1, and appear to love what they do and is not there for just a job. The staff is reliable, they seem to care about the residents, and always have them well groomed. Overall, I would recommend this place, to those that can afford it.

I toured Sunrise of Lafayette Hill and it was very nice. We chose another community because it's ten minutes from where I live instead of half an hour. I visit my mom everyday, so it's more conveniently located instead of driving thirty minutes across the turnpike.

They were kind and helpful during the tour. My loved one preferred another community over Sunrise.

I was impressed by the attention and kindness that I received from the staff. [name removed] was helpful finding several places for me to look at which gave me a starting point in the process of finding a place to live.

For my loved one's level of care she needed more advanced care in a memory care facility. They were great and helped her tremendously with the transition and getting her into the further care facility. Staff and everyone were great to her, very caring and attentive. Would relay messages from her day very quickly without any issues. She is slowly adjusting to her new living situation.

Fabulous experience so far for my brother, everything is going great to this point.

Great place. We are very happy we moved to Sunrise New City The facility is very clean, extremely friendly staff. Care services are excellent. I haven't eaten there yet. My mother seems to find it fine. As for activities, very good. My mother attends far more than I thought she would. Sometimes she won't come out of one when I arrive and makes me wait until it is over. I tell everyone who asks that it is a great place! I would definitely recommend over the previous facility we were at.

We toured with Sunrise of Louisville and it went great - we really liked everything that we saw. The atmosphere was vibrant and they seemed to have a lot of great amenities offered for the residents. It was up to my brother and he decided on another facility, but this was one of our top favorites.

I would rate Sunrise at Madison a 5 across the board. My mother is so happy there. She was depressed, lonely and bored at home before going to Sunrise. She has made friends and participates in all different types of fun social activities and events. We are extremely impressed with the variety of things to do. She loves ordering meals off of the menu and said the food is wonderful. The staff are all very nice, friendly, professional and responsive to our questions. It's a beautiful, clean facility. It feels like an upscale college dorm for the elderly. My mother said, "Why didn't I do this sooner?"

We have had an awesome experience. My loved one has three meals per day, and seems to like the food. There is plenty of activities. It is a bit pricey. It has been a wonderful experience, from beginning to his current residency. I have been happy with the staff, environment and overall excellence of the facility. The nursing staff and aides are also great.
