This was a good community and we liked it. We wanted a community that was closer to another family member.

This was a good community. We were concerned with the bad reviews we saw about the management.

I think they are great here, we were delighted. It is a wonderful place and the apartment was precious. [name removed] was very kind to us an everybody was so helpful, it really was the perfect place. My friend decided she was not going to move anymore otherwise this would have been the first choice. I would have moved here myself.

Our loved one is very happy there it has been a wonderful experience that has worked out really well so far. The community from what we can say is really well kept. He says the meals overall are really good but sometimes they just serve to many potatoes. Our loved one does not really participate in the activities but they have a plenty of things posted up for everyone to see. The value for the money is excellent.

The quality of care has been very good, the nursing staff has such tight coordination with the doctors which has been great. The staff are very responsive and attention to the residents and always call the residents by their name. You can see all the playful banter between to co-workers, you can tell they are happy to be working there. When you see how satisfied and positive the staff are it trickles on down to the residents.

Only complaint about the food was "too many peas". 4 is only because sometimes her weekly room cleaning was delayed. They did an amazing job though with the staffing issues everyone is facing. Mom really liked the people and activities

The staff are great. I am there quite a bit and I love how they treat and interact with the residents. My mom loves it there - I would definitely recommend Sunrise at Sterling Canyon.

This is a wonderful place. The staff helped to make it a wonderful place as well for my loved one. This overall is a five star experience. There is nothing we don't like about the community There are three meals a day served to the residents along with snacks. There are choices for the residents to choose from.

We had a minor ear infection issue occur. My loved one was respite care meaning I was away. I had to coordinate an urgent care visit while out of of the area. Very stressful. Something I thought the house physician could have handled with a phone evaluation and Rx called in to a pharmacy.

I can give a 5 to all plus the beauty of the home but for menu selections. Covid time did not help w that though. The staff is loving

We had a very good tour experience with Sunrise of Schaumburg. It looked like a great place and seemed to be top notch from what I saw. It was a little more expensive - otherwise this would be where he would have gone. I was very impressed with everything.

We decided on Sunrise because I got a great deal and the location of the facility was great for our family so we could spend more time with him. They were understaffed so that did affect the quality of care and time they were able to spend with residents - but that was no fault of their own. They did have many activities provided and those who were able to participate in them took part in them. I still think it is one of the best facilities in the area and I would absolutely recommend them.

I liked the way the facility is more of a home setting instead of a hospital or nursing home setting, that's what I really enjoyed most about the place. I would describe the staff as very friendly and very compatible with the residents there. They show that they're very caring towards them. They were personable with my husband; they were overall excellent, and I wish he could've stayed there.

It is expensive but a lot of our loved ones needs are met and there are a lot of opportunities for our loved one to get involved which is what we wanted. Overall she really enjoys the meals and dining experience are there are a ton of different activities for the residents to get involved in. We know our loved one is well taken care of, in a safe environment with caring staff. There are also a lot of conveniences we like - it is close in location and they have a doctor that comes to the community once a week.

the staff at sunrise go above and beyond. My mother was in independent living for 9 years and is now in assisted. Her care is amazing and feel so safe having her there. I truly never have to worry

The entire staff at Sunrise consistently went above and beyond to ensure y father had a positive experience. The environment the staff created was one of a family. I can't say enough how appreciative my entire family is regarding my fathers experience at Sunrise

The care managers are extra helpful, they really care. [name removed] who has been with the company for 17 years, she can help with everything. Facility is top notch.

Sunrise cares for their residents with respect, kindness and genuine concern and caring. The directors and staff treat all resident as a family unit. I know my mom is in the best of hands.
