I give Sunrise of Columbia 5 plus stars, the experience was great. The staff are just fabulous, each and every one of them. They are super caring and accommodating. A lot of places the staff turnover rate is high, but here I found that a lot of the staff had been here 15-20 years so they really care about what they are doing. I would not place family members anywhere else but Sunrise and would HIGHLY recommend the facility to others.

The recent price hikes really suck. Because of these unexpected price hikes for example $50 a day they're going to be pricing my brother right out of that home. Because of this reason, I would not recommend Sunrise of Chesterfield to others.

[name removed] and [name removed] were so very kind and hospitable. The community is so clean and the staff look so happy to work there. [name removed] holds such care and positivity when she comes to work and it’s comforting to see someone like that being in her role as the leader of the building.

They took very good care of my mother while she was here. She got quality, top-notch care from the beginning all the way until the end. They allowed hospice to come in and were great to work with. I think It is a great facility to be at and they really felt like family. I would highly recommend Sunrise of Shelby Township to others.

I would recommend the community for assisted living to others for their loved ones. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and the care of the family and our loved one was fantastic. The staff communication with the family was very good. They made sure to answer our questions quickly, and were very upfront and made sure that we knew what was going on with our loved one or any changes.

The facility was very clean - also laid out well to maximize opportunities for social interactions. The staff were so helpful, very approachable and supportive. I was navigating all of this from another state - they were very helpful in giving me comfort from afar!

At least one family member sees her father once a day and every experience at Sunrise has been great. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

The facility is very clean and well taken care of. The staff works well with the patients and show they care. I would recommend Sunrise of Lafayette Hill to others.

I have been extremely pleased with the level of thoughtful care, attention and supervision that my mother has received by the team of caregivers at Sunrise of San Mateo! My mother, who is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's disease, wheelchair bound and cannot care for herself, has resided in the Reminiscence memory care area for nearly 5 years. Sunrise of San Mateo's Reminiscence program provides a caring, comfortable, and secure home like environment for adults experiencing moderate to advanced memory loss. The team of caregivers are trained, caring individuals that provide my mother with the thoughtful care and attention she requires and needs. I am thankful that my mother resides at Sunrise of San Mateo and find it comforting that she is surrounded by people that are thoughtful, capable, caring, well trained and genuinely invested in the well being of their residents!

My mother has been here for almost 6 years. The care she has received has been excellent. I am able to relax because I know my mom is in great hands. They communicate with me thoroughly. The staff is terrific. The food is good. The events they have for holidays are enjoyable. The entertainment for the residents is also very good.

I toured this facility briefly and it is beautiful. The guy that assisted us here was very nice. I prefer a smaller facility that is only Memory Care and this facility is large and has more than just Memory Care.

My loved one has been very happy here. It's a fantastic place. Not only has my loved one felt very safe and secure here, but also very at home. The staff has made sure that they make him feel like part of the family. The manager has been a tremendous help with my loved one's dog. I would absolutely recommend this facility to family and friends.

This was a nice community. It was more expensive that we wanted.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a very nice tour experience based on what we saw and all the staff members we spoke with

We could not be happier with Sunrise of West Bloomfield. Great personal care, immaculate always, great caring staff.

Things seem to be going well here for mom, overall. They're very kind to her and taking care of her. They have a lot of caring staff and it's a good value. Mom has mentioned that she's tired of them serving the same things for meals, so I wish they would have more variety. She does, however, love the soups. I think they're homemade. Activities are ok, but I think they could use to be updated and have more variety. It seems like mostly babysitting, not a whole lot of engagement. Which is hard for mom since her Dementia is mild. Initially they told us that she would be able to participate in the Assisted Living activities, but that's only happened a couple of times, which is kind of disappointing. One thing I wasn't aware of when we signed up is that they ask for 2 months rent in advance, so we've basically been a month behind in billing. I wish that would have been disclosed and made very known upfront. But overall things are good and I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I thought Sunrise of Marlboro was great. We had a tough decision between them and another facility, which we chose because the location was more convenient for our family. But the staff at Sunrise was very warm, welcoming, and caring. And they were very detail-oriented. Every question I had was answered, including questions I didn't even know I had!

This was a beautiful community with great grounds, and a warm environment. The community didn't have the ability to provide the care that my loved one most likely would need in the future.

My wife was there only seven hours, but the service was thumbs up.

The gal who was giving us the tour did a phenomenal job. We found the facility to not be near as lively as we would have liked. It was pretty quiet. We toured during lunch time and the residents were not socializing with one another. That was not appealing for what my parents wanted.
