Sometimes slow responding when my mom pushes her pendant for help. Had a hard time with how the bills come out. Staff is wonderful. Very helpful and even give their cell phone numbers out. Honestly the only staff related issue I had was last week after 8. My mom has severe allergies and was swelling up and it to the nurse 30 minutes to arrive. Thankfully we have epi pens and benedryl.

I have recently visited a family member over at Sunrise of East Setauket. I was very impressed on how clean and beautiful the facility is. The staff there are very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely got a good vibe that my Uncle is in good hands. I definitely would recommend this facility to family and friends!

Hello, At 83 years old, you come to appreciate the little things — someone remembering your name, checking on you, helping you laugh on difficult days — and this place does all of that and more. It is a small facility but feels like home and I would highly recommend this assisted living facility. All the staff from the director to the front desk, to the kitchen staff, to medical/nursing staff, every single person has been so kind and caring and genuine with my grandmother. I am so relieved and happy we chose this place as her new home. She raves about how delicious the food is. The facility is always clean. The staff are all so welcoming and helpful. 10 out of 10

Staff is so friendly and they get to know the residents and the families. A real relationship is formed. They encourage residents to participate in activities in order to keep them active and engaged. The facility is well maintained and issues that arise are attended to.

I made the choice myself with input from my two sons. The unit I chose was more spacious than others we had viewed with excellent closet space. We were pleased with the common areas and found the people very pleasant.

Sunrise is a beautiful facility and our tour guide [Name Removed] was very informative. We had many living options for our loved one but it turned out to be location that brought us to another place.

I would tell anyone looking that meal times are very early. I'm trying to adjust now but it's difficult for me.

My brother and I believe our mother is receiving excellent care at Sunrise of Cascade. We compare to her care at another facility and there's no comparison. We are very happy at Sunrise.

I recently toured Sunrise Senior Living in East Setauket for my mother, who has been very apprehensive about moving into assisted living. I stopped in without an appointment to schedule a tour and was immediately greeted by a sweet and accommodating concierge who quickly connected me with someone from the sales team. From the moment we started the tour, I was so impressed by how warm and welcoming the community felt. The sales representative knew everyone by name, and residents and staff constantly stopped to say hello and introduce themselves. The community was cheerful, clean, and full of caring people. You can truly feel the positive atmosphere the moment you walk in. This visit really changed our perspective, and I would highly recommend Sunrise East Setauket to anyone looking for a caring and supportive community for a loved one.

I recently visited my mother in law in assisted living here. She is doing so well, esp. from a year ago when she moved in. It's night and day. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They are always having live music or just a nice get-together in the afternoon. I would recommend it!

Mom loves the people, loves the care and enjoys being there. Her apartment is always spotless as is the hallways and any other part of the facility I've gone to. For the most part food, but we have gone for special events and the food has been cold because I think they put them in the "warmers" and Pile the food too high to keep warm. Mom is not interested in most activities and some of that is her fault but also some sound very boring.

The staff is kind and caring. They show true compassion for the residents and family. The quality of the food can be better. The nutritional value could be better. The everyday menu lacked healthy options aside from a salad. As a guest I did not feel the meal was a good value or something I wanted to pay for. I also heard residents complaint about the lack of choices .

The Mother’s Day celebration was very nicely done and appreciated by mom and I. She’s only been here 6 weeks and loves the place When I visit, mom always tells me how great the food is every day. And she loves the staff
