Staff was very friendly. Facility was very well maintained. The manager was very polite and informative. The grounds were beautiful. I would feel very comfortable with my family members living there.

My Mom lived at Garden Square at Westlake for 3 years until her recent passing in July at 99 years of age. She was treated with so much kindness, compassion, friendliness, and respect !!! She had dementia but never felt uncomfortable because of the atmosphere that the Director and her amazing staff continue to provide for every resident that lives in their community. Typically they have live music 1-2 times per week, they have exercise classes and therapy sessions available for anyone interested. They also schedule family events to engage families of the residents to encourage them to join their loved ones as well. There are daily activities. The building is very clean, plus it has just been repainted in the interior common areas and there is new furniture in the common areas both interior and exterior. The Director has 20+ years of experience as a head nurse and combines that with her extensive administrative experience to bring so much expertise and energy to this community !!

Staff is exceptional-caring and committed. Facility is welcoming and well maintained. Room is a little small.

[names removed] were wonderful! Tour of Sunrise and explanation of the move in and life were well explained. I think my brother will be very happy here. Looking forward to him using the different facilities and participating in the activities. Thank you!

My husband is in Memory Care Unit and not with the Assisted Living population. So this pertains to Memory Care. He has a Mechanical diet due to swallowing issues. They were the only ones who offered outright to make arrangements for his transfer to Sunrise by having the necessary equipment sent to them such as a hoyer, a commode, a wheelchair and a hospital bed. The others told me if I wanted a hospital bed for him I could do it. Sounded like it was on me to make arrangements. He needed a two-person transfer and the other places only could commit to a one-person transfer. Sunrise said they could do it.

What we like the most about the community is the care and the cleanliness. Yes, we would recommend Sunrise of Plymouth Beach to other families.

I was very impressed with the rooms, the general layout and the staff. It is truly a very clean facility and it is beautiful as well! They offer various types of activities for the residents. The quality and variety of meals was also impressive! It was obvious that the residents are treated very well and they appear relaxed and happy! My only regret is that rooms are unfurnished.

Our tour guide was friendly and answered our many questions. The interior was attractive and well kept. The common room arrangements were well planned. The apartments were attractive. I especially liked the floor to ceiling windows that let in a lot of light. This is a smaller facility than others we toured, but I liked the intimacy and shorter hallways.

I made sure to talk to my Mom's care team each time I stopped in. They were always so excited to report on her progress. In the beginning Mom didn't like it there because it was unfamiliar she was pretty confused. The staff was so patient with her and they were able to get her to the dining room for meals and found a group for her to sit with on a pretty regular basis. They encouraged her to go on walks, join Bingo and even come downstairs for the parties (DJ, etc). Mom was happy to go home in the end but she still talks about how wonderful the people were and how much fun she was able to have in the end. This is a beautiful facility with all of the services that we are looking for, particularly multiple spacious apartment style options. I was pleasantly surprised to find critically desired amenities nearby, such as the library, Severna Park community center, B and A trail, St John's church, and shopping for our more independent senior.

My husband and I met with [name removed] to tour the facility and get all the information. She was fantastic! [name removed] was the perfect person to give a first impression of the organization. The facility was excellent and we are very impressed.

What we like the most about the community is that overall it is a good organized group of medical doctors and specialists. Yes, we would recommend Sunrise of North Wales to other families based on the experience!

My brother was the one who was able to tour Brighton Gardens. He was impressed with all that he saw and those he talked with. We are moving mom here tomorrow and we’re all relieved that she will be in a safe place that still allows a feeling of home.

All the staff were friendly and greeted us warmly and we had a nice tour. It is a convenient location for Dallas, too. Unfortunately, the smallest studio apartment was the best my friend could afford so we're looking elsewhere.

I loved the community they have a lot to offer the residents. Many activities to choose from daily, they do outings, nice selection of food choices at every meal. They have emergency cords in every room and from my experience with my family member the time answering was 5 minutes. They have weekly laundry service and clean apartments weekly as well. They are all caring compassionate people that do care about the residents and making them comfortable.

When my mom’s health declined quickly and we could no longer care for her at home, a close family friend recommended Sunrise Assisted Living. From the start, we experienced the same warmth and quality of care she had described. The culture at Sunrise is caring, family-oriented, and supportive. Staff clearly help one another, and it’s evident they are thoughtful about who they hire—many caregivers have been there for over 10 years. The team was incredibly supportive during my mom’s transition and through some very difficult moments. When my mom passed away, the in-house hospice team provided compassionate, seamless care that made the process easier for both her and our family. As a healthcare business owner myself, Sunrise reflects the kind of culture I strive to create—people who genuinely care, work as a team, offer engaging activities, and provide good food. I am truly grateful for the care my mom received and would highly recommend Sunrise.

When we did have things we needed adjusted or to personalize for my parent they were quick to listen and respond to make the adjustments.
