Overall I am very pleased with Sunrise Independent Living. The staff is extremely efficient and very pleasant. Newcomers are made to feel welcome and part of the community.

This community is lovely. The staff, the food, and the activities really bring so much light to the residents that live here. Their memory care has a beautiful patio where residents can sit and watch the birds or do some gardening.

I have lived here for about a year now and it has been a joy. The staff are very patient, kind, and helpful. I enjoy talking with and getting to know the other residents that live here. I also like the variety of activities offered. I really enjoy morning exercise with Bayada. I also like when we have outings. Just the other day we went for a bus ride through local neighborhoods to look at Christmas lights. My favorite meal in the dining room is breakfast, where I enjoy a bagel, OJ, and coffee pretty much every morning.

I have lived here since April of 2023 and it has been a wonderful experience being here so far. The staff are very helpful and always pleasant. I typically eat breakfast in my room because I enjoy my cereal, OJ, and coffee while I read the news paper in my rope and slippers. I do go down for lunch and dinner and enjoy socializing with the other ladies that live here. My favorite meals served are the Glazed Ham and Beef Stroganoff. When I am not socializing in the dining room, I do value my quiet time and peace in my room reading and doing puzzles. I am looking forward to trying out morning exercise with Bayada, as well as walking club in the spring and summer months.

I toured the community for my mom and I was very impressed with the warmth I felt walking in. Residents were involved in activities and were happy. I could tell the staff knew the residents and were involved as well. The building was clean and welcoming. The longevity of the staff was also very impressive. The staff were kind and very knowledgeable, very helpful.

Staff is kind and caring. My mom is happy and well cared for. I am kept up to date on her health and any issues by the director. The nurses are exceptional and make the residents feel special. I would recommend this facility.

We recently toured this facility looking at options for my in-laws. When we walked in the residents were being entertained by a piano player. The staff were singing a long with the residents. This kept a lasting impression in my mind of the seemingly warm relationships at this facility.

I'm in the industry and this community just has a warm and welcoming feeling walking in the door. The house cat, the activities, the grounds, the people, the administrator, the nursing staff are great. They make it a great place to collaborate services with for the residents.

The staff is kind, consistent and caring. My mom is engaged in activities and considers Sunrise of Holbrook her home. She is happy here. It gives me comfort knowing she is getting great care. The grounds are well kept, decorated for all the holidays. Families are always welcome. Great place.

My wife needed the care and Sunrise of Holbrook became our family. This was the best decision we could have made. The staff are kind and attentive. The building is beautifully kept and there is always something to do or someone to talk to. We are home.

Vibrant community! Highly recommend for anyone seeking an engaging environment.

Good choice, good food, good option if you want to stay in Danville.

Everything went smooth, the staff seem knowledgeable and most attentive to the residents' needs. This was for my wife's Mother. My wife really took a liking to [name removed], and I myself appreciated her presentation. She was a big factor in my wife's decision. Her Mom is comfortable with her placing. I would recommend this facility to others.

I really enjoy living at Sunrise of Westtown. The community is kept clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy the food served in the dining room. I would say my favorite meal is breakfast. I also like the activities we have here. I am really looking forward to what our new Director of Activities can bring to the table. I think he will be really good. I am a big singer. I love to sing and love to listen to others sing. I also played the violin years ago, so hopefully we can get someone in here again to play for us soon.

I actually told my wife if I need to someday go to a Senior care facility to choose that one. Initially we picked them because on our tour how the place looked nice and most importantly the demeanor of the residents. They seemed happy, engaged and one resident even approached us and was telling us how they loved it there. We felt seeing the residents this way was a good indication how the staff and management treated them.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The place feels like home. My aunt has made many friends and is very happy there. The place is very festive during all the holidays. There are celebrations every month for birthdays.

The atmosphere at this place is so lively and fun. Everyone is smiling and the residents look very happy. I am a healthcare worker and have patients here.

I am a professional in the industry & Sunrise at Mt Vernon provides a warm & inviting atmosphere with a caring staff! [name removed], the Director of Sales, is great! It’s an intimate community with nice appointments & the newly renovated apartments are a great edition, very spacious.

The staff has been wonderful and helpful with my parents. They truly care and make it a family. [name removed] at the front desk has been going above and beyond with my parents making sure they feel welcome! She also has helped with appointments and serving in the dining room when needed and I am sure a million other things that nobody notices. [name removed] has also helped us with the learning curve of having a new environment.
