I work for a prominent agency that provides PT and OT. I can say this facility is clean, very comfy atmosphere. Food is great and the residents look very happy and well taken care of.

I place many families in facilities. I have had a great working relationship with this property. They provide resources and great information to my clients. Several have moved in and been very happy.

I work with many patients who have lived here. They staff is caring and communicative. They are on top of concerns and many of the families I work with are happy.

I toured this facility and had a great experience. Everyone was friendly and smiled. I received a wealth of information.

We have had an outstanding experience for our loved one in Assisted Living Memory Care at Sunrise in Edina. The staff has been caring, compassionate and engaging. The care has been exemplary. As needs have changed, the staff and nursing team has proactively engaged our family and provided good options and solutions to meet our specific situation and advancing needs. The facility is attractive, well lit, and beautifully maintained. We have found, the staff to be competent, caring and accountable.

My mother entered Sunrise in October 2023 and both she and our family were met with a warm, caring, and knowledgeable staff. As a family, we have open and regular communication with the staff. Sunrise is a beautiful and modern residence with a host of wonderful activities for all to enjoy. I highly recommend Sunrise of Shrewsbury.

The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, thanks to incredible staff who truly care, luxurious interior design, and consistently friendly, capable and conscientious care.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. ALWAYS visible doing their jobs. I've had the food on two occasions and I recognize that it is prepared for the residents and not the outsiders. I'm sure it's more favorable to them. I would recommend this facility to others.

Weil located on Maple Ave in Vienna . New facility - first rate , wonderfully decorated , four floors , gym , theater , meeting rooms , TV areas ; and , a large well appointed dining room. The room choice ranges from a spacious studio to a large two bed room . The food is outstanding with an extraordinary chef who regularly meet with diners . Perhaps the thing that makes Sunrise so outstanding is the staff . Very professional , yet warm and caring ,and always present . In just a few days you will feel like family . Sunrise attracts those who understand and appreciate living in a first class facility in their senior years. It's a great crowd of residents !

My parents recently moved into Independent Living. They love it so far! The residents are friendly , the staff is great, and the food is even good! It gives us peace of mind that they are not all alone anymore. The community is very clean and they have made some really nice improvements recently in renovations since we had visited the first time before Covid.

I have been up to the facility quite a few times and I have not seen activities that get the residents involved. There is a calendar posted that says what activities are being offered but I don’t see anything going on except resident sitting and watching TV. There was one event, a Thanksgiving brunch that was held and the assisted living area was really set up. I paid to attend the event , but when I went up to the third floor to the memory care area nothing was set up. No one on the third floor knew about the brunch. I was quite disappointed because I was not the only family that attended and Beautiful we had to go downstairs to get our meal and bring it back up to the third floor which really was not acceptable .from my understanding I was told that the memory care residents and assisted living residence interacted but I never saw interaction. It really seems that the memory care patients are always isolated and the only time the memory care patients go out is when family/friends comes to take them out. I feel there should be more activities that gets the memory care patients involved and interacting with others not just the patients that are in the memory care area. I would like to say that the staff working in the memory care area excellent.

Everybody is very helpful and attentive to my needs. The staff come and check making sure I am okay. I haven't participated in activities yet since I'm still getting myself acclimated to my new environment. So far i am very happy and satisfied with my new place.

There's no place like home, but Sunrise of Chevy Chase has welcomed my mom and made her feel comfortable in her new home. The staff is caring, kind and friendly. They engage with residents and treat them like family. The Wellness team is attentive to the resident's needs. Even though my mom cannot participate in most of the AL activities, there is plenty for the residents to do on a daily basis. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and our experience has been very pleasant.

Everyone was very friendly, helpful and caring. I believe that they genuinely cared about my loved one. Communication was very good and they tried to see to our concerns. The nursing staff called us pretty quickly whenever my loved one had taken a fall. I did have a difficult time understanding the nurses accent, though. They always had some activity going on, which was nice. However my loved one didn't participate in most of them. We did attend a few family events, which were very nice. We enjoyed our time together. Moving in and out was good. The food was good too. Although my loved one liked to go out to eat. At one point they were down in help in the kitchen and dining room, so the wait for food was very long. I hope they found help. I'm very happy that we had my loved one placed there overall. Place was clean and looked up to date décor wise. And it didn't smell like some other places we considered, like a nursing home or hospital.

Facility is very homey. My dad was legally blind and other facilities were so monotone, that was not a good fit for us. Staff A++ [name removed] and [name removed] so helpful in very rough time, I needed to get him into a safe place asap and they made that happen.

Not sure I'd recommend right now as there seems to be a change in staff mood like a management change coming. I also worry that the only time interaction with residents is at meal & medicine time. Meals are way too salty!!

I love it here, what can I say? Everything is compact. Everyone is helpful and friendly. The food is great and I enjoy every meal. I haven't been participating in activities yet, but I will once everything is situated in my apartment.

Overall the community is very clean, however, 3-4 in his room, especially the bathroom. The staff on 3rd floor Rem Unit definitely gets a 5 on the friendliness. [name removed] and [name removed] are exceptional! When it comes to the meals and dining service, no choice options. For the activities on the the memory care unit, they do their best for the residents. Not an easy option. My Dad can no longer participate in activities. It is becoming quite costly for the level of care my Dad needs. May have to consider alternatives outside of Sunrise community.

The staff is caring and friendly and look out for the residents. They try to keep the facility engaging with activities and willing to listen to suggestions.

Sunrise is a great place. The staff professional, and attentive, and the facilities are always clean and neat.
