I can’t rate the activities because my loved one isn’t able to participate in them. My only real complaint with them is that my loved one started with a two week respite care – then became a long term resident. The billing is still a little messed up. There was a little bit of an acclimatization period.

They have a nursing care unit that Medicare will pay for. They don’t have snacks available all day long. They were pretty nice though and we considered them. Being able to age in place might be something that appeals to some people.

We recently moved Mom from an Independent assisted living facility to Elmcroft. Mom is showing early signs of Dementia and maybe Alzheimer and for her safety sake we felt it was time. It is a difficult change for Mom, but the folks at Elmcroft are very sweet and a great help with the transition. We changed our minds on Mom's room several times before the actual move-in and Elmcroft was very accommodating to our requests. Mom is happy with the room we finally selected. Elmcroft also has very nice outdoor areas with plenty of seating. Mom & I spent a lovely evening out in one of the patios for her birthday. It was so nice to be able to enjoy the evening, it felt comfortable and relaxing.

I toured this location when I was looking into care options for my loved one. This was a very nice looking community, and I was impressed by the tour. The person who showed me around was very friendly, and the food they served for lunch was good. However, this was a much more "comprehensive" style community, and would have provided a lot of care that my loved one didn't really need at this point, and the price reflected this, it was much more expensive.

Great location and loved the staff & facility. Very similar to the Folsom location. Only studios available now - too small! No counter space in bathroom. 2nd choice.

This was a very nice place. The staff are very friendly, and the facility and living areas are attractive and clean looking. For those with more self-sufficient loved ones I'd rate this place a 5, however my Uncle was needing a bit more care. They do provide care here, but in general it seems to cater to a crowd with a lower level of care than what my Uncle needed.

They're making some changes. They're changing how they distribute medication which could cost a little more. They're also changing how people pay but that wont affect us until next year. The care services are great. The activities seem to be great. My mother has Alzheimer's so she doesn't participate but the people who do participate seem to be happy with them. I wasn't thrilled with when we were moving in. Someone was supposed to be helping us. I would email her and call her and I never got a response. Finally we worked around her and found somebody else. She's still working there as far as I know.

My dad didn't like it. He thought it was too snooty. I don't know how else to say it. It was really, very expensive. It was almost $1000 a month more for the same things that my dad is getting at his community.

Everyone has this idea of one on one care but that's not going to happen when it's one-on-twelve. But the care is very good. There are awesome people there, especially their activities director - she's an angel. They have a lot of stimulating things going on throughout the day. They have a calendar of thins. They don't always follow the calendar but they always have something going on (music, arts and crafts, etc.). You're working with dementia here so you don't really get an opportunity to do planned activities with dementia. They do the best they can and they do have a lot of simulating things. They are always in the same room and interacting with each other.

It was very good. It was very clean and the care was good. The food was good to. My mother liked it as much as someone can like being in a place like that and not being home.

They have things like bingo over there and they had a luau. Lots of different activities. My mom would rather be at her house but she's being taken care of. The food is good.

Clean, friendly staff, no available rooms at this time. Remodeling. Pricing a little high for us.

We liked the facility. It may be a fit for our sister. She would have to visit and look at it for herself. No younger residents, all over 80 whereas Emeritus had some younger residents.

We toured with Sterling Court Roseville and it was a good tour and the facility was very clean and nice. The downfall was the room sizes. We looked at the one bedroom apartment and it was very, very small. It was not doing to meet his needs which is why we decided against this facility.
