We toured this community and found that staff to be caring and nice. The community was clean and well maintained. They offer a good variety of meals. We like the activities that were available. This is a community worth the tour and we recommend families to see for themselves for a value and care for a loved one.

When I toured the Elmcroft of LA Mesa, I did not get a good gut feeling about the place. It was very quiet. The building itself was very nice and all of the staff were very friendly, but it was not what we were looking for.

The Brookdale was nice but it seemed like there were more men than women. Also, the manger who took us around talked directly to my brother and me. My mother did not like that, she felt like he wasn't interested in her needs.

My mom was only at this community for a short period of time but while she was there everything seemed to run very smoothly for her. I really liked how peaceful the environment was, there was never any loud noises and everyone was very pleasant to be around that lived there. I have to say a big thank you to the staff and all of the genuine support and love they provided my mom.

I went to visit my mother during Christmas, and the place was very nice. All of the staff were friendly, and the place seemed to be very well maintained. The food was good as well. So far, it's been a good fit for my mother.

This community is a good fit for my dad and is close to my sister and I. I have not seen any problems with how they keep his room and community clean. My dad is not doing many activities that is available but we encourage the exercise class. I find that the women are more social and active here. All the staff are overall pretty good and a good match for my dad. He gets a variety of meals to choose from and it is soft for the most part. From what I have seen the meals are fair and pretty good.

I toured this community for my parents and their needs. It was a nice tour, and everything went well. They treated my parents and I very well. The staff was friendly and nice. The community looked nice. It was a good experience.

My parents moved out of this community. Unfortunately it wasn't good fit for them and their needs. The community is nice, and everyone was kind and friendly. They really tired their best to care for them. It was a good experience, and this would be a nice community for the right person.

The staff was excellent and very kind during our tour, they gave us a lot of useful information of the community. It was our first choice until I found out that they had no transportation for residents in wheelchairs. My loved one would not be able to participate in any field trips, and would not be provided a ride to any doctor appointments.

It has been quite nice for my mom and I am happy with the care that is provided. She has kind staff and they are welcoming with guests. They seem to be easy to communicate with. My mom likes the meals they make. The community also has activities and she has done a few. I would recommend this place to a friend in need.

Recently my brother got sick and he is now at their health center. The people there are wonderful and the therapist is great too. When buzzed they come right away. When my brother was living in the community I would visit often and I would leave notes on the door with what he needs. I also notice they take about 30 minutes to respond to the buzzer. On the weekend they do not have enough staff. Overall it is a nice place and the staff are nice but I expected better from them.

This was a good community overall. The main issue I had with this community is that the staff did not take care of my husband's personal needs as well as they should have. I do not think they were trained well and some of them seemed lazy. They have something to do every hour of the day. They were great socialization. They had good looking meals and they kept the community clean.

Brookdale Sterling Court is a very nice community. They keep the community very clean. The care staff is extremely nice. The administrative staff is a little disorganize. Overall we love it here.

My father in law was at this community for a short time before he moved due to his medical issues. The staff were nice however we did have an issue where he went outside and no one knew he had left the building. The food was alright and the community was well taken care of.

My brother is really loving this community. We are very happy with everything they have done for us. It was a very good move for him. We know he is receiving good care and is in good hands. It is a good looking facility, they do a pretty good job with the cleaning. The staff have been good and very helpful. He is trying some activities and making some new friends. He is pleased with the food. Overall everything is working out well.

We have had an issue with maintenance taking longer than we would have liked to address some issues. Housekeeping day keeps changing, which is also a bit frustrating. The staff in the front are very nice and it seems really clean. So far I haven't heard any complaints about the food and he seems to enjoy it. Overall we have been pretty happy with it.

My mother stayed here for a short respite visit and during her visit she seemed to be happy and doing fine. The staff seemed very nice and they were very accommodating to make her feel comfortable. My mom said the food tasted good and she was able to mingle and socialize with other residents and made new friends along the way.

My mother is doing very well here at this facility. It is a very well-kept community, my mother is pleased with the cleanliness. The staff have been very helpful and kind. There are many activities for her to participate in, she has tired a few. The food is okay, it isn't best, but it is a well balanced meal. The servers are pleasant and really try their best. I know she is safe and being cared for well. I would recommend this facility.

I would recommend this community as it is one of the few communities in the area that offer convalescent care and injectables. They offer activities however my friend does not yet participate in them. The building is clean and well taken care of. The only thing I have a small concern about is the staff does not seem to respond to residents calls in a timely manner.

My loved one has been here in assisted living for 3 weeks. So far her care has been good. The staff all seem to know her from as soon as she moved in. She says they treat her well and everyone is very nice. My only critique is that we(three of us who take care of her) were not told about basic procedures regarding nurse procedures and doctor visits, because we have been seeing a few doctors these past weeks. Also, no one came to welcome her as a new resident. I would have thought someone would have been there to make her feel more at ease.
