I was very impressed with the knowledge and 10+ years of seasoned management and nursing staff at Danbury. I visited over 7 communities, and this one is on the top of my list if my mom needs a secured environment down the road. My mom loved gardening, and it is beautifully landscaped and maintained with the input and help of the Executive Director and residents! I am an artist and was thrilled to see a paint and sip party with a large group after 5pm while visiting.

Our experience w Story Point has been truly positive. The staff are very friendly, stopping to talk w residents in the hallways, calling them by name, and always asking if there’s anything they can help with. Quick response times w call buttons are appreciated and necessary. Each resident is greeted by the chef. He asks about likes, dislikes, and portion sizes. The food and menu selection is restaurant 5 star. Story Points is in a wonderful location and the facility itself is beautiful. [name removed] is knowledgeable about everything or can find out quickly. She is wonderful. I highly recommend Story Point for assisted living especially after moving my husband in/out of previous facilities that did not meet our expectations or needs. I classify Story Point as an acute care assisted living facility as they are able to care for residents w extra care needs.
