I’m not sure what causes this location to lose so many great employees. Even well before Covid, it seems like I would talk to my mother daily and she would frequently tell me that sadly one of her “Favorites” was no longer there. She had a great bond with the Executive Director “A” and the shuttle driver , “ J”. It’s unfortunate that great employees can’t be retained.

Most departments never have enough help and those people have to work 10 to 12 hours a day. This is ridiculous and you'll burn these people out. Why can't a organization like this keep full staff at all times, in these times were in now you have to pay people more to keep them interesting in coming to work everyday.

Our family had an in person tour and just based off the tour we did not really care for it - we just got that feeling our loved one would not adjust well there.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice community but nothing that really stood out to us.

Clean, safe, friendly, 40+ year community. Variety of activities offered to residents..

I appreciate the services offered for my mother. I often find her her hearing aids not charged or not on her, I find her clean and dressed and well fed. Unclear about what medicines she is taking and how many. Overall, we are content with how mom is cared for.

Sometimes the care services we needed were great, and other times when we needed something we would have to wait awhile. Due to the covid pandemic they were short staffed so the care wasn't always consistent.

There are very little activities, the food is so so. It is quiet and the staff are nice. It is a very quiet community. I would guess that it is not fully occupied and that is why it is a little more quiet. There are not a lot of residents here.

If your loved one can take care of themselves this would be an average community. If your loved one needs extra care, I wouldn't recommend the community. They use Visiting Angels as a service for care for the residents.

Two years ago this was a 5 star community. Unfortunately Covid came along changed the world. While our staff is still top notched, the food is not as good and the maintenance our building has declined. The carpers in our halls and elevators are a disgrace. I still am happy to live here.

I don't think the food is that great. All the places you visit say "Oh our food is the best." But theirs is very basic. And really the whole dining experience was one of the main things I was concerned about when looking for a place for my loved one. I wanted to make sure that he would eat. They have set dining times here, which is fine, and that works for most people. But I thought it was a window of time where you could come in, when in reality you have to be there at the beginning of that window to place your order. And if you miss it, you're kind of out of luck. They will work with you and help you out, but that was kind of disappointing to find out. What has been good is we spent a long time getting ready to move and ordered a lot of things. Those things all arrived, and they put them directly in his room, which was very convenient. They were in a bit of a transition when we first moved in, so there wasn't always someone at the font desk, but there is now. Which is important to be able to ask questions. This has been a good learning experience for us, differentiating between independent and assisted living. The care organization they have on staff as a preferred provider I haven't actually worked with, but when we were originally looking, I thought they had a la carte services you could orders. Which was true, but I didn't know that they only had limited hours, just a brief window in the morning, and another window in the evening. Alternatively, you can have care for blocks of time during the days, as opposed to a la carte, but you have to commit to 20 hours a week. In order to accommodate my loved ones schedule and needs, neither of those options worked. So there were just lots of things to learn as we went. The absolute best thing about The Manor is he has a super fabulous balcony that overlooks the back garden area, which was important for him because he smokes. It's just beautiful. It's a lovely back area and a beautiful view. That was the main selling point for him of the whole community.

The cafeteria and other servers are very friendly, and the nurses are as well. The aides are not. They've been nasty and terrible to my mom. They've left her in the cafeteria area, have not been responsible in providing hygiene for her, and are not telling the nurses she's run out of medicine. But everything else has been good. She tells me the food is pretty good as well.

I live here, and everything is great. I always get the help I need!

I live here as a tenant until my new house is finished. I do not go to the dining room or participate in any activities.

loved the 2 bedroom unit. Worth checking out again for a more in-depth overall.

The response when we ask for something is not the best. It seems to all funnel through one person and we cannot get answers and that is the biggest issue that we have had here. We are paying for all these amenities and are not sure if she is utilizing them. The nurse on site has been very helpful. My mom has gained some weight which is really good because she needed to.

GA has some very good people there and some that are not. Get rid of the below average workers and find better ones. There are 2 or 3 super stars. Find more. When mom and dad moved in i believe GA did not know how to handle mom which enfed up catastrophically. Dad fit in good but there was always uncertainty by me and my sibs as to the level of expert care. Cleaning and food was sub standard. But i was always welcomed. Friendliness was there. Warmth too.

This was an okay community, was a bit older though.
