Danbury has been fine, but my parents have had a rough go of things. Everything has been fine as far as the community itself. The cleanliness, and staff and whatnot have been good. I think we have been pretty happy with the care there in general. But our situation health-wise might be changing, in which case this might not be the right place.

One area where they could improve would be to have more and better variety of activities. They seem a little light on the activities there. The staff though has really been incredibly friendly. The food also is very good. Overall it has been a very good experience with Spring Meadows Naperville.

One thing that they could improve would be to clean the rooms a little better when preparing for the next occupant to move in. They were a little lacking there. Other than that everything else has been quite good. They have really good communication and follow-up.

It was very clean, and organized, and the staff was very friendly. The food was good. They have a partnership with a skilled nursing program there, and I have had challenges with them. The time it takes for the staff to attend the needs of the seniors, and specifically my mother was lacking. I think that they might be understaffed for the number of residents that are in that care program.

Very nice facility. It was cozy and nice atmosphere. Just a bit further across town than what we wanted. Cindy was wonderful to work with. Pricing is a bit more challenging to understand than other places.

Overall we've been very pleased with the service at The Hearth at Windermere. The staff are all very friendly and do a good job looking out for the people who live here. The facility itself is well kept and clean. Really the only issue that's come up so far is that it is a much bigger place than she is used to, and she's having a little trouble getting settling in socially. But overall it is a nice place, and we would recommend it to anyone looking into senior care in the area.

First choice, rooms moderate size, felt at home.

Things have gone very well so far at Ponder Creek Estates! It's a nice looking place, very clean, and everyone seems very friendly. The only real complaint we had is that the move-in process didn't feel very streamlined. We had to carry her furniture down a long narrow hallway, and we felt like we were getting in the way of the other residents.

This is an independent living facility. We haven't used care services; they cost extra. I'm not sure which activities she 's using. Cost wise it was probably the most reasonable. The location works well because it's close to her family. The place is clean and friendly.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought that this was a very nice looking place, overall! The staff all seemed very friendly, and the facility was clean and well kept. I wasn't as impressed with the food here, compared to other communities I had seen in the area.

Westcourt is a beautiful facility. Seems they have thought of all a person needs. The staff seem happy and the facility is clean. The parking is a bit crowded and difficult to find a place to park.

Overall things have gone very well with The Manor at Steeplechase. The facility itself is fabulous. It isn't a new building, but it is clean, well kept, and the decor is attractive and professional. Just the look of the place gave me an immediate good feeling, and made me feel confident that I could trust them with my loved one. Their sales team also does a great job. They were informative and helpful throughout the whole process. On that note, I do feel like the business could have better coordination between the administrative staff of the facility and the sales staff. Once we selected this facility I feel like I could have used a lot more guidance from the facility staff itself about how to proceed and get things set up.

My mom is really happy at Oxmoor Lodge. The accommodations are really nice as well.

We had a wonderful time here. Jim the Manager was delightful and funny, really loves his job. We meet many residents and got lots of information. This was the one place we enjoyed lunch and our host was a delightful, and the food was good. We would consider this place next time around.

Response time to requests can be a little slow, when I asked if I can have him scheduled for a haircut, it took three weeks. I don't know when the podiatrist is here, in the five weeks we've been here and he has not been here. I have eaten with my dad, and the meals seem very balanced and nutritious, they could be seasoned a little more. The biggest thing I would say is just a little more salt and pepper. They are very conscientious about getting fluids in them. They have a choice of what to eat, and they get to see a visual plate of each thing. All of the staff is really nice, and helpful. No one avoids the undesirable situations. Sometimes I feel they are a little short staffed. I can come and join into the activities, if I want.

I searched for a long time before moving my parents from Texas to Beaverdale Estates. It was a mutual decision to have them move into this beautiful independent living community. The entry into the building is welcoming with the outdoor rockers and the open entryway. The regal dining area is beautiful to sit in. One of the many things we enjoy at Beaverdale is the musical entertainment by Managers Aaron and Margaret Jamal. They are amazing. Not only are they wonderful managers, they are magnificent musicians! Their smiles bring light to the room and give us all a feeling of being "family". Many times, Aaron has given my dad a few words of encouragement or perhaps a different way to look at things. It's made a difference during a not-so-good day. And Margaret is always so positive! She's helped me through some tough days with my parents. Their faith always shows through in all they do. Beaverdale Estates is a generation of people who, for the majority, are faith-based. This is one of the reasons we are at Beaverdale. If it weren't for these particular managers, we would leave. They make it "home" so HOME is where we are at! I know that my parents will be looked after if I am not in the building. And I know I will be contacted if something should happen. It's the security of knowing my parents are with people who care, which Margaret and Aaron do. I am thankful to have found Beaverdale Estates and these wonderful managers.

I want to tell you about the managers, Aaron and Margaret Jamal, who truly make this place a home. They understand the needs of the elderly. They show compassion, dignity, and caring for each individual. They know each resident by name and they call them by name, as well. Aaron and Margaret are very loving and musically talented people and they share their talents with the entire community. They are needed here as they are FAMILY here. When they are on duty, there is an air of light heartedness and a truly peaceful feeling of being HOME. Their presence is not only one of security, it is one of faith, of promise, and hope and a loving protectiveness that you can only find with managers who are dedicated and willing to remain with the community longterm. They give us the sense of the togetherness one would get as being part of a family, which Beaverdale Estates is....thanks to Margaret and Aaron. They are all business when it is needed and all family when needed, as well. God bless them for their service!!!

They are clean and the personnel is friendly. The services are good. They have activities, and could maybe use a little more variety, but we aren't too interested in those. I would like for them to change their policy of having you eat at the same time without any variance, we must eat at a specific hour instead of a window of time.

I would think that a family should understand that the level of care that sunrise provides – they’re more in tune to residents that have more advanced needs. This might not be a good match if you’re looking for independent living.

Wonderful place with a great staff who really do seem to care. My father and mother both lived there together initially. Dad passed away there while in hospice and they honestly did everything they could to help him (and us) through the process. Mom is there now alone. Her room is well maintained. They help bath her regularly and the food is actually very good. A less than positive experience with Sunrise Assisted Living truly makes us thankful for Parkside. It is a great company that lives up to the nice appearance.
