Lots of pleasant activities, residents can be as busy as their health and inclinations permit. Residents are friendly, staff is familiar with their names. Servers know the regular diners. Menus are varied and cater to people who know and appreciate good food. Staff is open to suggestions.

I toured this community for my mother, and her needs. It was a good experience, everything went well. The community was nice, and clean from what I saw. The staff was kind, and helpful. This is a nice community, everyone was very kind to my family and myself.

We got an informative tour from a knowledgeable staff. I liked what I saw here but I thought it was a lot smaller and I was afraid my loved one would not fit in. It also seemed very communal and we needed a more private community. They had a common area where everyone gathered and had activities.

My loved one lives here and she has told me she doesn't feel like they are meeting the promises they gave to her in the beginning. They don't offer as many activities as they said they did and she was told they have a shuttle service but they only take them to Walmart once a week and to doctors appointments.She said the staff is friendly but there is a lack of communication.

Spring Leaf is conveniently located next to Danbury (an assisted living facility). As a truly independent living facility, it met our expectations. All apartments include a one-car garage in the monthly rent. Utilities are not included in rent--but the rent is very reasonable. Two very nice gathering rooms but very small workout space (one treadmill, one recumbent bike and one rack of weights). Residents can eat meals at Danbury for an additional cost. Staff were very accommodating.

I like the care here for my father. they are attentive. The community is very clean. We like the meals and we are happy with the variety. They do have activities that are offered to the residents. I would be happy to commend the care and the value to other families for the care of a loved one.

This is a really nice community, and my tour of it went very well. The community looked nice. Everything was well-kept, and looked clean. The staff was friendly, and courteous. It was a pleasant experience, but I found a community that fit my mother in law, and her needs better.

I am very pleased that my mother has a nice place to live where she gets the help she needs and is close by. The staff make it a point to be friendly and helpful. They show everyday that they care and develop a personal connection.

This is a nice community. I like how the staff is caring and friendly. The meals appear to be good and appealing. She is offered activities, but at this time she is not active. We would recommend this great caring community to other families.

This seemed like a nice community when we visited. The people we met were nice. The community was clean, however we did not feel this community was the right fit for my loved one.

Everything seems to be going okay here. We really like our condo and the community is really nice. Also it's always clean. I am waiting for them to start up activities because we want to get involved. I'm impressed with everything.

My Mom looked at several places and decided to go with Senior Star. She looked at high end places (expensive) and very simple, yet nice, (moderately priced) facilities. She made the decision to go to Senior Star, based on, Quality, Value, and Comfort. Overall a nice place, the staff is great, and Mom is happy, that is what counts the most for me.

The decorations in the facility are bright cheery and uplifting. The staff is very welcoming and interested in all the people. The people that have moved here are welcoming, interested in each other and supportive. The staff, the fun committee endeavors to keep us involved and occupied in different activities.

When I came for a tour I got the feeling I was buying a used care and the staff were more interested in the sales than me. But it was a nice community to see. I got to see empty apartments and meet the people there. The apartments were nice but not as huge like I wanted.

I toured this community for my parents, and their needs. My tour went well, this is a nice community. From what I saw everything was very nice, and well maintained. The staff was very friendly too my family and I. It was a nice experience, but my parents didn't feel comfortable with the location.

I didn't think this was so good for the memory impaired. There is no way to safely contain the newly placed person with a memory issue. But the place is quite large and very lively, with a LOT of sunlight. I would move there myself!
