I have no complaints of how things are going for my loved one since they moved into this community. The staff have all been wonderful and I am comfortable with the care they are providing her. She has had no issues with the meals and enjoys participating in activities with the other residents from time to time. Overall it has been a pleasant experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

Per mom once she toured this place she didn't want to go anywhere else she fell in love with it. Her living space is comfortable and the right size for what she wanted. Everything is clean and well maintained. We have had some minor issues but the staff is actively working on resolving them. They are friendly and kind. Mom is doing puzzles and playing cards and generally socializing with people which are good. She loves the food there.

I have no complaints of how things are going for my father since he moved into this community. I am very pleased with our choice of this place it has turned out to be the perfect fit for my dad. He has had no complaints about the meals and enjoys participating in some of activities with the other residents from time to time. Overall we are pleased and would recommend it to anyone.

A wonderful place to be – they are helpful, clean and concerned about everyone. Wish they would stop firing the good people as it makes such a difference when you fine people who are such wonderful employees. Stop changing kitchen chefs, a good one should stay as well as activities director and helpers and bus driver.

I knew no one when I moved to this community 3 years ago. And participated in activities provided I became acquainted and made friends. Now I feel connected in the village. My apartment is pleasant and I feel safe. I appreciate the amenities from the support staff. The best part of my move in proximity to my daughter and her family.

I love Independence Village. I’m Concerned about a lot of “change over” in managerial. Why? I’m very disappointed in the new brochure. If I had to choose a place to live, by just reading about it, I would not be inclined to choose Avon Lakes Independence Village. Having said that I did visit lots of places and Independence won. Also won with my family.

The facility is very nice and [Removed] does a great job. They offer an abundance of activities, lovely patio areas and nicely appointed dining facilities. While the apartment rates are reasonably, it ends up being one of the more expensive facilities when you add in the extra charges for levels of care and memory care.
