The apartment is small but it’s just me and so I’m comfortable. All the staff are just great. They will do anything for you. They’re a real joy. The only bad thing about the employees is when they leave. I’d like to see more variety in the menus but the desserts are always wonderful.

The Hawaiian Luau was a lot of fun and great success. Thanks to [names removed] for a great job!

When I moved in 2 years ago it was very important to me to live in a pet friendly community, and I was able to move with my cat. She is my best friend and I knew I couldn't move without her. The staff are very friendly and caring. Overall I would rate the community a 9 but there is no such thing as a perfect place.

Very impressive place. Great staff and facilities. Immaculate, wide variety of onsite activities and even a gentleman dressed as Mark Twain was walking in to lead a historical discussion as we were leaving. Still have another facility to visit today but this place will be hard to beat!

Like everything except part-time staff resulting in turn over. Food is great as is house cleaning.

A nice place to have the care that is needed for this period of life for [name removed]. Very difficult to be separated after 62 years of marriage.

I am so very comfortable living in this community. I feel I was sent here for a purpose. The entire staff is fabulous! They have so much patience with everyone. I can't see but I can hear what is going on. Staff are warm and remember the special things people need. This community gives me purpose. I have many new friends.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, Residents were happy,it was clean,the only real issue was the cost going up every year.For a senior on budget won't work to well

I really like all of the wonderful activities that are offered. The entertainers that are hired are very professional and fun. The entire staff is very friendly. The executive director [name removed] goes above and beyond to ensure the residents are taken care of and informed of everything going on.

I was very impressed with all of the instructors especially the swim instructor. Also the Marketing Director, [name removed] was very helpful. At the present time I am unable to move my condo, however after visiting other Senior Living homes - Lakeview at Joey Ranch has impressed me the most. I have a friend who just moved into a two bedroom apartment and she is very happy at Lakeview.

Also on the top of my list. Comfortable, nice sized apartments. Assisted living options are very inclusive, depending on the level of assistance required. Setting is peaceful, activities are abundant. Nice place!. Also on the top of my list.

The space was lovely. It looks like they do a lot to keep the residents engaged.

Though the rent may seem high at first when you run the numbers for everything that's included, StoryPoint is worth it. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to assist you. Residents make you feel like part of their extended family. Activities are planned for each day which you can take part in or skip. If I were retired this is where I'd want to be.

Staff is very kind and seems to really care about the residents. Dad has been very happy here and enjoys the activities and socializing with other residents. Good food!

I think that they are very friendly here. They entertain us very much. I just know that the food is good. We are treated very well. Housekeeping is especially good. Maintenance is always there when needed. I am especially happy here.

Overall we are pleased. Nothing is like being home but after getting settled things are getting familiar. Not happy with the staff transition and turnover of employees but sadly that is everywhere in senior care. Need trash taken from rooms once a day and it has been every 3-4 days. Senior depends have not been distributed like we were told would be. Urine and feces are a major problem with residents and seeing them get up with wet pants from a chair should be more supervised by employees and made to clean up and change. It’s a job no one wants and I commend employees for doing so.

Mother has improved greatly since moving into The Hearth! We do wish she would make efforts to mingle much more, true to her nature she stays in her room most of the day. Confusing to us due to her desire to be with people. One of the things she disliked was being cooped up in her home with no one to talk to. She also has mentioned some dissatisfaction with the meals. I do not know if it is just her taste buds these days or something else. However, she is not a big eater. But her health and ability to get around have improved while in The Hearth. She was initially baffled by the fact that so many people greeted her by name! Such is the case when a new person enters a community. Overall, to date we are pleased with her stay.

My wife [name removed] and I were here for 1.5 years -- '07-'09 initially. She is now in Lk Orion R&R. I came back to Waterstone in 2011 knowing I would be comfortable here. Even so, in the 8 years that I have lived here I have noticed great improvement in most all aspects... management, food, entertainment, etc. I cannot give 5 stars below because I've never been to any other community, but I'm sure IVW would rate very high with any of the others.

Very nice community. The staff is great, nice selection of activities, and the food is good. The culture is very warm and inviting.

This is a nice facility. It is hard to rate memory care, as there are only 8 residents, and it was not possible to see more than a glance at care or activities. The independent living facilities are nice, but I had no opportunity to chat with any residents, and only with the staff member who gave me the tour.
