Independence Village takes very good care of my dad, there are lots of activities and the staff really cares for my dad.

The Staff cares greatly about my dad. They are like an extension to our family.

Enjoy being here, plenty of activities if you choose to do them.

There's lots to do and people to meet...very clean and affordable...staff very friendly and helpful....very good overall experience!! Would recommend to anyone!!

I love living at StoryPoint Grove City. The staff is friendly and most helpful. It has been wonderful getting to know the other residents here and to share common interests and to learn new ways to get involved.

[Name removed] does a great job of handling the front of the house. She is friendly and helpful to ll of the many visitors that come through the front door every day. She knows her job wry well. She c@n hndlle any of the many problems that arise every day. One of her many.qualitys is how pleasant she is on all of her many jobs and entera+toons with so many diffrnt people. User main ttrbute is she I just great.

I am the daughter of one of the residents at StoryPoint. My parents were one of the first to move in and have been so happy ever since!! The staff is amazing, helpful and genuinely care about the the residents. The food is chef prepared...not institutional food. The other residents are friendly and everyone greets each other by name. There are all kinds of activities at the site plus off site activities offered. There is also a home care services if needed along with physical therapy. Both of my parents have had to use both services and very pleased with the quality of care and physical therapy they received. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about StoryPoint...my parents have been happy, safe and well cared for. I highly recommend them.

This is our first experience with senior living. We feel great about our experience so far at StoryPoint Middletown. The staff are so friendly and always check up on us.

I’m very happy here. The food is delicious and well presented. The service is great they’ve made us feel extra special.

We have visited Story Point several times in the past couple of months. This place is really nice. Everything is so fresh and clean. Every staff member we have met have been so helpful and they really seem to enjoy their jobs. The other residents seem to like everything. And the dinner menu had fried chicken and mashed potatoes...what else could anyone want?

I think it’s great at StoryPoint Middletown. It’s a wonderful place to live after coming from another senior living community that I wasn’t pleased with. I have no complaints other than wishing I could give it 10 stars instead of 5!!

just concern of "spotty" appearance of seats on dining room chairs . . are they cleaned with some frequency . . . just asking . . Thanks

I have personally reviewed and visited 6 places or more while looking for a location for my mother. Storrypoint was by far the winner. For the intake, [name removed] (new resident director) wes very upfront with everything and very compassionate. Once moved in, everything was as good or much better than we were lead to believe. The service provided was top notch. The facility is very clean and well kept. The people working there do a great job of encouraging the tenants to get out of their rooms and have meals with others as well as to participate in the many available activities. The appartments are very nice, in great shape, seemed larger than competitors, have nice size windows and great lighting. Last of all, but certainly not least...the food is incredibly good....similar to what you would expect in a very nice restaurant. Tennants will love the food and so will visitors.

My dad has such a full and productive life at Independence Village of Plymouth. The staff care about creating a community where people connect, communicate, and create! There are a variety of activities that people can become involved with to meet those goals. Art classes, exercise groups, book clubs, mixers, and anything residents might want to be involved in are available. Each resident’s dwelling is not just an apartment but a home. Each floor is a neighborhood. The lobby and library are the town square. Director, [name removed], sets a tone of caring about each individual resident and their families. A woman of high integrity, she values each resident for the unique addition that they are to this community. I know my dad is well cared for. I know my dad is safe. I know my dad is valued. And I know my dad is happy at Independence Village of Plymouth.

A great place starts with a great leader, [name removed] is the finest you'll find for your loved ones, her care for the residents can be seen in all she does. All the departments follow her lead, Culinary with it's delicious foods and waitstaff. Housekeeping keeping residents clothes/linens fresh and clean and the building clean and comfortable. Maintenance making sure those little glitches get fixed promptly, they do a great job with such a large building. Activities always making sure the residents have things to do and are having fun doing it, it's great to see the residents smile and laugh. The front office staff is always there to help, it's comforting to know they are there 24/7 to assist any need. If you are looking for a caring place for a loved one, I would certainly consider Plymouth Independence Village.

Since coming to Independence Village 15 months ago, I have experienced a wide range of assistance. Following surgery and complications, I needed help morning and night. Now I again live independently and can enjoy all the activities here; exercise classes, cards, music programs and outings. The residents and staff are so friendly and helpful. Also the meals are varied and delicious!

I have been comfortable since my husband and I moved here about 6 years ago. The building is clean, the meals are nutritious, staff and residents are friendly and kind. The hospice care my husband received here was comforting and just what he needed.

My daughter's father-in-law lived here for four years before I came here to live. She knew this would be an ideal place for me. I have lived here 7 years now and love every minute of it with all the friendship and always something to do if one wishes.

I have been a resident at provisions of West Bloomfield for approximately the last year. My experience here, has been very positive in so many ways. I have Felt loved, cared for, and respected in every way. The staff here has made me feel very welcome and safe. There is someone that needs an extra special thank you as far as I’m concerned. [Name removed] has gone out of her way, above and beyond, in so many ways, to make my stay here so comfortable. Whenever I expressed a need for myself, she was right there, on top of it, and made certain that everything was taken care of, properly and efficiently. [Name removed] Is thrilled to help anyone, for anything, for any reason, to make sure everyone is taken care of . Even when I’ve had to be in a hospital from time to time, she would reach out to my family to check on me. She always made me feel so welcome, and a very important part of the community where I was living. Thank you so much to her, and everyone that helped me in my time of need.
